How to add MOBILE CONTROLS in Godot 3? Tutorial

[Music] and now in this game you can go left right jump or even atta attack stupid game first enable the emulate touch from mouse checkbox now you can test your touch buttons using the mouse on your computer you can find this on the project settings input devices pointing next create a new scene call it mobile controls and it will be a canvas layer it's a great node for the oi elements it works independent of the camera node let's add a few touch screens buttons left right jump and attack i prepared here two png files for this button you can just drag and drop it to a normal property after moving and resizing it should looks like this for the left right and jump you can use the same arrow just rotate it using the rotation degrees and here comes the magic you can use these buttons to invoke your actions from the input map for example in my game i'm using game write game left game jump and game attack to use these actions just write the name of the action in the action property now let's add this scene to the player scene and the rotterdam is working right now i'm using the mouse to control the player remember that the mouse now emulates the touch screen time for upgrades the left and right controls could be better right now to change directions i need to release the input and press it once again in our touch buttons we have the option pass by press when it's active we can change the buttons with one finger touch right now i press only once and i can change the direction from left to right and reverse the last minor update will be to change the transparency of the buttons and that's all for this tutorial you can try the final results on my hio page the link is on the description like the video if you like it dislike if you didn't and thanks for watching bye
