How to Add a Second Gmail Account

in this video i'm going to talk about adding a second gmail account on your computer so you might want to do this if you're sharing a laptop maybe between two different people who have two different accounts and you might want to do this because you were accessing a different email so you've got a work email and you've got a home email you want to keep those separate so that's what we're going to do today is add that second account to your google screen so this is my inbox and i already have a number of accounts connected so yours will look a little bit different but you're going to head over to the upper right where you see either a picture of yourself or your logo or maybe the initial from your first name and click on that button and then you'll see that you can manage your google account that's associated with this email address and you'll probably just see add another account i've got a couple of accounts here that are different clients of mine but i'm going to click add another account [Music] and then these are those same accounts but you'll use use another account this time and then you just type in the address the email address of that account [Music] this is the second email address i use but i want to keep this separate and there is a way if you want to get the same you want to get two different email addresses into the same inbox there'll be a link in the upper right hand corner to someone who's done a video about that this is if you want to keep them very separate click next type your password in and now you see that inbox and you can see up here in the upper right a different thumbnail image and you can see if you hover over that what account we're looking at and then you'll be able to click on this and you'll see the different accounts so this was the original one you see there's a kind of a gray background on that one and there's a black background on this one and you can just switch back and forth between them and so there we are back to you and it's adding another tab so it's opening them on different tabs here so that you can easily switch back and forth between your different inboxes and of course when you get to the end you can come down here and sign out of everything and that logs you out of all your different google accounts if you got value out of this video i would love it if you subscribed i'm working on getting my 1 000 subscriber maybe that could be you
