How much does Paint Protection Film and Ceramic Coating cost?

all right what's going on guys I am back with I think this is video number four about my ppf on my Tesla Model y if you guys haven't seen my previous three videos I pretty much have walked you guys through the entire process and I did not update you on the last one or at least I told you on the last one that I was gonna probably finish up the car because if you guys didn't see my previous videos I pretty much almost had the whole car ppf except for the back panels and the back bumper as well as the uh trim and the and the hatch so since then I brought it back to Elite I figured I'd might as well just finish out the rest of the car because honestly having ppf on the car you can really feel the hydrophobic layer on the ppf so I will normally just give it like a quick wipe down every other day or so and you can really feel the difference with the ppf portion of it and then the portion that was non-ppf so being that I already had pretty much almost the whole car done I just wanted to finish it all out so I did bring it back to Elite I did the rear of the ppf on the rear of the car as well as I got it ceramic coated and I got a bunch of comments on my previous videos of course asking how much did it cost how much is ppf how much is ceramic on something like a model Y and if you guys haven't seen those videos I did get everything done at Elite finish so I kind of want to go through with you guys uh what it cost roughly what it costs and also what's included in those packages and this is all from Elite and the price is still kind of more of a range because it is based on materials it's based on location time when you get it done uh so I'm going to be giving you guys more of a range of different packages that they did offer when I got mine done now if you guys do have a model y or just a Tesla in general the front bumper is so exposed to paint and you'll see a lot of rock chips on a majority of the Teslas out there because there's just so much paint up front so the one thing I would definitely recommend is at the bare minimum get the front bumper package which can range anywhere between 950 to 1500 and what that includes is the front bumper right here it includes your headlight your fog light it also includes your side view mirror so that's included as well as your door handles they'll put a a kind of a matte black ppf on the door handle because it's a you know a high traffic touch area so you'll get that and you'll get this on here as well as you will also get a luggage strip that goes in the very back portion of the trunk area so they do include that but that's at the bare minimum I would get because like I said that front bumper normally will take a lot of beatings from rocks that are kicked up onto the car now from the front bumper package they do have the full front end package so all those things I just talked about and if you want to include now the hood as well as the fenders on top of that front bumper package if you want to do a full front end you're going to include now the hood and the fenders as well as all the other ones the front bumper the headlights the side view mirrors door handles as well as the luggage strip and the price for a full front end ranges is anywhere between 1800 to 2500 for a full front end on something like this the model Y and like I talked about the beginning of the video I had majority of the car done when I first got brought it in I brought it in I got the front end I ended up getting a door and then I ended up adding on another door and then I was like all right I just need to finish out the rest of the car because I just like I said I really liked how it feels when you wipe it down and it just keeps everything nice and easy to clean so if you're looking at getting a whole car or the whole car ppf you're gonna be spending anywhere between 4 800 to 7 500 for a complete car now the main reason why the range is kind of a little bit wider is because of the fact that you can choose from like matte you can choose from glossy I believe they even have colored ppf now uh which I've seen them post on their YouTube channels which is really cool and then also when they do ppf if you guys see my videos they will disassemble the car they'll take off the trim they'll make sure everything is ppf underneath like fog lights in the front as well as here these side view cameras they will get underneath all that so it includes all the disassemble and reassemble of the car where the ppf is going to be going now I did talk about this on my previous video just the differences between ppf and ceramic after they did that I did go with the ceramic coating so I did a full ceramic coating on top of the car on top of the ppf as far as full ceramic on the car that can range as well anywhere between 1500 to 3000 and mainly because it depends on the the type of car how much prep is needed of course if you're bringing in there a brand new car it's going to need less work and of course if you're bringing a car that has some defects or you know something wrong with the coat of the car there might be a little bit more work there but just letting you guys know it could range anywhere between 1500 to 3000 as far as ceramic coating the entire car and if you guys are still a little bit confused with ppf versus ceramic coating I'll make sure that video I just posted not too long ago I'll make sure it's listed above as well as Down Below in the video description now on top of doing the car in ceramic I didn't even know that you can do the wheels the rims as well as the calipers you can ceramic coat those and that was actually something I did on these wheels as well one thing that's really good about Tesla's is that you don't use or have to use your brakes as much because of the regen braking once you let go of the pedal so you don't get as much as that brake dust all inside of the rim you're just kind of pretty much wiping down the rims based on you know if it was muddy or dirty wherever you were driving so adding that ceramic coating on here again just makes it a little bit easier if it's dirty for you to actually just get a rag and just kind of wipe down the rim a lot of that dirt and debris just wipes right off now besides the ppf and the ceramic coating the one thing I did change to make my car a little bit more unique and it's a subtle change but if you guys can tell I actually put a 50 ppf on top of the headlights or over the headlights instead of the regular clear ppf so you'll get that same protection of ppf but just for me as far as this color goes with the gray I I just felt like it it made it just a lot more sleek and like I said it just made it stand out just a little bit I had the 50 ppf on the headlight the fog light as well as the tail lights all right so while I went through all of that there's still one more thing I haven't done yet and that is interior ceramic coating this is something I still might do as of right now I've just been pretty you know on top of cleaning the car whenever I go out and if kids are in my car I'll normally just get a quick wipe down you know every other day or every few days or so to keep it clean I haven't done interior ceramic but I definitely am thinking about it and for the price range as far as interior ceramic which they will pretty much cover almost everything here ranges anywhere between 400 to 750 full full ceramic interior I hope this kind of gave you a little bit more information about ppf ceramic coating and if you guys are in the San Diego area I'll make sure Elites information
