How LEGO Luigi TRIGGERS You!

warning the following video is over exaggerated most opinions shared aren't that accurate to my thoughts and feelings as long as lego luigi doesn't come to life everything will be okay we'll get through this together [Music] before even getting to lego luigi i had to give lego mario another update now look he's no longer cursed because bethany removed it using the orb of power but this still makes me a little nervous and when updating luigi the app calls him lego mario luigi really can't escape the second fiddle roll poor guy the lego luigi box is shaped really weird again retail stores must hate stocking this i can't get over that i need batteries for lego luigi why can't he just be rechargeable like mario lego luigi is very creepy when turned off and the volume is still way too quiet for luigi yeah hello i i can't hear you it would have been so cool if lego luigi was way taller than mario like in the actual games i mean he's technically taller here but it's not enough of a difference honestly it's kind of crappy you can't buy lego mario or luigi on their own the set they come in is so bare bones it'd be much better to spend 10 bucks on lego mario and then buy some actually interesting sets just like the series 1 sets the series 2 and series 3 enemies power up little container things are completely random oh of course i got the freaking poison mushroom that sums up this business practice toxic let's just be real the paratrooper's wings would absolutely not hold him up they're way too small in comparison to the rest of his body i wanted to be excited about this golden pipe because it's gold but it puts luigi on a shorter timer than the green one which is kind of dumb as someone that owns every single lego set trying to connect them all together is basically impossible legos don't need to be designed in this weird open world manner like mario 64. it doesn't make sense for lego just make it i guess linear like mario 3d world so the piranha plant puzzling challenge has these new red coin blocks which is cool but there's only three of them they couldn't have made eight like an actual mario game and guess what you collect 10 coins from hitting all three of these blocks they could have at least made it eight coins to be somewhat faithful to the games so the pal block instructions want me to specifically hide one side of the pow image which inherently really isn't that big a deal but why have the pow image on both of these blocks if we're only going to see one side this sumo bros doesn't look scary in the slightest in fact i think he's about to cry hey john can you give him a tissue okay thanks i'm sure i'll feel better soon so this lekka 2 looks kinda decent but it's attached to the cloud permanently so you can't add or remove them from the cloud riddle me this nintendo how can you possibly make a like it to exclusive set without a single spiny enemy the power upsets being 10 bucks a piece is still an incredibly steep price you get almost no actual legos with it okay so random thought but uh what is it with the lego mario sets having so many random ass towers to build i feel like that's all i'm building half the time tower tower tower boom boom's arms look like crap it looks like half the arm is chopped off and they're also way too long they actually go below his legs somehow i still can't ride the pink yoshi can we get the beak yoshi next time so pink yoshi can't eat bigger enemies i know he technically can't in the actual games either but that still stinks a little bit you know i'm kind of surprised we can't move krober's wings a lot of the lego mario enemies have movable body parts the only way i can properly seal bowser's airship is with these two big lego pieces i mean it's fine but there surely must have been a better workaround than this i said it before and i'll say it again the goombas and now the bone goombas are looking chonky when killing kamek you get the mario 64 painting sound effect [Music] uh what does this have to do with anything kamik isn't even in super mario 64. and you want to know what else is dumb kamik's qr code being on his butt he can't properly stick himself to his own broomstick you can basically destroy this entire massive ship with just a few jumps that makes no sense frog luigi looks pretty great frog mario looks awful since his shirt is red and it bleeds through the design of the parabola is exactly the same as a regular bob bomb with a parachute there's not even a different face expression that's so cheap why does the tanooki sound effect play when shaking b mario [Music] you know what's more confusing is there is a tanuki mario that has that sound effect just kind of seems like a weird oversight i noticed that when i'm just shaking mario in general i don't get it so there's this treasure hunt game you can activate from the app but when you find the treasure you only get one coin what kind of treasure we digging up here the skewer with the resner set is pretty clever but why not just hit the bottom of the block like the actual game it's just as effective i love how unnecessarily difficult it is to reach this mystery block in the resner set i have to pull this block down use one of the brothers or my finger to push down on this gray switch then that lifts the qr code so i can finally access it with lego mario or luigi that is a pain in the hiney my god these candles on the resner center in a horrible spot it makes it hard to get coins from toad when they're just there get out of the way god i can't put larry's smack dab in the middle of this tower since he's unattached to the tower itself it's actually kind of the worst hammock looks so freaking derpy just look at his face i should clarify again that like last year these sets are spendy if you choose to buy them all you'll drop hundreds of dollars just to get them if there's one good thing i can say about lego luigi at least he isn't possessed like lego mario was so regardless of my thoughts on the set being too expensive and all that jazz he's perfectly good to have as just a normal toy [Music] see he's fine perfectly fine he's perfectly fine [Music]
