hello students I hope you all are doing great uh and enjoying your holidays okay so in today's video we will be discussing about KCT rank versus marks okay so as you all know yesterday uh Kaa on their official website have uh have released the the provisional answers okay so as you all know they have excluded the questions many questions that were out of syllabus have been excluded so now many students are having doubt how the how the ranks are calculated like what is the weightage and these kind of questions are very common that students are asking me like sir I have scored 280 Marks in My pu board exam in physics chemistry and maths and I have scored uh 91 in my KC so what will be my rank so all the students are very much uh eager to know what rank they are going to get so that is why I have built a web app a simple web app where you can uh put your marks and it will give the result okay so before we uh start before we go to the rank predictor tool that I have developed first let's understand like how the rank is calculated quickly so as you all know the weightage weightage is for pu board exam you have 50% weightage and KC 2024 exam the weightage is 50% okay next coming to the latest update from Kaa as you all know yesterday uh they have released the provisional answer key in that for each subject they have mentioned the questions that are excluded so in physics you have nine questions that were excluded in chemistry 15 and maths 15 so in total 39 questions are excluded so you have 180 questions in that 39 questions are gone so your KCT is now only for 141 marks okay clear this is very important okay so now the 50% weightage is for 141 marks so I will explain this within example it will be clear to you one more thing that I want to share with you all is uh you will find many YouTube videos on KCT rank versus uh marks so on different kind of analysis or different updates related to KC but I would suggest only trust you follow you can follow as many video videos as you want but always if you are watching a video if you get some information related to KCT first I would suggest go to Ka website okay go to Ka website and there is a section in admissions called KCT go refer that website whatever all the latest updates you'll find in the website so you can every day maybe you can check the website once so that you don't miss out any websites miss out any updates and uh the thing I'm trying to tell is don't blindly uh follow YouTube videos that is a wrong uh Habit always do your own work also go and check the official website okay so let's coming back to the video uh yes I'll show you a example okay so a student has scored in PC board exam 2024 physics 85 chemistry 90 math 95 270 marks okay and in KCT exam he has scored 45 marks 30 and 32 marks now he has scored 107 out of 141 marks so how is the rank calculated how is the score calculated so as you all know 300 marks means 50% so 270 is how much so it is we'll just cross multiply 270 into 50 ID by 300 which comes out to be 45 marks okay out of 50 and for KC 141 means 50 so he has got 107 so similar cross multiplication 17 into 50 divided by 141 which is 37 uh 9 out of 50 so his score is 45 + 37.9 which is 70 75 83.9 out out of 100 okay according to this rank will be allocated okay yeah so coming to the interesting part of the video that is the rank prediction tool okay so before I reveal this Tool uh this has been updated according to yesterday's uh Ka relatest update okay accordingly I have updated I want to make one thing clear it is just a prediction tool it will not give you the exact rank okay actual rank cannot be predicted uh I will also tell you the method that I have used I have used the B distribution curve okay this is a statistical method well distribution curve well distribution curve okay it is a statistical method using which we can predict the cas set predict the ranks okay so you can go and read about this also the logic behind the tool is B distribution yeah uh I am reminding it last time so don't take this as your actual rank it is just an approximation based on this you can plan you can see for which colleges you can get you can research on those colleges which branch you can go those kind of things it will help you okay yeah coming to the uh website yeah the the website link will be Pro will be provided in the uh telegram group you have to join the telegram group there you will find the K this the rank prediction link the tools link so uh say our our student got 270 marks right 270 marks and one out of 141 marks he has Got7 marks right yeah so let's see what is the rank he can expect so this student can expect a very good Rank 3 385 rank okay this is a predicted rank from the tool but his actual rank can be between 1 to 1185 we don't know that okay it can be any number between 1 to 1185 and still it is a approximation yeah there is a huge uh huge like what do you say huge range within which it can vary okay so this is how you can use this tool to predict your rank okay it won't give you the actual rank it is just a prediction you can go and check for other numbers you can change this and change this and check for other numbers also you can put 250 250 and say your friend has scored 80 marks let's see what is the rank okay so he can expect a rank of 16,43 4 so this is how you can play around with putting different numbers so that you get an idea about how the rank varies okay yeah that is all uh in in today's video so I hope this was helpful to you so don't forget to press the like button so that it reaches more students so more uh students get their doubts cleared from this video and don't forget to subscribe to my channel so that you don't lose any of the latest Ka updates okay thank you
