How I wash and wax my motorhome in less than an hour!!!!

[Music] hello everyone and welcome to the RV inspection and care channel I'm Duane and this video is part two in a three-part series of videos that help you understand how to care for the outside of any RV now if you haven't seen the first video I encourage you to go back and take a look at it because that video will explain how many modern products today are able to encapsulate dirt on the side of your RV pull it away from the surface and then using high-quality microfiber towels or mop heads you can easily and quickly remove that dirt and wax your RV at the same time with these products now let me make a disclaimer here too before you use these products if you the surface of your RV is scratched or it's faded then you really need to use some kind of polish or compound and make sure that you restore the finish first before you use the products that I'm showing it now that today the product that I use is big reveal wash wax all wash wax all is a high quality product that's being used in the airplane industry for decades in fact the company advertises that it's even been used on Air Force One and still being used that way if that is true that's a very high recommendation but along with the product itself what really makes this whole system work for the RV and especially for the full time RV R is another product that that company produces and by the way the name of the company is Aero cosmetics so here is the other product that goes right along with the wash wat backs all product itself this is a pole system and this head is what really makes it work as you can see the head swivels doesn't flop that's important it just swivels which means that it's able to get into the contours of RVs much easier you have a head that allows you to attach to mop heads by velcro one on one side and one opposite one side is labeled wet one side is labeled dry the wet side is where you apply the product to put on to the RV and the dry side is where you remove the product once you have applied it it's really just that simple now let me show you how I use it on my art well I've extended the pole just a little bit as you can notice and by the way the pole extends really easily look at that that's how simple it is to extend this pole and it locks right in position wherever you leave it and then just bring it back down when you're done but I'm going to extend it just a couple of clicks maybe right there I'm going to take my product the wash wax all product and I'm going to apply it once again just like I did in the first video of this series to the microfiber cloth I'm going to prime this cloth here this mop head and that means that it's nice and moist could use a little more but it's not dripping wet don't don't make it oversaturated now once I have it applied to the mop head now I put the product on the RV itself and let it start encapsulating anything that's on the surface there I take my trusty pole system put it on the side kind of anchor the wet side flat against the RV and just do one of these kind of motions right there once I've done with that I turn it to the dry side anchor it and repeat the process and that is as simple as it is it really does work that well and as I said before I can take this pole system and I can go around my diesel pusher motor home in about an hour or less using this and the pole will extend far enough to easily reach to the top of almost any RV now one other point to be made the more often you use this system the better it gets that's because it's not only removing dirt dust and grime and contaminants but at the same time it's leaving a wax behind a form of protection now the wax that it leaves doesn't last an incredibly long time but it does last for a while and it makes the surface really nice and shiny and very slippery so the next time you go back it let's say you do the process again in another week or two well then it's going to be even easier because the surface is very slick at that point well now here's a question can we extend the life of the protection that we've applied to this coach even further and the answer is yes we can do that in the next video of this three-part series I'm going to show you a product that will extend the exterior protection against the elements and against UV damage for up to a year and I think you'll want to see that because that makes it even that much better well I hope you enjoyed this video and hopefully you'll give it a thumbs up and you'll subscribe to my channel that's it for now have safe and happy travels my friends until next time [Music]
