all right we are live hi everyone welcome to another gmat club live youtube session uh today we have a slightly different session for you i know a lot of the sessions in the past have focused on mba programs and mba admits but today we have with us ishita who recently got into the masters in management program at lbs so congratulations before we sort of start um our conversation i just want uh the audience to let us know if they can hear us fine they can see us fine just a quick hygiene mic check and camera check it so if someone can just put in the comments that would be great okay yeah uh looks like we are good to go cool um ishida welcome to gmat club uh thank you so much for taking the time out uh i know you you are you were telling me you were still in the middle of some applications so super nice to have you here um and let's let's start with why don't you tell us something about your background i know you must have heard this question a lot of times by now but for our audience here just go ahead and introduce yourself sure thank you so much warren first of all for interviewing me and i think it's so i believe it will be very beneficial for students who are applying um i am ashita and i come from a little uh unconventional background to start in a business school which is fashion and luxury i'm from a fashion industry i did my bachelor's in national institute of fashion technology bangalore in fashion and lifestyle accessories design i graduated in 2019 i also did a dual degree program at fashion institute of technology in new york so i stayed there for one year stayed there studied and worked so that that's the field i come from i have done internships in uh accessories in luxury brands such as aquatalia global brands group i was working at high design it's so i was working at high design as a lead product designer now it's a luxury uh handbag brands in india so yeah that's about my background that's where i come from awesome um i think as someone who knows very little about fashion this industry always seems very fascinating to me so it's pretty cool i think in my mind i have very cool uh visualizations of how that job would look like yeah very very glamorous on the front end the back end is a little uh hectic i'm sure to be honest yeah awesome awesome so thanks for that introduction um so okay so you you are you know you did your masters or you did your dual degree in fashion and then you've been working on so what made you decide that you want to now go ahead and do a masters in management program and if you could tell us about your plans after you're finished with your master's sure um i think it all started uh when i joined uh my full-time job at high design which was great i honestly didn't think of doing a masters at that time because i at that time in my head it wasn't that i want to do management because i was fully focused in fashion and luxury so i was thinking if i'm gonna do a master's in fashion it's probably better to gain some experience and then go ahead and do because i already knew so i joined high design i worked there but uh while working at high design i realized that you know the design field uh it's very creative and dynamic but it's also very limited so you know most of the work let's just say 30 percent of the design work happens by a designer and the 70 percent of design work actually happens through other departments such as marketing and sales they come and they tell you hey this is the sell through and you have to make a perfect shoe or a perfect bag which has to be like this and because this is what is selling this is the color you have to use so i i felt that you know i do not know everything about the industry uh i don't know every aspect of the industry and i wanted to gain that experience that what is it to like how to know about the sales i didn't want to just sit at the seat and get uh you know order from people that okay you designed this you designed like this i wanted to get a full overall experience so i started uh i mean that's when i actually uh before uh starting for uh studying for uh management i actually left my job beforehand because i knew what the gap was i was very sure of the gap so i knew i had to fill this gap i left my job i started um researching about courses and colleges that's when i came across mim initially my plan was to do luxury brand management because that's that sounded uh you know a very perfect plan for someone who is from the fashion industry but then uh i did not go ahead with that because uh because again if i would have gone into luxury brand management most of the things i would already know and there was nothing new as in financial strategy marketing aspect to learn much from there so i wanted to have a proper core business uh course that's why i started uh researching about mim program um i think i attended a seminar that time coe didn't hit us so we were doing um proper events so i attended an event as a uk event which uh which was about uh universities management masters so that's where i got to know about mim program and i also wanted to orient myself uh in fashion industry not fashion i would say luxury luxury industry so i wanted to go to a place where these kind of industries flourish so i so my goal was to either be in europe say italy france london or or usa for that matter i've been before there so that that's where it all started that's where i started researching about all the min programs and what i can get out of it awesome thanks for sharing that i think it's great to hear that you did a lot of research about what you wanted out of the masters program for our audience i just want to say that we have time today for q a after i finish with my set of questions with ishita so if you have any questions please feel free to post them in the chat and we'll take them during the q a session um so you should have okay so um great so you wanted to do masters in management i think one very common question that we often see on gmat club is people are really confused whether they should go for an mba and what is like a masters in management program so um how did you make that decision uh how did you decide uh between the two yeah so uh very correct that's very true and uh because again mba is a kind of degree when any anyone wants to do a management mba is what comes to their mind you have to do an mba md is the most pronounced degree if if i may say um so uh with mba the issue is so i wanted to do an mba i but if you're going for an mba in a western uh business school in a b school outside india probably or in western location they need work experience now i am early in my career uh let's just say i have 1.5 years of work experience so i would not fit into the mba program of most of the b school let's just say all the top d schools i'm not gonna fit in their program because they need let's just say uh almost five years of experience on average so that was out of option for me so that was actually the point where i was like okay what am i going to do i can't do an mba and i want to do masters what to do that's when i came across mim so the good thing about mim is that it is specially built for early career people individuals who have zero to two years of experience so you may be a fresher right out of college or you may have let's say two years of experience max to max to get into an mim so this seemed like the perfect fit for me that's why i decided that am i another thing is that uh you know in i'm from india so in india if you can do an mba right after college as well for example institutes like iims and isb and a lot of other institutes they do provide mba but i wanted to orient myself in a global position in outside india where again as i said in an industry in india the luxury industry is still developing that's uh that's why i wanted to be outside india where the industry is already there so i can explore more experience more so that's the reason why i went for an mim and i'm glad that such a program is actually very pronounced in such especially in europe got it makes sense makes sense um and could you tell us a little bit about what was your plan of study how did you prepare for gmat how long did it take um yeah okay that was a nightmare in the in in nutshell that was that was the longest and um i think that's where i suffered the most uh most people most people when uh i'm i was on gmat club as well we were together you know uh that uh this is not happening so i'll say uh it took me very long time i started uh researching about colleges in jan end and i started preparing for gmat in jan and or february beginning that's when i realized okay i have to prepare for gmat now i did not know that it's going to be such a difficult journey preparing for gmat and applying to college some people are amazing who just get a good gmat 720 score in one month of preparation not all of us are and that that i realized hard way so i prepared for i i actually gave four attempts at gmac and uh okay so the first attempt i studied it through february and i gave the first attempt in march just that was not an attempt where i was very serious because i see again i'm coming from an industry or from a background which is not quant savvy which is not something which is not a tech background not a finance economics background so i wanted to see if this actually for me the gmat exam so i just gave the first attempt i got a 600 at the time and uh i was not sad because i knew that if i can get a 600 in one month preparation i can prepare more and i can uh get a better score let's i can hit a 700 but that did not happen again uh hey i studied and i i think in the end by in august when i gave my second or third attempt i was at a 660 which is this score um it was disappointing i would say and every i have seen so many people uh you know they hit this low score i wouldn't say it's a low score it's okay score but yeah if you're targeting the dream top d schools you do need a 700 so i know it wasn't the best so um um it was a little disappointing at that time and i didn't know what to do so i thought to myself okay does it mean that i'm not going to be school of my dream does that i mean what am i going to do so that's the time when i actually joined gmat club also after getting that score and the first thing i did was i went to the main chat room told the people so and so is my situation i'm getting such number what to do i would like to say that it was it was a good thing to happen because that is the platform where you sort of have a community sense of community there are if there are people who are getting 750 the people who are getting 600 and everybody's sitting and discussing together nobody is judging you really so that's where i uh but i think uh i think even after these three to four attempts i studied everything every book on gmat every book anybody suggested i studied and the uh the crazy part was i was good at it i wasn't like um not getting the syllabus i was good at it i was able to understand i was not able to score good for some reason i was not able to score good above six above 690 even in mocks 690 or 700. so i mean but that's the thing see if there might be some things which will create hindrance at some point of time and you cannot just sit and say that okay i gave four attempts and i still got a 660 highest so i can't say to myself that okay it's not happening for me it's not meant to be happening for me i mean that's not uh how it happens so i anyways i went ahead and i gave my um the thing the sop and everything i submitted with the 660 score luckily it happened for me um i can talk about the other part like if my gmat if your gmat is low if your academics is low or if your international exposure is low like all are all these things are bullet points for a b school uh if one of these are low how do you actually uh you know work on the other things to to make your profile stronger so i've worked on the other things i think what was uh good was the um essays for lbs they are like 11 essays and i'm not kidding yeah i was gonna come to what happened once you were done with your gmat and you you know got into your application game plan and i think uh it's a very uh i would say it's a very common thing for people to study a lot and not get the score they want and i think by no means 660 is a low score but uh as you said you know the competition is intense people freak out all the time and there are no perfect applicants right everyone's gonna have one thing with the other lacking in their profile um but yeah i think uh let's let's just talk about continue talking about once you were done with your gmat what was your application game plan you sort of knew your strengths and weaknesses so which schools and which programs did you target okay um i knew that i wanted to to target uh hec paris estec business school uh london business school and insead these were the four schools which were dream school for me and these were the full school i want to target now gmat was not happening so i thought okay if it's not happening if it's uh i i was going to target the other schools which were my uh you can say second place on the second year i kept those schools um but so that was my game plan that was what i wanted to do i was taught i also took uh some help with the consultants and uh in fact with the 660 even they were telling me that ishita i don't think it is possible for you to get into your dream schools with this you better start applying to the other schools which you which are on your second uh list and uh but but i have you know never honestly had a plan b for myself all this while even before this i don't want to so i was like you know let's just work on this let's just see where it goes uh because i have seen see uh 700 we say 700 is an average score for lbs or 710 for hec paris yeah so i was like it's an average it's not it's an average that does mean people from lesser gmat also get into the college and from more gmat also get into the college so like let's do this so i i knew that my academic was strong uh i knew that living in living in the states and working there my international exposure was strong i also knew that i bring in diversity since i am from a different uh field and from fashion and luxury field so i knew these were my friends and i could work on that i could uh highlight those things in my port in my profile and make it stronger i did so that's what i did i mean i went ahead and i applied to lbs in second round i could not apply in first round because i was still struggling with gmat it was it was it was very funny though because uh i i got a 660 uh in my third attempt and just one day before the round two deadline of lbs i give one more gmail i'm like just let's try one more maybe 690 and i'll quickly apply because the good thing with lbs is they do not want your official gmat report they want the one they can go ahead and guess what happened i i got a lower score than 660. and so the thing with gmat is that i was very good with my quants i was i usually used to get always 49. my verbal was little which was on 31 or 30. that's the reason i was exploring so this time i scored a very good on verbal not very good but good for me which is 35 and my quant just went back to 44 which i never got even in mocks so that time i thought to myself like what is this why is this happening but then i post myself and i said okay let's just let's just give one school with 660. if it does not happen for me i will give one more gmat and then i'll apply to other schools luckily it happened so i got my uh in interview call uh it was round two so i got my interview called mid uh november i believe yeah mid-november or late november i also applied to insead uh with ins with the same 660 score and i also got an interview called from insead uh i still have my interview uh scheduled next week for that uh i haven't applied to hup and essec after that because i already had two schools going got it awesome yeah i think uh it's it's very interesting to hear your your struggle with gmat if i can say so and then your application and i think uh you were telling us uh maybe for the audience here who don't know a lot about what the min application looks like um could you just walk us through that part of your journey min application is very similar to your mda applications or any uh masters applications uh i'll just quickly i can quickly you know tell you what lds application looked like so for for the uh application you do need to have an english proficiency or test either you have studied your entire four years or three years of graduation in english and you in english language and you do have a certificate which says that you have completed it in english then you do not need a test if you haven't then you need a toefl or an ielts especially uh second thing you need is uh all these essays so there for lds the there were 11 essays um let's just see i'll just quickly tell you what were the core questions of essays uh what they want to know they want to know what is your mim career goal after mim what's your goal they want to know what is your ex what are the extra curricular activities or what is something interesting about you that is very important for every b school we do not realize that a lot of people do not realize that they just say okay i'm i'm a business major i have done i have this academic record but they also look at what we call eq which is a more emotional question they do want to know that you are a person who is good in sports maybe or good in some you know you you're just a person who is an all-round holistic profile with a holistic profile so make sure that that is something you definitely work on probably you have done some volunteering experience some social experience or leadership experience that is again the third thing leadership experience if you have at any point done something which shows your leaders skills leaders leadership skills and that's one thing you need to highlight in your uh essay there's also uh international exposure um it's good to have it if you have it it's a it's a good point you do not need to move out of your home country to have an international exposure that's a very common question that people always ask and that's not what you for example if you're working at a firm and you are working with clients who are from outside uh your home country and you're managing them you're communicating with them that is again an international exposure so if you if you get that experience that is also very good thing to highlight um what else i think they do want to know that um how will the school help you or how will you fit in the school for example if it's lbs how would you fit in lbs so with me uh i'm coming from a fashion industry now how would i fit in a business school uh i'll just tell you what i did i told them that you know london is a place where fashion and business and finance everything happens so perfect location for me a b i the the kind of clubs lbs has for example retail and luxury club the kind of uh electives lbs has such as the brand management thing so you know you need to customize you don't okay you cannot write something which is very obvious you need to very much customize it based on you so that they know that school is going to benefit you and you are going to benefit the school in return uh apart from this will be your essays apart from this you have lor letter of recommendations again very very very important part of the application a lot of people do not uh take it seriously because they think that lor is not in your hand but you have to have a good uh knowledge of the person you are um you know uh getting yellow uh from for example i got one of my lor from my professor in new york uh the edify and i got another one from one of my colleagues at high design now the good part of choosing these two uh people was that a i was bringing you know first of all i i'm not you i'm taking a professor from fit so it does speak about the fact that i have an uh good connection with people outside my i have a multicultural experience plus people are the people i can trust that they are going to say good things or say some good things or properly build things for me um that's very important why before choosing you don't just randomly choose someone and say that okay right make sure that they are willing to go ahead that extra mile for you and do it for you yeah i guess these apart from that one more thing your cv which is very obvious great great i think that's uh that's super helpful uh for those of uh those folks in the audience who didn't know what all it entails and it looks a very uh to an extent a very similar experience to the mba application um but yeah i think uh so you had your gmat and then you were done with your you know you you had your game plan you submitted your application and then you got the interview call so just walk us briefly through what the interview experience was like yeah okay um interview was great uh again there are some very uh core questions uh uh you know after my interview was done i was sort of knowing that this is going to happen now how do you actually know that uh there are some core questions which every business school wants to test you on the interviewer can be either very structured he will ask you questions you answer question answer or he can be very conver conversational with you just you know like call we are having um it does not matter what kind of interview it is the basic thing is they are going to judge you on the core questions which are um how what what is your background like they're going to know what what is your background like where you coming from how are you going to leverage you know the business school you're coming to to your post business goals because they do want people to come who can you know build a community who can build a community after getting out of their business school that's what they're looking for third very important thing which a lot of us do not uh um think it's important is your eq i was talking about like how good are you with people are you able to this was one of the questions my interviewer asked he asked that how uh if you're in a group work if you're doing your group work how what what is the role you're going to play so i told him something then he's like how are you going to manage the group if someone is not working if someone is not responding if how are you going to help that person you know come in the group and work with you it's going to get difficult or how are you going to have manage a group if uh if it's a multinational group people are from different nationalities so that's the thing you know it's such a multinational platform they do want to know that you will be okay with everyone and you won't get a culture shock or you won't be able you you can't take it so that's what they want to know so that is one very important question plus they want to test your marketing knowledge uh for example if i'm from fashion field they want to know if what are your mim goals so if i say my post mim goal is to work for in luxury firms they're going to ask you things related to luxury firm and where do you see yourself what kind of role why that role how it's going to help your your short-term goals your long-term goals basically those kind of questions got it right and i think it looks like you definitely had all of that uh really in the bag because you have your admit to lbs congratulations and what advice would you have for folks who are looking to apply this year to maybe lbsmim or the other masters programs that you mentioned what should they be doing right now and uh it's it's a common fear that oh you know what you mentioned that if i have quote-unquote like a low gmat i should probably just keep walking on gmat but from your experience it does look like you know you can get success if you focus on the other parts of your application um so yeah what advice you'd like to share with others who are here yeah i think one very good point you mentioned is that people when hit low gmat or anything which is low in their profile they keep working towards it to improve it but what is better what is a better thing that you can do when you know you are stuck and there's no way going back for example what will you do if your academics in college are not so great you can't go back and change your academics right but you need to work on the other aspects it's very important because every b school is looking for a very holistic all-round profile strength none of the b-school want just a great gmat or just a good academic person imagine you are someone who is not that great in academic but you are someone who is was done amazing things in sports so try to highlight those points in your profile i would also say plan ahead plan ahead of time because you don't know once once the deadline starts up approaching there are n number of things which are which you are going to do with for example just let's just say lor it looks so simple you simply need to choose two people send them uh the link and will write for you not that easy to coordinate with them and to make sure this do it at the time right time not you know forget doing it and do it for you for four or five different schools not that easy so plan ahead of time do not overthink is one more advice because i saw a lot of i i also went through that phase where i was overthinking too much what will happen if this happens what will happen am i doing it right is it happening for me so i i think and even i see people on gmat club forum also they're over there there's still people who are overthinking and who are you know postponing their gmat exam dates or they are thinking that okay once i did not do good in gmat now i'll apply next year or don't overthink try to work on all the other aspects and give it your best you you don't know maybe as i said that all other aspects of your profile are equally equally important yeah makes sense great thank you so much ishita i think those were like a lot of good pointers and those are the questions that i had for you um i want to again tell our audience that you know we are now taking questions so if you have any questions for ishita if you have any questions about the lbs mim program feel free to shoot them in the chat and we'll start taking those i have one question here from uh with anshi it was it's more about i think the lbs class profile she's asking what's the average age in the class is i am i am good for a person with five years of experience i know you mentioned you were on the lower side of work experience so if you would talk a little bit about the class profile yeah um uh thanks vedanshi for the question um i think the average age profile for mim in any b school especially in europe would be uh 22 years so i i have two years of experience i'm 23 but uh or 23 usually i see people with 22 years of experience in my class right now the admit class so that is the age uh which which is an average age you could all be 20 21 20 24 that is the bracket of age and and for your second question five years of experience i think you should go for an mba not just because it is you can apply for an mba but because mim is really for um early career people people who are who have are either fresher from college or have max to max to 2.5 years of experience so if you're going for a management program mba is the place for you and five years is a good experience for mba so that should be your choice great uh i think we had a similar question from mihika she wanted to know professional experience we already covered that [Music] ishita comes from the field of fashion and she wants to i guess remain in the field of fashion uh for her it's more about career advancement uh we have another question about from saurabh um he's asking what is the situation with opt after mim uh or maybe we can just broaden this up and talk about um recruiting for mim what sort of companies usually come [Music] what what what does the work permits look like in uk yeah um so if i'm talking about uh i'm not sure if since you said opt it sounds a little uh us oriented yeah so i i think you know even i haven't applied to any school in u.s but i know for sure for example schools like cornell michigan and duke these have min programs and i know for sure duke has aligned its mim program with the stem course so the good thing with stem is you get two years or three years of stay after um so that opt it's called two years i think it is so yeah there are in us if you're looking those are your options most colleges are trying to align it with the stem course to have a better uh you know chance of working in the country as of uk the good part with uk is that it has us to international student visa policy now especially for students who are graduating now uh that they have two years of open work uh work visa so after you graduate you have two years to work in uk like like it's very uh there are seven points there are 70 points uh which you have to you know fulfill to be eligible which is very easy it's it's by default you will be able to do that so if you are looking for uk any masters you do you will have two years of work visa with you as for french schools um if you're doing a grand call which is what mim is associated with you again have i guess two years of work work visa permit you'll have to take a permit if you're doing a grand decal you will be able to you'll be eligible for that hec sa escp in cr all of them provide that so these are the places i wanted to look at especially because of good question the work work thing and they do offer you a good working opportunity awesome yeah i think that answers saurop's question um shivam has a question and i think we already talked about this you know mim is you mentioned mim is more for people who don't typically have a lot of work experience international exposure is something that people think they need but it's not really uh you know something that's required so shivam if you want a complete profile evaluation you can go to one of the one of our forums on gmat club and post your detailed profile there i think we'll for the purpose of this conversation we'll not be doing individual profile evaluations uh i'm getting a bunch of questions about your gmat study plan uh and i know we discussed this a little bit but maybe uh you could talk about what kind of resources you use if you if you are comfortable sharing yeah yeah yeah um my gmat study plan okay uh not sure if i'm the best person to say but uh yeah i did go through all of the study resources and all of that so i can say what not to do um i started studying with official guide that is a must everybody even if you go on the forum anybody ask anyone that's the that's though that is the book you need to have the official guide apart from official guide you should also you if you want to practice more official questions there is verbal review and quants review which is also official questions uh i would also say do i did not do this initially i i got a book and i studied offline like through the book and i was doing okay but when i started doing it online it's very very important that you do this it will help you uh you know get a better idea of interface basically so if you do it on online login online and practice the questions online don't practice it on offline from the book uh it's better you practice online because your final exam is going to be online so it will just prepare you with that mindset uh i think while i was doing rc offline i was better with it when i started doing it online it was different studying a book a hardcover hard book a hardcover book is different than studying it on the pc or on the screen so for that reason i think one thing you should do is every question you practice anything you practice try to practice it on the screen online another thing what other resources you can use uh gmat club fordham has answers to all your questions so if you are having uh practicing anything from outside you can always you know type it and you will get the answers that is the reason i also did one thing on the forum if you go to um there are topic-wise very good thing they're topic-wise uh you know uh assembled so for example if you're going into quants let's just say and you know that you're these are the topics you want to cover percentage or ratios or other things so you just go on i used to that i used to go topic wise i used to okay six topics i will cover today i will do 10 questions out of each topic i used to go on topic do 10 random questions or there are difficulty levels also you can choose out of that so you know so there's a structure over there that you know okay now you have done questions of ratio and proportions so you are good with it or you are not that great with it you can evaluate yourself it's very good to practice topic wise that's one thing uh if you want to take marks i think uh official marks are there which you should really go for apart from that this manhattan which is difficult so if you're getting a 700 manhattan don't get all 690 don't get disheartened that's that's that's a good that's a very good score yeah great and thanks for the awesome gmat club plug there i had an amazing experience i also remember the hot competition which happened it changed my whole perspective towards gmat i think you guys should definitely keep doing it great um i have one question here uh from mithesh and uh i know it's it's a very difficult to predict anything that happens now after 2020 um you know but maybe let's let's uh tweak this a little bit and talk about uh does the mim recruiting process happen alongside the mba program at lbs uh do similar recruiters come or is it like a separate process how does it work okay yeah uh thanks mithesh for the question and yeah a little difficult honestly even i am not asking these questions to my my recruitment managers right now they're like we don't but yeah uh we i did talk to a lot of people at lbs uh student ambassadors and people so what happens is that uh the best thing about i can talk from the lbs perspective because i have been involved in that they have a very good career resource center so they are going to help you through every step of your career in fact yesterday itself i was talking to someone when does this start happening the recruitment thing does it start happening right when you join college after you graduate you know last days and the person said starts happening before you join the college it starts happening in july you will start doing they will help you through your cv they will help you through getting so the best so the best part and the very important part of getting a job in uk if you're or any place in any business field is networking networking networking networking is the only thing so at lbs for example they have a lot of companies they have mbbs they have big four and all the other diversified sector companies coming to the campus having their events so you go there you meet people after the events or through the event and that's how you develop uh you know network and there are a lot of events happening that's how you develop your network so one is career center helping you second there is also very good deadline i was talking to this person and the other person was telling for example if you're applying to mbbs there's a deadline that you start doing it in september by december end there is a deadline that you will be done with it ndp applications you will know the result so that is a very set deadline when you are going uh to a business school how to apply or how to get into a job market got it awesome um there's another question from vasundra i think she's asking are there specializations within the lbs mim program um so uh if some schools do provide specialization for example i know in h if you're going to hec paris it's two years program first year you can do your mim and in second year it will be you can you can do masters in finance or or strategy or something so there's a specialization for lbs it's it's elective i would say elective is your specialization so it's only one year program it's very quick one so you have basics of all the management code then you can choose your electives for example if i'm choosing brand management marketing or strategy those are the things i'm going to specialize in so that's how i think i'll put it that's the kind of specialization it happens but in the beginning it's mim only or mfa or mam whatever you program you choose sure great thanks for answering that we are getting a lot of kudos for you by the way in the chat people are very happy congratulating you it's a great achievement um uh don't think we have any other questions pouring in now um so if folks have any questions feel free to shoot now but yeah so um in terms of uh i had one question in terms of your application timelines i think there was a question about about this does a timeline what does the timeline look like is it similar to the mba school processes and does it work the same pretty much similar it starts for lbs it starts very i was very irritated at the time because lbs was the first school which started its timeline september 30th if i'm not wrong was the r1 air deadline but yeah it's mostly september or october there is r1 deadline and then our deadline for lbs was november for other schools mostly it's either december or january for example htc and sec was january first week our three deadline comes after that probably i guess in march and then after that so yeah that's that's the uh deadline i think i also had i would advise that r1 and r2 are the are the rounds which you should go for uh if you think you are uh even 90 percent ready just go for r1 or r2 don't wait till the end it's also because uh i mean there is obviously less probability of you getting in because most of the seats are full uh but also because you get along you know you're done you're free of from your mind if i would not have applied in r2 because my gmat was not that great then i won't have been in that zone i would have even gotten lower and lower okay it's not happening now it will happen in march what will happen just if you think you're there give it your full and go for r1 or r2 got it makes sense i think you you answered a bunch of questions that were coming in about r3 being more competitive what is the best time to apply for lbs i think covered all of that but yeah i think this this was a great conversation uh again thank you so much for taking the time out um uh you already have a bag uh you're interviewing next week for instagram so all the best for that for our um we'll keep doing more of these sessions we'll try to get more uh masters specific sessions in uh keep looking out for gmat club uh youtube channel keep looking out for more live sessions but yeah it was a great having you here rishita thank you so much and if someone wants to reach out to me on gmat club uh i think ishita 27 is my uh username do reach out i try to answer all the pms i get so sure no problem and thank you so much warren for having me here great awesome have a great day you too thank you so much bye
