ready yes po I'm sorry we can't take you be good be good we'll be back soon yeah guys so in today's video I just wanted to talk about am I still in love with Thailand as I was before you know like all these videos I always talk so positively about Thailand some of the most negative comments I get like that I'm overselling Thailand or Thailand's really not that great or that I even get paid by Thailand to make these videos and that I'm like overly harsh and overly negative about America and how my whole perception of America is only based on like New York or like California and I get it you know so in this video I just kind of want to discuss my feelings about Thailand after being here for 3 years and do I still feel the same we got our street food right here this is one of the best things is getting that local frood we are just in Tong right now we're going to walk to a nearby cafe I'm going to get some work done if you're ever in Tong you'll probably see me around here I walk this street every single day you might find me with Thell or find me walking my pug [Music] yeah guys my stomach is killing me right now buy some medicine all right guys going to get this this helps for these this should do the job wa oh you pay for me La wow thank you oh it's just half [Music] [Music] gra take up all right guys we are headed to a planetarium this is going to be our first time there so we'll see you there [Music] all right guys we are here at the science center for Education this is also like a planetarian I think it's like 50 bus to get in it's like a15 I think this looks quite interesting maybe so this is like a educational science-based place for kids what is this [Applause] this is a [Music] proscope yeah [Applause] guys take a look at these uh substances I don't even know if I could show this on YouTube in uh Thailand this is quite popular quite dangerous it's called Yaba and Ice wow but this is all educational purposes this guys this is not a recreational purpose what is in here wow this is actually mad trippy oh wow wow I'm not even lying this is lowkey trippy I feel like the whole room is actually moving wow I actually feel like I'm like super drunk or something yeah this is actually wow so apparently this emulates the effects of being drunk what will happen uh in three month you'll look like that in 3 months oh my gosh Naka that's so extreme I don't know how accurate this is to be honest I I drink quite often I don't think I look okay all right so just got to put our face oh my leg shirt why they kind of tast okay so this is what I look like currently let's see how much your face changes if you are addicted to drugs so this is what it look like now 3 months okay so I have more acne and I have a black eye apparently 6 months I look very tired and I have a lot of acne scars 30 months yeah that's that's pretty extreme but I guess the message is good this is a drug CT skin [Music] P this is going to be 45 butt all right guys we took a little break from the museum got some put check this out guys look at the all the ingredients in here we got the S Pork fish balls and some vegetables wow yeah so as I was saying in this video I wanted to talk about do I still love Thailand as much as I talked about in my previous videos the short answer is yes the long answer is it kind of depends like there's several factors for example if I were to go to Korea right now or Japan I think I would have more of a thrill to be honest I think it would be more exciting and I'd have more things to do and I'd probably not stay in my house as long as I do in Thailand here in Thailand I stay inside a lot you know like I'm not going out popping bottles like going on rooftops doing all these fancy crazy things because it's like my home the reason I enjoy Thailand so much is it's my perfect base as a digital Nomad and as a content creator I just need to have a base that is psychologically and physically safe and I feel like Thailand ticks all those boxes all right let's go ah and try some of this wow so when I was in America I knew I had to leave New York City just because first off it was insanely expensive ensive he not safe I didn't think it that it had that good culture even though New York you can argue it's like a Melting Pot of culture and very diverse which it is true I just feel like the environment and the people very individualistic and very dog eats dog world like everybody's trying to climb to the top I didn't really like that cuz I felt like I was becoming very materialistic very consumerist doing things because I cared about the opinions of others yeah chasing this kind of lifestyle that was not fulfilling and not healthy to be honest here in Thailand I feel like I live my absolute healthiest lifestyle and I have the best mental health I've ever had yeah but when I was in New York City I knew I had to leave but I was like where else am I going to go I was originally born and raised in Georgia and I was like no I don't want to go back to Georgia I don't want to go back to Atlanta cuz I I didn't really like Atlanta to be honest I could go to California but it would be just as expensive I'd have to buy a car I'd have to endure traffic so I was like that's not really an option and then I went to Hawaii and I was like Wow Hawaii is so beautiful it's so peaceful I was like I could live here and the people were so nice the food was so good it was very expensive too I was at a turning point in New York I was like I need to leave New York I was thinking about moving to Hawaii actually but the main reason I didn't go through with it is cuz the cost of living so the cost of living and the environment and the culture are like three biggest factors instead of United States I looked abroad so good so I did a ton of research I was thinking about Korea Philippines Vietnam Thailand CU I wanted to go to Asia partially because I'm Asian you know and I can relate to the culture it' be a different feeling being surrounded by people who kind of look like me whereas all my life I always grown up as a minority you know and to be living in a country where it's dominantly Asian I was like man that that would be kind of nice like I wonder what that feels like Thailand ultimately out because Thailand is Affordable it's quite developed the culture is amazing the people are very nice and it didn't have any major cons there was like no major disadvantages so long story short I came here for a quick holiday I loved it and then I went back to the USA and then I made my decision sold everything in the US said goodbye and I moved out here all by myself 3 years ago now it's been 3 years and the way I live my lifestyle here I'm not on a vacation mode you know I'm not like this tourist I'm not on this like vacation mode where I'm doing exciting things every single day I'm just live my normal life here and I do the things that I would do in America like work go to a cafe work out see PRS I do all that same stuff here in Thailand but the thing is I think all that stuff is just better in Thailand so it's like all the things that I liked about USA I still have them in Thailand you know meeting friends or going out or getting some drinks exploring the city doing some cool stuff like all the stuff that I liked in USA it's just as good here if not better for example The Nightlife it's a lot more fun in my opinion the food tastes a lot better in my opinion the culture and the people it's better in my opinion so my answer will probably always remain the same I love silent it's I feel like it's my home and I've traveled a lot I've traveled to around 15 different countries and there's no other place where I felt like hm I could live here more than Thailand I had a similar feeling with Danang Vietnam and I feel like I could live there if I was older but right now I kind of like the city I like the adventurousness I like the fun of the city whereas Danang was like a coastal city more chill but that was the only other city that came close we are here at the planetarium [Music] okay let's go all right guys just finished with the planetarium uh not going to lie I think we both slept through the uh through the show but my reason was cuz I don't understand everything thing they only had it in tie but you have no excuse we're just going to walk around the neighborhood I actually have to take a call with um somebody he booked a call by the way if any of you are interested in booking a call with me oneon-one just ask me any questions about Thailand or about visas how to move here or anything you can book a one-on-one call with me so yeah I'm about to have this call and I'll probably see you guys all right sto by Swinson going to get some ice cream wow all right guys just finished up the call we are here at Swinson going to celebrate with some sunde ice cream is it good you like it well I am lactose intolerant and I have stomach issues right now I don't know if I can eat this yeah so as I was saying guys like I don't see Thailand as this major vacation or tourist through place for me it's just somewhere I happen to live and it's where I'm based that and I think it's particularly advantageous cuz I like to live like a digital Nomad and travel around to different countries particularly in Asia and if I want to go to Korea it's 4H hour flight if I want to go to Vietnam it's like three four hours if I want to go to puked or Paya it's like pretty accessible so the reason I still think Thailand is her best country is because there's not a lot of compromise I feel like a lot of foreigners who come to thaen for like a vacation like a couple weeks or a month they probably fall in love with it and talk so positively and praise it and I do the same but for me it's not like like I'm living on this lavish vacation and doing all these crazy things every day it's like honestly quite boring I just stay home work go to a cafe do some work go work out walk my dog it's quite chill stuff quite boring stuff I guess and it's stuff that I would do anywhere else in the world it could it's stuff I could do in America I could live this kind of Lifestyle in America as well but being in Thailand I'm just comfortable you know comfortable with the culture comfortable with the lifestyle the cost of living is so much cheaper food is amazing people are great and and I feel like I have everything here I have my friends here I have my girlfriend here I have my dog here so that's why I don't think Thailand will ever wear off on me I think it would wear off on me if I was always seeking to live like a crazy lifestyle where I'm always trying to do a bunch of fun things and if I had that mindset of like trying to seek as much dopamine and pleasure as possible maybe I could get bored in thailands wait what did you just say I think Lily you won the lottery oh my gosh how much how much how much you never won the lottery before Oh My Gosh Don just said she won the lottery like literally as I was talking wait we have yet to find out how much though oh my gosh what if we turn into millionaires right now let's go to Japan if it's wow I'm actually super excited right now oh my God 4,000 4,000 but yes oh my God pretty good wow 4,000 I buy this one 1 15634 so how do we get the money I don't know really it let me ask my mom and going just won 4,000 but it's like 12 bucks it's not bad wow you have to pay taxes on the money pay taxes yeah maybe 1% 1% yeah oh my gosh 1% tax in America they text you like 40% or [Music] [Music] something what about me papa turn around turn around turn around sit stand up lay down give me a hand lay down lay down stay stay [Music] stay stay stay Stay Stay Stay Stay Stay good girl good girl all right guys I'm here in eamay I'm here at my friend's condo we're about to do an interview if you want to check out the interview it's hosted by One Night in Bangkok that's the name of the interview it's like pretty much a podcast so about to do this quick little podcast should be good hey you want to do a little intro yeah so Paul just arrived for his only fans casting let's go inside yeah let's go inside let's do a sneak peek wow this is legit take a look at this guys converted the whole studio into a very professional podcast setup oh nice what makes it cool is the lighting without the lighting it just looks like an apartment yeah so put some strategic pink lights around and you've got a party all right guys it is currently the next day just finished that podcast check it out it's called One Night in Bangkok but yeah I just wanted to finish this video off by saying I don't think I'm going to get tired of Thailand anytime soon I think if you're the type of person who come to Thailand and live like a very exciting lifestyle such as like going to bars trying to get as many girls as possible and living this kind of like high dopamine kind of nihilistic lifestyle I think you could maybe get fed up with it but like I said in this video I just live my my ordinary life here and it happens to have all of my needs met so I hope you guys enjoyed this video
