crafting um since july 2019 i started my first new vid my first no i started crafting around june got that cricket and then my first video on youtube was july 2019 so i've been crafting and been throwing these videos out i was monetized a month after that two months after that i just love crafting love teaching and believe me none of this stuff that i've done on youtube i didn't know this stuff i did i did not even craft before um 2019 i was well i was writing books i did write books i did do jewelry so i do have an amazon page um charmaine galloway if you want to see my novels i write started doing it up i seen that qriket i'm like oh let me learn how to do that qriket and i didn't know nothing about cricket okay i was looking at youtube videos that's how i learned everything youtube videos okay oh i am young girl hey you better i'm 40 how old am i i'm 42. be 40 hmm i would grab a holiday i'll be 42 in june um so i've been crafting it up for um since july of 2019 and i'm loving it y'all i love learning i love when i learn i teach y'all so i love it um but i started with the embroidery and sewing right before the pandemic my daughter told me she was um pregnant and i was like oh she had my first my first grand baby she was having a girl and i said i'm about to make all her clothes so i went and bought the embroidery machine the first machine i bought was the um the brother let me see what is it 620 i might want to get some paper and pencil cause i like to talk a lot and i can write stuff down i won't be repeating myself so let me go ahead and give y'all a minute to go get some paper and pen so you can write this i'm gonna give a lot of information away um usually when i always get on live i always tell you all the plugs and stuff where i get my stuff from but today i'm going to be just talking about the embroidery so i'm going to be here on so long i got some work to do i got patches dude i got like 25 patches to do that need to be done tomorrow i got some of them done i got a couple more to do so um i got to um get it done y'all so yes i'm gonna show y'all the machines in a minute well i could turn this my little thing around if y'all see that machine right here get that one right there you can see it um i could point at it in the camera or maybe not i'm looking on my computer can you still hear me okay this machine right here is the um brother s e 625 okay okay this is the first machine i bought forget my mannequin my this is my conviction oven and i do my tumblers in my wine cooler yeah yeah i got a lot of stuff going on kid okay so this is where i first started off and this is the biggest hoop okay this is the biggest hoop but i bought this because i didn't know if i was going to be if i was going to like embroidery or not so i got this because i just wanted to check it out and if i didn't like it i was going to go ahead and um still use that soil machine okay this is my first one this is again it's the pe 625 this is the biggest hoop that you can have and this is okay for if you're doing patches and then like little infant shirts a little little little images okay so this is big enough for that like i did all my patches on this um recently i've been doing practices and this is a good size for patches okay and like small little seminars you can put on shirts on like let me show you see this right here this image right here but not it's too big for this okay it's too big so it's gonna be really tiny if you use this four by four hoop it's gonna be really really really tiny okay so if you want to start off with this that's good but if you want to do big things you might want to not even get this one okay but i got it because of the sewing machine on it too so i'm like oh cool i ain't going to be losing all of it if i don't like it but i've been working with this because i've been doing like i had all these patches i'm doing right now excuse my mess like i said i've been doing these patches and i've been putting i've been using all three of my machines okay so that's why um it's cool if you want it you can still use it but i've been doing patches y'all i've been doing patches this is for my um he won like 26 of them six six each of these patches so i had all machines running i got a couple more of these to do okay so i'm i'm doing these and i had all machines all my machines was running okay so yeah don't don't judge me yeah i have my i'm using my dang gone heat press for my to prep everything because i like the way it's tall and it fits me and then i have my table here it's too low so i use my heat press for um prep and stuff yeah but i make sure i um cover it up and everything under there is all kind of messed y'all you know i kind of miss i got my um easy presses my arm oh my my stuff that i use my pack my my um orders in also my other easy press over here i'm using it as a stand too my ring light but yeah it's not going on okay so this is the first one i got okay and then like a week later i got the pe 800 everybody want to know what you want to get which one to get to start off with i think you should get the pd800 the biggest hoop for that one is the 5x7 which is this one right here this is the hoop right here five by seven um this words these were this still was not in the five by seven hoop this is a six by nine hoop but this five by seven get you get you right this would be a little bit smaller okay a little bit about about this much it'll be about because it only it don't come all the way the words will come all the way over here it comes out right here okay so you'll be probably get about this much okay so this is the 5x7 this is the biggest for that who um machine but that machine comes with this hoop it comes with the four by um four hoops come with the four by fours i just showed you this one right here so it comes with these two hoops and they come with the smaller hoops too okay like a small hoop so that's what you get for that okay this is the pe 800 and yes i got both of these from walmart i got this one from walmart pe 800 from walmart and i got this one from walmart before the pandemic so it was cheaper okay i didn't even know what my had embroidery machines but i was just looking searching and i found them okay it was on i googled them okay this is the big boy over here let me see if you can see that sorry i can't see your questions right now because i'm just trying to show you out and i can answer your questions in a minute so just hold your questions okay hold your questions until i can see them because i'm gonna miss them um this is the big one this is the um a nq 1600 i hope you all can see everything let me see what's the hope y'all can see everything but yes the um the big boy this right here is let me show y'all who this one comes with this is the hoop right here and this is the one i did this shirt with and see how big but see how it don't how it don't go all the way all the way over i don't think i think i didn't make it that big but you'll probably go over a little bit more okay so this is the big hoop okay and then i don't like it because if you got something this long i just don't like the shape of it if it was like six by six or eight by eight it's just awkward but it's cool but um if you have a if you have an image that's like wider that you want to go wider you can't do with this one either so it's kind of awkward but you can still get stuff done a lot of words and stuff done or you can do onesies and stuff like that kid shirts but if you're doing a dark shirt going this way it's going to be kind of short unless you have like a um a skinny picture but you can't know why picture what i'm saying unless you go this way okay but then if you have somebody standing up straight you can't go this way i'm just trying to show you uh what i'm trying to talk about you can't do if you have somebody extended a long picture going this way it's gonna be this short but if you have words it'll be this long so this is six by ten okay six by 10 is the biggest hoop but this machine also comes with the five by seven and the four by four and just some force and some smaller hoops too okay this hole this machine right here it cuts the um jump strings i like that the thread the jump strid i like that it's got a bigger screen also let me see if i can bring this up some more everything so see i got a big screen on here okay i just finished my embroidery so that's what that's what i was just doing it's hard to do this guy can i switch my phone over when we on youtube i cannot switch the phone over it won't let me let me see oh i guess you do oh okay then okay good okay so this is the um bigger screen and and this is compared to the p800 it's the smaller screen okay but i got my pe 800 i have no problems with this one um this is a this is the beast right here this is the beast but like i said i wish that it would come with bigger um hoops this right here is the beast this right here i had problems with it when i first got it the nail i mean the um the um needle kept on breaking and stuff and i was having problems to take it to the shop but i got warranties so they fixed it but still i still be having a little bit of problems with this but lately i've been it's been going okay because i've been learning how to work it but um this one i like this one because i don't got to worry about cutting the stitch um it's easy they all three at the same because they are brother machines or three of them three at the same they are brother machines so yeah here's all my thread and then y'all last week i bought me a tone machine because i'm glad i did because i'm about to start making blankets and stuff and um and stuff for for babies and stuff i'm gonna let y'all know why in a minute but this is my new machine i just bought this a couple weeks ago and i got i mean last week y'all and i got it because i love brothers so i got that and i got on while these are running i can go ahead and sew up something else because i wasn't going to use double sewing machine but i still use it as a broader machine so i'm glad i'm going to go ahead and get this so i can go ahead and get it so i can go ahead and get it but my new baby coming it's going to be a brother's six um needle machine i got my little mighty hoops you don't know about mighty hoops these mighty hoops are the bomb i don't know i never use them but i just see the bomb but they're better than hooping with these kind of machines they're better than hooping like attaching it to the machine you can this is easier and i will get my machine i will show you how that works when i get it it should be coming in the end of this month okay so this is my space for my um machine i'll have to move this over and put my big machine right here so this is all my um my little sewing area over here my big thread and my everything i need i got all kind of i got totes and totes of fabric yeah i ain't been using it but i'm gonna start using it okay so let me get back on here let's see now any questions and before i start embroidering but before that let me tell y'all what i'm doing um as you all know my daughter had a um baby i mean she i had a stillborn and i'm in i'm in the process like i said i bought all this stuff because i wanted to make her clothes but now um her birthday was last week she had been one years old and i said i can't make her any clothes i'm gonna start i'm gonna open my own boutique for clothing so i'm gonna have another online boutique that's why i had shared that comment that i wanted to know um if you feel like spotify's because i etsy is cool but i want to go to another platform so i'm thinking about doing spotify so with that being said i need help i want somebody to help me find the name for my website if you give me a name today if you put a name on here that i choose a name i will give you a free i'm gonna i will contact you and let you know if you're into embroidery if you're into sublimation i would send you some stuff like a um a care package if you call it or just a lot of supplies with whatever your um your um whatever your crafting your number one crafting is because look i got a whole warehouse up in here so believe me i got enough to give away okay so if you like i said you something if he's like you say you get if you pick a name that i like merch shirt like a shirt that i can that i can sell that's that's hers you know with her night you don't gotta be her name but just a nice title like little blessings or whatever and i can just embroider it and then change the font change of color so if you can help me i might pick two people one person pick the name for my um business help me pick the name from business then the second one help me find a nice not a logo but a nice um i can't think of the word a merch shirt for her so they can symbolize the business and i can just change the font change the color but to keep that same meaning or same f the same word on all the shirts and stuff like that what's that call y'all when i'm trying to advertise the brand branding i'm trying to brand my angel boutique that's cute but i really want her name in it her name is so beautiful and i just want people to and i'm doing some people remember her name she was still born but she was still she was born still okay she was stillborn but um i just want people to remember her name and i just love her name so i would angel tick is cute but i really want her name in it so um oh red sunshine you gotta cry okay i'm gonna keep on looking oh my god i would call my daughter she could be on here because i wanted her to help me too but she didn't answer her phone so sheila are you on here i hope you're on here i want to text her so she helped me out but um and she's into my daughter she's after this happened she's been really we've been really all been really going bonkers but she's also she started her little business she'd make a lot of wood signs and stuff so she might she's gonna um she does a lot of good things with the wood and stuff hernan hers is called um shades design on facebook so i'm trying to incorporate her wood sign she could do like baby announcements and stuff and on this boutique different things for the nursery and stuff like that so um yeah we're trying to get together so we can just we're trying to find something different just so we can remember her but also you know it's hard it's very hard y'all know i talk about it so much let me stop if i get all choked up but i'm gonna look at it i'm embroidery and i'm vinyl i'm gonna do blankets baby blankies i'm gonna do um what am i listed i had stuff so i could show you how to tell what i'm doing so i can be able to get it um so you can understand the um shorts for the babies the bloomers or whatever it's called i'm gonna learn how to sew those so that i'm so i'm again i'm gonna get it together what they called they're so cute i had a whole list of stuff on here i got my little notebook i'm keeping my little notebooks um uh birthday shirts jean outfits the jean jackets the jean skirts that match the burst announcements the onesies the blankets the crib hats the um matching bib with the um crib hats the converse shoes with the um the bling on it with the little patches on it um the little bummies the bummies with the headbands that match and the um long sleeve onesies so i'm gonna do some stuff like that for her for her site do the rumper things yes or writer's gifts okay so i'm gonna keep on letting y'all go ahead and do that and i will choose somebody and i will let you know who i'm gonna try to choose y'all before i leave the um before i leave the able livestream let y'all know what everyone pops up you know okay and also i need like i said something don't go in her shirt on a shirt that i can just um advertise and sell and like you know some people say like fubu like fubu and uh carl can i or tommy i want something nice on a shirt that i can put on there um it could be different from her name it could be different from the um the boutique name but i thought something that can that like bless the little blessings or something like that so i can people know that this is coming from a blessing um and i was thinking like little anxious because he's he's angels in um in heaven but then i'm giving these clothes to the angels on earth so i don't know i've just been bro just trying to think of something okay so her name is ariah oh let me see uh write it down right because i'm my expert name aria nicole ray and she has my middle name my name is middle name is nicole okay it's just how he's getting out of here okay so let me go ahead and um start just i'm gonna go back and look at the um can't go on my phone and text her but okay oh any questions let's start off with the questions for the embroidery before i start embroidering i'm gonna do a small patch i already got the hawk because with these machines you have to change the thread um a lot so i got a uh uh oh my god i'm a ton twisted i got it um a passion i'm gonna do that's just two colors so i'm gonna change it there that's the only thing i hate about these machines you got to change the thread every time you change the color you gotta change the thread okay but with my other machine you know everybody because it's six needles so you want the six different threads going and you gotta worry about changing until you get to the seven color okay so do you have the patches in your store yes i have the patches in my etsy store it's charming gal boutique i mean charming guy boutique number two in my etsy store put that down charming gal boutique number two all one word that's right there in um on etsy like i said i'm gonna do another i'm gonna do a spotify for her and i'm gonna change it to um heavy i got some good work get good good names okay so i'm going to show y'all a few of my patches that i've already done y'all probably seen a few on my page if y'all on my um facebook group i did all these on the one needle machine y'all money the machine so if y'all looking to buying these they're all on my etsy page charming boutique too i love doing embroidery i love doing patches look at this this is called an applicate okay applications where you can incorporate fabric into your um design this right here is fabric so i love that i love applique i can do so much with the embroidery i love this look at the skin tone this skin tone up there be popping this right here i kind of messed up a little bit i'm gonna do that one over this is also called applique this is all this is like a fabric right here i have a video do you have a video applique i do have videos on some of my embroidery so if you look at have simulations back here too but these are smaller i do the um bracelets i do the um bangos i'm looking around and see what i do like everything around here t-shirts reefs the afrodiva reefs this is a bigfoot y'all just i did this to see how big it'd be this is a six six by ten hoop i just wanna see how big it'd be that's a bigfoot this is also epic now if you if i miss your comments i'm not right now i ain't put this stuff behind it it's perfect because i got this behind it but this is a blue jean fabric okay dude you could use a couple of different fabrics when you um embroidering okay this is another applique check out applicator on facebook on youtube to tell you what it is and how you do it applique i don't think i do have a video applique check that out um look at this one this do not digitize myself i go to fiverr.com go to fiverr.com and check out um just go to looking for a digitizer and you find one that's best for you um and just pay them and they'll digitize them for said um are those are from the pe 800 the big ones are not from the p800 the big big ones like for instance the one i said it was six by ten that's the one that's not from the p this one not this is too big okay this one not from the p on p800 and this one is not but the rest of them are y'all cuz the p800 go to a 5x7 let me show y'all how big a five by seven hoop is so y'all get an idea because the big this big baby right here this is 1400 okay it's about 1400 the pe 800 is only 800 that's when it was um before the corona okay before the um everything was going down so i don't know how much it is now then a small one over there it's like 400 okay maybe 600 i don't know before between 400 600. the big one was 14. this and like i said um so the bigger one let me see let me show y'all a patch you could do in a in the five i said this like this probably a five by seven yeah this is a five by seven i believe let me see yeah this is a 5x7 who but it won't be right i don't think no but this is probably the big one it won't be this b because see it won't be this big it'll be a little bit smaller because they do not go from from um hoop to hoo it won't go to side side so it'll be a tiny bit smaller than this okay then this image because i probably did this on my big one but it won't be that much that might be that much smaller okay but this is the hoop right here and this is the image a little bit tiny a tiny tiny bit like one inch off okay this is how big you can get from the fight this is the kind of patch you can get with that but you can also have a four by four hoop with that machine and you can get smaller smaller patches like this this is like this i got i did this in a four by four by four these are all four by four okay but the 4x4 is still a nice size patch y'all it's a nice sized patch trying to show you how the small ones this is a 5x7 i'm trying to get y'all so i can see what size it says but okay let me make sure it's the size i want to get but if you want to get big big big patches you gotta get that um eight by ten or you get a six meter i'll get a six needle because um chickens are kind of expensive though but it's so worth it y'all it's so worth it if i wish i could have this is a five by three five by seven so okay so most of these are down let me tell you what material i use you're gonna ask that um these are um once i'm done with teal teal fabric you can do a tail fabric from hobby lobby you get it online so just google teal fabric foot um embroidery patches is different kind of teal so um also a lot of them are done with um felt felt okay and then someone was done with jean fabric any fabric that does not stretch felt do not um what's it called it don't um you think the word right now but it don't um you know what i'm talking about the string doesn't um tell me the word y'all not but um he's hiding here i'm gonna take the sweatshirt off fray thank you fray i know y'all tell me the um fail does not fray okay do not get the craft frame like the sheet spray cause they will milk get the fray i mean get the fray get the um felt that's um on the road in the bark you can get this from joanne fabrics michael's hobby lobby get him to get the one that's on the ball okay this is filled and usually i get to fill the color that i'm gonna use the border most of my borders are either black or red or if they want white then i get the white um felt but i use black and red most of the time so i got a whole lot of that so i could be able to do these patches and as you can see let me show y'all both of these are black see how it's saying the border the outline is black if you use white you'll be able to see why it's gonna be hard for you to get all that white when you're cutting it so just use whatever border it is make sure you use that and when you um use that color and when you get your um if you do get some done digitized make sure they put a satin stitch around it so it can be a thick border because if you have a border on it it won't you won't be able to cut it okay so that's why i learned that when they digitized this this was digitized for me and i tell them to put a satin stitch around it so i better cut it see that nice border so it could be a patch um i had some done that wasn't cool and i had to do it over again so just make sure you have that done so you can be able to cut it out as a patch okay let me try to see what i was about to say um like this one right here this is not really considered a patch because you don't have a border around it i went out to have them digitize this i told them to just um digitize it i was gonna just put on jacket i was doing patches back then so now um i'm doing i'm gonna have to do it over but there's no butter right here so if i get a black fabric i can just make the um i cut it as a border but it's better to get the satin stitch around it see how they don't look too good but um i'm gonna have to do this one over so um it's good to have a border and see the border that's the color paper you want that's the color um see this is a gold border and i have i use black if i were to use gold it would be able to go it would much better but some people don't mind that black outline okay it's still it's still good cause she got black in her in her um image but um yeah she got the black right here too so it just depends on how you like it okay so i can cut that little bit closer though but you don't want to cut the stitch i'm just trying to get a little bit of examples or whatever tie digitizing is when somebody said explain the digitizing digitizing is when you have an svg or a png and you have to turn it into pes you cannot for the brother machines they are pes files like using svg files for um for cricket for the brother and word machine it's pes files okay so i have to get these digitized um into a ps file they have a lot of ps files on you um on etsy so when you're looking for embroidery files right now instead of getting digitized just go on etsy and say um search for ps files or embroidery cut files for machine embroidery okay if you have a brother if you have any other machines i don't know they have d s d different kind of different kind of letters but i know i do a ps for my computer for my printer for mines okay who do i dig when i go through did you say this i let me slow down sorry man slow down i go through fiverr.com i don't wanna tell y'all who i go through because i don't want you to go through them and they're like oh you don't like the way they work i got my own person at fiverr do your research go on fiverr and and google digitizer okay check out their work check out what they're doing how they like how you like it or whatever and you go with them okay the prices are different some people start at five dollars depending on how they do a good job they go up a little bit but if they do if you pick one that you like and you keep on going with them they probably get a discount okay so um i have three of them okay because i want stuff done like she's busy i'm gonna do this one do this one so i got three of them so go and search please go search i don't want to tell y'all who i go to because i can't answer your questions until i'm unless i'm looking at the doggone thing what stabilizer okay i use the cutter white stabilizer let me show you that right now no i'm sorry i use the i use the um you can use whatever you want but i use the um tearaway i'm sorry these little strips right here these are good enough to fit big enough to put in the four by four everything on amazon if you want to know the links to all this stuff go to my last video i just did on patches uh how i um how i uh put the pads on my jacket go to that video on my web on my youtube channel all of my links are under that video i can't put our links right here because i'm doing this video so go to that video under that video you'll see all the links to everything i'm using today okay all the links are there okay so this is what i use this is a tear weight stabilizer um tear away stabilizer is better to use than cut away because after you're done you just tear it off okay they come off clean but if you have the um this is the back of the patch if you have the cutaway it's gonna be you could you could use a cutaway i still use the clay because i just cut it off okay so it's up to you how you want to do it cut away our tear away cut tear away it's easier to cut off um to tear away but if you get a dense um if you go if you have a dense um image that you have a lot of thread you might want to use a cutaway so it can be able to be stable because the the um the cutaway is thicker than the tear away okay so depends on what your image is but on all these i use tearaway because it was easier for me to use um even i did it on this without a thread and it still looked good i used it terribly on this okay so what i do is i take the um let me let me bring over here try to get everything set up before y'all got here okay so what i do is here's my um hoop 4x4 hoop i'm using the um pe 800s i go ahead and hoop it put the um go ahead and put the stabilizer in and with these on the magnetic hoop is what you're gonna do is go like this put it out and it'll work but these you gotta do all this turning and twisting and they do have magnetic hoops for um the um pe 800 now um you can go to look at some videos i was looking at some videos other day about those they're pretty cool some people say they okay some people say they don't work or whatever but let me show you one more thing to let me tighten this up this is a little thing like you tighten this up right here so you can stabilize it can be tight in there i don't know why i'm talking a little faster now i'm gonna do my videos i talk fast but i don't know since i know y'all watching me i'm getting all excited and stuff so this is the tearaway i'm putting on here tighten up a little bit make sure you hear that jump drum sound let me tell you that one more thing this is called the repositional hoop okay this is a five uh is it five by twelve five by le i don't know five it's called the repositional hoop okay you can get this whole extra on amazon i have a link for that too on my page you can use this hoop for um for the pe 800 okay this is the who this is the hoop that i use for my other machine okay sorry this is why you smell the machine which fit this whole work this is a repositional hoop for the um p800 but yes it's a trick to this okay it's a trick to using this big hoop you cannot hoop these all these words unless you cut it because it's so stupid why would you why wouldn't they just let you go ahead and get with why can't they should be good just go ahead and use this whole thing for the p800 they can't let me show y'all let me show you how let me show you what i'm saying hold on let me see if i can find the image i did okay i think this is the one i used okay this right here i used this image i did this image in this thing and this um it's called a repositional hoop okay this is like too bright let me see yeah okay is that better excuse this this is i just put down what pop this is what you saw wasn't hobby lobby this is the size of this um hoop okay but look y'all the crazy thing about it you cannot do both of these things in this hoop you can't you can't it's crazy you have to do this part right here do the face cause i just was playing with this a long time ago i did this a long time ago but i will do a video on this because i'm going to be doing some um sample shirts even though i could do it on my big machine with this hoop right here i'm gonna do my my p800 so i can show y'all how it looks how to do it so i'm gonna do a separate shirts and i wanna and it's gonna be it's gonna be a birthday shirt and i need to have it like a big number right here get a name down here and you cannot do that with a five i said because it's too small that you do an infant you can do an infant shirt for a 5x7 but if you want to do a bigger shirt a repositional shirt hoop is okay if you don't have the money for the bigger machines okay so this is the repositional hoop for the pe 800 but the trick is you have to do this whole design right here right and then when you get done with this design you got to up you got to go to your screen again and upload this with this um design move your hoop down you see these clamps right here these two the top one right so you put your thing on the machine at the top and then when you get done with this face you got to move take this down and then move it to the bottom to put these words in here i know it talks about that but do you understand what i'm saying you got to move the whole hoop so you could do this in this in um on the same on the same material but you just got to change the position of it that's why it's called reposition the hoop you got to change the position of the hoop to do this whole image you can't just have it one go around and just do all at one time you gotta change the position now change the um the fabric just change the position of the hoop okay this video is out there to show you how to do it but i'm gonna do one too so let me know if you want to see a video on how to do this um i'm gonna do a birthday shirt okay so let me know thumbs up or respond comment if you want to see me do a video of how to use the repositional who pe 800 yes um you have to use to do the repositional you have to have software because i use the um essential software i love it it's with the essentials i love essentials okay so that's what i use and um you have to put these images um you wicked you cannot put these images together because they are two different files because the hoop is not big enough so you got to do this in one image save it put it into your machine then do this image save it and put in a machine and then when you're done with this image you got to close this image out and then open this image got it it's a lot y'all it's a lot but it works but if y'all can't want that dope can't have can't buy the other machine it works y'all it works but it's just some more it's a couple more steps you got to do to get them shirts together okay so like i said it's almost the same it's the same size no it's a five i think it's five by twelve it's six by 10 okay so but it'll do it would do just a little bit wider this is the one for my bigger machine it's six by twelve and this is a five bite six by ten five by twelve okay p e 800 this is the bigger machine okay this hoop did not come with it okay do not come with the p800 you got to get this off amazon it's called the repositional hoop for pe 800. okay any questions about that before i go the on coming on here let me see let me check your comments oh here they go you had a p800 have you ever used this denise positional hoop all the comments coming up or just coming up one by one i know y'all doing more than that but anyway those are the hoops right there let me finish showing y'all okay um so this is how i um i go ahead and um i put my my stabilizer in here just to cut away you could use cut away or tear it like i said the cut away is better when you have dense designs you won't go through this machine this the on paper or you can use two of them at the same time so it won't tear because it will tear if the stitching is too deep okay okay so then i do that and then i find my own fabric i need like i said i used to fill it a lot okay so i'm doing hawk hawk is green but i'm going to use some black and then um i just cut a piece off right here but i already have a piece already but this might not be big enough for hulk i'm gonna just cut a bigger piece cuz these are already measured for my uh my little one's already doing so i'm gonna leave that there see how thick this is this this is the woven wool felt okay and i have a little diagram i use 4x4 hoops so i can just use this little template i use and i cut out my um things i have a different i have one for the 6x9 and i went for five by seven so i gotta worry about messing up fabric i just use this as the template and cut around it have it on my little stand see i told you i'll use my presses for my stands y'all i like it because it's high up the tables are too low and it's right at my level but i do cover it up so it won't mess up so let me go ahead and cut this real quick and get this on and get it started so we can get this video over because i got work to do and i hope i can be up y'all gonna be able to hear me while this machine is going because they are kind of loud so hopefully y'all can hear me i am getting the microphone i just ordered microphone on the sc that's he's my best friend making me broke so then i have this okay this is the felt and i make sure i put it in here but if you're doing some other designs you want to be the middle you use this little diagram to mark your center but since it's a patch you don't have to be the middle but i'm doing something else i want the middle to use a little diagram you basically put a you mark it a little mark right here mark right here mark right here and then you draw the lines on your paper and um it'll make you the center point which is right here the center point be right in the middle let me show you really quickly what i'm doing just to give you an example of how it looks when you're doing this but for patches you don't have to have a center so see how this is the plastic it comes with all these come with these little diagrams which is wonderful y'all especially doing shirts and stuff so you just put a mark right here mark right here mark right here hope that pen is working let me do it i'm gonna put it down just trying even though i got videos on this y'all i'm sure y'all put this inside here with the um with the stabilizer okay but i the same fabric i don't um hoop it i float it so that it me you put it right on top just like that okay i'm spitting okay so what i need to do first is use this 505 temporary spray i love this it's better i have some more sprays that i use amazon but i like this 505 spray so what you do is shake it up and then you spray up you see how this is dirty that's not cause i'm a dirty person but it's a spray so please forgive my dirtiness it's hard to come off okay but i don't mind because it's there it's not it's it's um it's there now or you can use a stip sticky stabilizer and i have some of that sticky stabilizer but i don't want these on my patches because i really use that on my shirts because patches are so easy to do and they won't really move and use the spray but i do have a sticker stabilizer i got it from amazon too so check out my all my links under my my video that i'll tell y'all my video or that video i did on embroidery check that out all the links are below the amazon link so i do get a service in this if you buy off of that so that helped my channel so i can buy more things check out that video it's i click on it and this um this is the file and this is the um batman file and this is a applicator because you can put fabric in here see how the inside is no thread inside it's called applique right here say application so that mean uh it have one stitch let me show you these are different colors right here so you put that yellow down first well i don't know why yellow here is not there it's not showing on here but you put that down for your you'll still take down stitch then you put the gray down and you put your fabric down then you put the black down and it and then stretch it to stitch all the stitch all this style so it's different kind of steps to do when you do after k application means i can put fabric on here so instead of being threaded behind here is going to be fabric behind here okay this applique this is how it looks for applique so let me show you how it looks without applique okay let me go ahead and get uh file opens open up another screen maybe not recent i'm going to find something that's not applicable so i can see what it is and i'm going on because i don't want to be on here all day um let me find one of my own i'm doing michelle she's not applique i haven't colors all together okay so when i do stuff y'all when i do stuff for my my own customers i write this stuff down i write down what color green i use and now you and i and i just write down how i mean stitches how long it's going to take and how many colors and also write down the size too okay because if somebody want this patch i want to make it this exact same way i made it where they see because basically the ones i make i make it to every advertise i make it again for my customers i can be able to have that every time i just take a picture of it on etsy and then i just leave that up there and i sell that one but i know what colors i use because i wrote it down okay so let's go ahead and get the green color i'm gonna be using i'm going to be using my dark dark green i know i had a dark green oh using it for my little my little pack i'm doing this patch i gotta get these done so i gotta put this color to this patch i'm gonna use this green and i'm gonna use a lighter green that's too late i think that's too light i think that's too late i don't have the embroidery planner i make my own planner okay i get a notebook and i write everything now in my notebook so nope i don't have the planner i just like to do it because sometimes i i just like to have a piece of paper handy and i just do it i mean i know about the planners and stuff but i might not use it i just use paper and i know what i need to write down let you know what i write down too um no this color is two the same color no that's not that's like a blue color i'm just gonna go ahead and use these two which i think so this is too light yeah which i'm gonna use these two okay i'm going to open that one up do i need the greens oh i've got more greens over here these two would be cute cool do y'all think or just too light what y'all think say yes to use them or no to change because i only need the the green is the face then i need the green for the outline for his face so i'm gonna do dog on it i don't like that green okay i'm gonna just go ahead and do it i don't care hawke's hawk i'm gonna do the dark green for the shoot this supposed to be just like this supposed to be the light green this would be his face right here i'm about to get a darker green but i don't know what i do okay i'm about to use these two that's that green is too light okay let me put my camera back down so i can show you how to thread this machine i'm going to use the same darn colors it's going to be too light but so it's gonna be okay cause i don't care i'm hungry so i'm gonna do this color for the face it's gonna be a light green that's too light because i can't use i was gonna use this for the face but i can't find no darker forget it hold on y'all sorry should've got these together before i've gone live so come use the one that's already open it'll be all right i think i'm just going to use this to be lighter this kiss is the part gonna be lighter and then supposed to be would be darker but it'd be all right okay so i'm just taking this and what i use y'all let me show y'all these are my big threads when i use these big spoiler threads i use this thing right here i don't know it's called a spool uh thread holder i guess i don't know maybe i'm using the wrong word but i love these because it holds the flavor if you don't have one of these you can use a cup okay you use a coffee mug but i just got to be extra sometimes i bought two of these i got one for my machine both for these machines and i got a cup for my small machine i just use the old cup that i messed up sublimation i just put and i put the thread in there and then you just thread it from that okay if you're using the big spools if you use a small spool you just use it the regular way so i take the thread put it right here and then it has numbers on where to go okay so it has one right here two right here then you go down so you'll be one two and you go over down three four up then you go five number five right here you gotta put this thread behind this little lever right here so it can catch it kind of tricky sometimes you gotta really pull it in there pull in there okay it's in there then you go up here so you can cut the thread that's seven then it's eight right here cut the thread you cut thread yeah then you pull it through right here and then we got it we got it y'all we got it so this is gonna be his face as you see right here it tells you it's gonna be doing his face right here okay and then you just push uh you put your lever down this foot p800 you put the lever down right here let me show you it's back here in the back of the machine you put your hand down here and just pull it down it's a little level right here just put it down and now when it's green it's ready to go and i thought i had a basin stitch on here too and usually i put a basic stitch on here it's in the machine it's a square and i don't know why it's not showing me why it's not showing it so much so the fabric won't move but it's cool because i just do it just to make sure i'm cool but i got the um spray on there but i just learned that about this basic spray like last week and i mean they're based in um stitch last week and i'm so i love it because you're gonna make sure that it's gonna make a square around here with stitching a square but then when you take it off and cut it the square won't be there so i love that bit um basting called a basting stitch okay so i'm going to put go and the base of stitch is always the first thing you um you stitch so your um fabric won't move so this thing is about to get loud this is how it goes i never changed my um my stitch i never change anything on here just go okay what's it called just uh i don't change anything i just go so just going like this right now i can't um nothing look at this if you want to look at me i'm about to answer some questions you can ask some questions um i'm gonna go on my computer and look at my computer answer questions can you it's not supposed to do that because sometimes you can get a little density of in your in your um image and you don't want that but since this is a thick face it might go ahead and um lay down where it goes but sometimes you would see it if you have like a thin a thin um image see how it's lifting up i didn't put that spray on there and then plus i couldn't put my basting stitch on there it would anybody did that okay i could put more spray on there but i'm not about to mess with it well i might put more spray on it i'll put more spray on it after this finished stitching i put spray up more spring you can take it out if you finish stitching it you can move it um because you know if you have to um change the thread or change the bobbin thread you can move this and it won't mess up so after this finish this um i'm gonna go ahead and change it you can change it right now if you want to but i just don't have too much because you have to go back stitch or whatever so when this um is done see how it's buckling up right here don't put it through that i didn't put a spray on there and then the basin stitch is um let me show you how to do the base of stitch real quick so i now know why it's not only i thought i did it okay so this is um her michelle obama so you go up here to i just fought this out last week y'all i was on this um brothers i was on in brilliance or some kind of web youtube uh facebook group or whatever i was like oh my god y'all saved me you go to utility right here then you go to base based design and watch this that's the square i'm talking about right there okay so that square will hold the fabric down so it won't walk up like look at this it's lifting oh my god but the spray is supposed to do that for you the spray is supposed to stop it from doing it but since it's a dense design with a lot of thread it can still move but i was talking and i didn't put enough um spray on there and if you hoop it it won't do that but i'm floating it so floating man you just put it on top and put the spray on there and hoop and you put the fabric under the hoop you're in between you know the hoop but hooping you waste a lot of fabric you know you always don't have to hoop i um i float my designs a lot like i did the sweater this um hoodie i floated this okay i floated it i basically um put spray on it and i floated i didn't hoop it so you can flow hoop you can do whatever you want and it'll work but i need to put more spray on there next time okay so this basting stitch is right here so basically when you put the base stitch on make sure that you have the um this that's to be the first thing they um they um stitch out and then you go and then you go to her okay there's all this didn't show you all that i'm gonna go through all these steps okay okay so that's the basin stitching i just learned about that last week y'all it's a lightsaber look at that how it's buckling up like that but it will have some gaps in there you can see it but i'll be okay with it it's just something i'm gonna put on my website to um show that i have hulk patch to fit for sale right now so it didn't look good in the picture but when this get done i'm going to go ahead and well it really don't matter anymore because this is the bottom stitch oh shoot look at that look at that it's the bottom stitch so we don't matter i should just leave it in there because everything else is going on top of his face everything else is going on top of this thread so it really won't matter anymore but it will be more on top of here so i might just spray it on top okay so it ain't gonna it's not gonna look bad at all because see how the thread is bringing that um fabric down but sometimes you can get dents in there but i think this will be okay yeah when you're done the niche you take the um the basic stitch is so easy to take out let me show you how it looks on these like for instance right here this is the basic stitch on here this is it let me take this out real quick hold on yeah i was confused so it's like oh why i'm not gonna go with the take that thread out of here okay i don't want to do that but i took it out oh it's not too bad it's not too bad but let me show you how to remove since i'm not going to show you how to remove this one i'm going to show you how to remove this one just give me a shane while you're down here being nosy my son down here i'm having to bring my tools over here to me um this is how it looks the basic stitch you can um put it in usually i put my basis in the same color as the thread as the fabric just cuz i don't get it all out and i won't be able to see that right through it but it's so easy to take out let me show you how to do this right now so what i'm going to do is i'm going to show you how to stitch this out thank you guys i'm going to show you how to take this one out the same thing this is a patch right here so let me show you how to do this patch by that stitching see save you some time give me the um give me that two right there shane a little better too i don't like that look at that it's buckling up real bad but it's good it's looking good though it's looking good it's not messing this with this little thing right here it gets kind of tight you can use your hands you want to but sometimes they get kind of tight and just pop it on out badass i like it now i'm saying my son said i'm corny this is tearaway so if you use tearaway you tear it away if you had cut away you would not be the tear that you had to cut it off okay so see um this is the back good stitching good stitching just um all this is the um the white thread you see is the bobbin thread let me show you the bottom three see how it looks in a minute so i'm just taking all this off you just pull it off but it was cut away you couldn't do that you had to cut it so it's easier to do i mean it's cleaner to do um tearaway but if you have um i mean yeah tear away but if you have a dense design you use cutaway i don't like the way that it's looking i mean the patch is looking good if i don't like wait wait that fabric is coming up like that now you see how that basically is around here watch this i use a thread cutter [Music] something like this same ripper i'm sorry get my words right i just can't do it i can't show you what i'm doing just pull it just just pull it just take it and just pull it but if it's that that close to the um image which is kind of close right here just cut it off cut it out and then when you get toasted with this right here you can just put these with the lord let me let me slow down i'm hungry y'all i don't like the way they're looking anyway when you get close to the image you just pull it with your seam ripper but you can cut all this other stuff off okay i gotta talk slow like that so i can make sure i'm making sense let me get my search let me show you what i'm gonna show you how to use the through the patches okay use these curved scissors they are the bomb when it comes to applique and then when it comes to patches look at this look at that i don't like it but it's not messing up my patch though but oh it's about to start messing up hold on hold on see um see i'll show you all my mistakes okay i need to show you how this see how this is bulking up in a minute it's gonna make a little crease inside the um face i wish you hurry up because it's got a long way to go got that chin oh it's going to make a it's going to make a bump okay but i'm going to i'm not going to deal with it i'm going to let it go um it's gonna make a bump i believe cut thing so cut the thread don't worry it won't mess your image up okay but then you just go ahead and um i'm glad this happened white is so i can show you how to do it take it out see this it's not supposed to be like this but what i'm telling you is the face is still good it still looks good no there's no imperfection in here and um it's catching everything's looking good but i think it's gonna get a lump right here it's gonna go over like it's gonna be love right here so i'm gonna put some spray on the bottom of this and i'll be back let me show you a bobbin thread right here bobbin thread going right here and this is what i buy the pre wine bobbin from amazon come in a big old box i'll show you all the boxes real quick this is the big old box of pre-bomb i love these y'all oh my god there's like a thousand with something in here just hold on you gotta worry about why i know they ain't gonna bother me y'all oh my god just put them in there just put them in there you are good yes pre-wound whatever we're about whining about and you can use this too for um your regular sewing machine too okay so let me go put the spray on here i'll be right back y'all and see how dense this is this is cut away fabric it's almost coming through see how um look at that it's getting holes in there already see so that's why you should use two tearaways but most time i do get little tears or whatever but you see how that thread is is it's spreading a little bit because the the stabilizer is too thin see i'll show y'all things that i know but i did all those other images on tearaway so this is a lot of thread in his face it's got a lot of thread on here okay but it's gonna it's gonna be okay it's gonna be okay but terry weighs i'm terrible it's better because it holds the image stable that's why it's called stabilizer i'm just spraying some some stuff on here and i'll be back and y'all it's gonna be lumpy lumpy i'm gonna have me a little lump a little bumpy bump maybe not my the way i just tried to spread spread it out as much i cannot put some over here so i had no problems and you just rub it on there let it dry a little bit and we can keep on embroidering see it won't mess up your stitch or anything you can go here like i said something cause they forever broke a needle right there i would have been able to do this and then um start back up let me show you how what i do when i start back up again so now you need to come over here and do some back stitches so you can start off where you left or you can just go over a couple of last stitches so you go right here to this little needle plus a negative sign right here let me turn this light on it's a negative plus sign right here push that and then you go up you can go back 100 stitches you can go back if you go you see the thread right here you can go back a whole thread color if you want to or you can go up a thread color but i'm going to go back 10 stitches twice negative 10 negative 10 it'll take me back to a little bit where i left off at and then i'm gonna go ahead and push okay and then i'm gonna go ahead and push i'm put get my presser foot down back here put my hand back here and push go and it should be all ready to go so we went over a couple of stitches so be cool let me see what your punches is just let me go ahead and let y'all watch that while i look at y'all [Music] comments okay eyebrows no this is not this is um i guess it's gonna be do the outline so i'm gonna do i'm gonna find another green because i don't wanna use that light green for this for that so i'm gonna find a different i should have been doing that while that was going duh all this green looks like it's like blue green i'm gonna use this screen yeah i should have used this thing for his face you have the same color but oh well i'm gonna use this green so let me go ahead and change this color see how i'm saying every time you change your color you got to change the color you got to change the thread which could be a headache sometimes because you don't want to sit down and relax while it's going and some people say i mean i keep my eye on it but i know my machine so right here making this crazy sound let me know either my three i got caught or my needle broke so i'll be sitting on my little desk and i i'll pop up and i just fix it and then i just back stitch it okay i'm gonna change this thread to make it this color hope this this should be okay it's darker so that's cool she made his face this color y'all but that's just a trial and er trial and error if i don't like this i just make another one a different color but i always always do this before i make a patch i always do this because i want to make sure i like it if i don't like it like i said i did um the vice president like hers the first time i did it so i did it over so i always do this before i said this to somebody i do a trial first and i always do a four by four so mess up a lot of fabric or whatever so um just a trial let's see how it looks see how the how the colors is matching all that kind of good stuff okay if y'all want to know details of how to do this i have a video on how to thread your machine how to different color green i'm gonna make it the same color green as the face okay so you can do what you want to do you can change the color if you want to you don't want to it's up to you this is your your design you do it the way you want so i'm going to change it back to the green i had for his face the 5 5 13. it looked like it was lighter that's just the same green i used it looks like it's lighter i'm tripping y'all singing oh now you fancy don't let y'all let y'all stop me it's in the right color nobody stop me i had so i don't know why this is my way i used the 515 remember i told you i wrote it down 5 15. not this light color let me put this up i mix up my mess up my image so i used to i'm glad i remember it's 5 15. that would have been ugly so i'm gonna thread this like this okay once you get my six needle machine i gotta do this every single time to check the color thread change y'all i can't wait i gotta hope to come here earlier but they told me the end of this month it'll be my 16th machine my brother i got my space ready for me i got my mighty hoops and everything i'm ready y'all so cut threads when you see them need to be cut with this machine the other machine you have to cut through but this machine you do have to cut the thread okay i put spray up there so hopefully that'll work um put my presser foot down and push go 5 15 so what color mr three it was 5 34 walking foot for that one so i'm wondering if the walker's good for this one worked for that one so from carl brothers i posted a call today i forgot i wanted the walking foot work starting to worry talking to y'all i don't like to agree on his eyebrows next time i'm gonna do a darker what am i doing y'all i need to change thread not change the okay so i'm gonna be a black thread for the hair i'm gonna go ahead and use this big tooth um thread i'm gonna put it behind the machine and be careful with this y'all hate these sometimes because sometimes we have like a little groove here and they get that they get caught in there i know y'all have anybody else have problems with sewing with these big old thread spools and they get caught so what i did was sand it down even though i sent it down and still get caught sometimes so what else do y'all do to make that not get caught i'll be so frustrated like why is my needle breaking because my thread gets stuck behind here with these big spools but the spools are better to get because you got you get more thread you know what i'm saying somebody get that big machine so it's gonna get these big get big threads and i got multi-color threads because i'm i got three different machines four come you know my fourth one coming so i might be needing black for two different machines at one time so um i got some multi-color you know more than one two full spool of thread okay but let me know what y'all do so yeah i think we'll get caught my needle breaks a lot because of that the big spools i hate that it's a pain okay i'll put some spray on there so hopefully this won't bubble up but i see a bubble right here already so um oh there you go like i said next time i'm using my my what's name but this habit didn't even happen before when i saying cheap red but not named bread through it sometimes when i buy madeira the madeira don't do that i mean they don't have a little piece down here ain't just cute y'all [Music] when i put regular noodles in there y'all they will always break so now i just use i use 1914 needles for this okay 90 14 80 for this and that's based like a denim needle i think but for these other machines i use the oregon needles um i got this from amazon too i got a link below i'll put the link below um but i know it's not a 90-14 i think it's uh you got an organ needle that i use the whole package you need to come in here a whole lot okay and these are the 75 by 11 75 by 11 okay 25 by 11 just 100 pack needles 100 needles in here for like ten dollars on amazon i got the link behind my video like i said go to my video when it says embroider um hi i'm already attaching a jacket go to that video and that's all my links on here okay but with this machine i have to use the um kicker needle 19 by 14 1914 the let me break it for some reason i don't know but this p800 it's a beast i love it i don't have any problems out of this so i use regular needles 75 11. if i'm doing something thicker like denim or you put that on the back of it and then you iron it on and then it's um armed on then when your customers get it they take the paper off of it then they iron it on on them on a jacket or whatever they we don't need to curve scissors i can just use these small scissors right here the cursors are the bomb you want to know where i got all this stuff my stuff from look at my my um that's etsy my last facebook page oh my god my last facebook video and you will see the whole all the links to all the things that i've used in this video okay i use a brilliance for my um software for my embroidery software see how i said you use the same color felt as you use for um the outline so you won't be able to tell the outline but you use white felt you'll be able to see that white outline on top of your black outline okay so i'll try to use the same color as outline i'm just cutting around see i can still see the black if i get my cursor i can get a little closer sorry i can't show you how i'm big hoop i need to start that knob because i really want to start sampling stuff and then you can just fold it up like it's a shirt because you know what i'm saying it's a good idea to instead of using all your t-shirts because you look you're making this shirt for somebody like i'm i'm using a simple name because most of these names and stuff so i'm gonna make up a name like shayla number and she's turning three but i can't sell that shirt because seda's not turning three cuz i know some kids that i can do i can but if i find a kid name that i can do and just give it to him or whatever i can do that too i have a daycare center so of course i can find some kids so i can do that too but instead of messing up t-shirts i can just use fabric fabric is cheaper than buying a t-shirt so and then you just fold it up real nice and make it like a shirt and you put it in front of a tutu and bam there's your sample put it put the picture of a pretty picture and put it on amazon etsy i want to
