if you didn't already know I make all of the music I use in my animations myself and I use Apple Studio for it my favorite plugin for these kinds of pieces is spitfire Labs where you get these completely free instruments that honestly sound amazing even when compared to some of the paint plugins out there I usually just like to sit and imagine the feeling I want to convey with the animation before I even create the storyboard and then I quickly translate that feeling into a basic Melody and some chords to go along with it after that the creativity simply flows and I usually like to add a few counter Melodies at some parts that really elevate it from the basic chords in Melody ground I also love creating background Ambience using pads soft strings and actual atmospheric sounds to create the setting I also like to add these risers and impact sounds in certain places to help transition or build tension you just need a general idea of how long you want your animation to be the pacing of the animation the mood and style and setting and stuff and then you can play around with a simple piano first and then you can experiment you don't have to build whatever comes to your mind as the first thing you can reiterate and refine it however many times as you want after all the music and the sounds are half of the animation
