Emily Ratajkowski is a model, actress, and
author at the top of her career. Brad Pitt is one of Hollywood's biggest stars. Both celebrities know what it’s like to
live through a painful divorce, so fans started speculating that they bonded. We don’t know what the relationship between
them is, but we do know that they have been seen together on numerous occasions. Oh, and several sources have STRONG opinions
on whether or not they’re dating. Could a relationship bring back the happiness
they've been missing? Emily Ratajkowski is more than 25 years younger
than Brad Pitt. However, the model and actress can relate
to the experience of watching a once-loving marriage break. The brunette beauty had dated music producer
Jeff Magid for about three years before quickly moving on with her future ex-husband, film
producer Sebastian Bear Mc-Clard. In early February 2018, Emily and Sebastian
were spotted together for the first time. Fans were shocked because it had only been
3 months since the model had split from Magid and one month since the media confirmed the
breakup. However, Ratajkowski and Bear Mc-Clard had
been in the same friend circle for years; a source told US Weekly. Well, fans were in for an even bigger shock. Just 10 days after they were spotted together
for the first time, the couple got married! The civil ceremony included only a couple
of friends and didn't follow traditional rules, with the book author wearing a mustard suit
instead of a white dress. Emily told her fans through Instagram, where she
wrote, "Sooo, I have a surprise, I got married today." She also posted pictures of the happy day. The lovebirds waited a month before they went
on their honeymoon in a luxurious resort at Canyon Point, Utah. A couple of months later, the actress gave
more details about Sebastian's proposal during an interview on The Tonight Show With Jimmy
Fallon. Mc-Clard proposed in a New York City tavern. "He didn't have a ring so I was like, 'Mmm,
nah,'" Ratajkowski said. Then, the film producer took the paper clip
the bill was paid with and made a ring! Inventive, ha? As time passed, the model gave even more details
on the relationship. During an interview with Busy tonight, Emily
revealed that she tried not to hang out alone with Sebastian while she was dating Magid
because she knew how attracted she was to him. The star also addressed the criticism about
getting married too fast by sharing something Sebastian told her: "Yeah everyone thinks
we got married quickly, but you vetted me for two years." It certainly seems like the relationship was
a long time coming! After a year of happiness, the "Gone Girl"
actress shared photos of her wedding to commemorate her first anniversary. She also wrote, "Marrying you has been one
of the greatest joys of my life." But not everything was rainbows and sunshine
for the pair. In May 2019, the New York Post ran a story
saying Sebastian owed a hundred and twenty thousand dollars in rent. Mc-Clard claimed protection under the Loft
law, which is designed to protect artists from eviction under certain circumstances. Emily defended her husband on Twitter, saying
he was "fighting the good fight" against a real estate conglomerate. However, others accused the couple of taking
advantage of a law meant for struggling artists, not rich celebrities. After so many months of bliss, the couple
expanded their family. First, they adopted an adorable dog. Then, in October 2020, they announced they
were expecting their first child together. Ratajkowski wrote an essay in Vogue in which
she spoke about gender. She explained that they wouldn't know the
gender of their son or daughter until the child reaches 18 and tells them. In March 2021, the couple finally welcomed
their firstborn, named Sylvester Apollo Bear or Sly for short. The model shared a picture of her baby and
described his birth as "The most surreal, beautiful, and love-filled morning of my life." Everything seemed to be going perfectly fine
until Ratajkowski was seen walking her son without her wedding band more than a year
later, in July 2022. Fans and the media realized they hadn't seen
her with Sebastian in quite a while. An anonymous informer told People magazine
that the couple had indeed split. "It was Em's decision," they added. Another source told Page Six, "Yeah, he cheated. He's a serial cheater. It's gross. He's a dog." The model didn't address the rumors herself. However, she seemed to confirm them with a
much sneakier method: Twitter likes. The actress liked a tweet that said, "Can't
believe that little b*tch cheated on emrata," followed by another that read "emrata finally
free from that man just proves that god is actually very real." Things got even uglier when Emily took to
TikTok, where she nodded at a video that said, "When he thinks he's a 10 because he pulled
you but you like ugly men." Emily pinned a note in the comments section
that said "For legal reasons this is a joke." Wow, that certainly got ugly fast! According to online records obtained by E!News,
Ratajkowski officially filed for divorce on September 8, 2022. Page six claims to have seen the documents
and added that the divorce is being contested, which means there are issues to be litigated. Is this the start of another celebrity legal
battle? Ratajkowski already talks of herself and views
herself as single. She has uploaded many TikToks to her account
giving her opinions on feminism and patriarchy. In one of them, she complains that women are
viewed as possessions. "As a recently single person who is thinking
about dating and stuff, I've really seen that with my friends," the author concluded. So, she’s interested in moving on? Now that her marriage is over, Emily is dating
again, and this is where Brad comes into the picture. However, the model is still dealing with emotional
turmoil. A source told E!News that Ratajkowski is "Trying
to move forward and stay positive" before adding that "She's taking it day by day but
is definitely upset." So, how can Pitt relate to all of this? Well, he HAS been at the center of what will
probably be one of the biggest celebrity divorces of the decade. The actor started dating his now ex-wife Angelina
Jolie (Reference: Exclusive: Angelina Jolie On Passage Of Violence Against Women Act 0.00)
in 2005, very shortly after splitting from his previous wife, Jennifer Anniston. In fact, it was rumored that Brad had cheated
on Jennifer with Angelina before the breakup. Pitt and Jolie started what seemed to be a
fairytale relationship. They had six children in total and got married
at a castle in France. They were one of the most loved celebrity
couples because of their stunning looks and their beautiful and inclusive family. But things suddenly took a sour turn. In 2016, Angelina filed for divorce. Her attorney told People Magazine the decision
had been made for the health of the family. A disturbing FBI report was also brought to
light. This report described Pitt's behavior during
a flight with his family. The actor, allegedly, took Jolie to the back
of the plane, where he shook her and shouted, "You're f*cking up this family!" According to the document, he also poured
beer on the actress and pushed her into a wall, all while his children were on the plane. In 2019, the divorce was finalized. Since Jolie first filed, Pitt has opened up
about his struggles with alcohol addiction and claims to be done with substances. In an interview with GQ, he described his
relationship with alcohol, saying "I just ran it to the ground." He also confessed that he had started therapy. "This period has really been about looking
at my weaknesses and failures and owning my side of the street," the Academy Award winner
said. Since his split, Brad has dated a few women,
although he hasn't had any official partners yet. Brad and Emily were seen out together a few
times on what seemed to be dates during the summer of 2022. A source told OK! Magazine that the actor asked Ratajkowski
out. "She always thought Brad was cute," the person
added. Another informer explained to People magazine
that the couple was introduced through a mutual friend in the art world, since they are both
very interested in art. “They have a lot to talk about and always
have a great time when they hang out,” the source said, before adding, “They stay in
touch when they don't see each other." However, other informers have been quick to
say the duo are not an official thing. An insider told Page Six that the actor is
not dating anybody. In fact, he dated a few people, not only Emily. However, this person cryptically told the
magazine, "Stay tuned." Does this source suspect there is more to
come? Another person told People Magazine that,
even though their friends are not sure it's serious, the couple has been spending a lot
of time together. However, this insider also thinks that they
are not formally dating. So, if both stars like each other, why are
they not making it official? According to sources, it's because of their
divorce drama. An insider told ET that "It's very casual. They're friends." Apparently, neither of them is looking for
anything serious. A source also told Page Six that Pitt has
dated quietly ever since his divorce. The reason? "He worries that Jolie will badmouth him to
their kids, more than she already has, if he has a serious girlfriend," the person claims. Even if the stars need something more casual
right now, who knows what the future will hold? Maybe this will be just a rebound or summer
fling, or maybe we’ll be surprised by another secret wedding soon! Here at Rumour Juice, we just wish Brad and
Emily the best on their respective healing journeys.
