How do sims behave when they’re high? // Sims 4 experiment

oh hi thanks for watching my video so been uh getting really into my experiments lately mainly just seeing how sims behave and i've done this in a variety of ways i've done it by just watching how sims behave when you just put them all in a house and then you let the game decide and then sometimes i've kind of let mods get involved as well so i thought what better experiment than if we play about with base mental drugs so that's exactly what we're doing today i have rustled up four sims they're all gonna live in this tiny little house and i'm gonna take all of their doors away they all have different drugs and we're basically just gonna see how they behave in 24 hours when they're all high they're all going to be taking different drugs by the way just so we can see how it impacts behavior so some have got pills some have got weed it will be fun we'll have a great time so it's currently what 9 a.m on wednesday so i guess we'll just observe them until 9am on thursday i'm not going to intervene or get them to do anything except i will intervene to get them to you know take drugs basically so i should probably start by introducing you to everyone this is ronan he's the guy with the connections he has a drug dealer so he's managed to sort out everything we have for this experiment so thanks ronan this here is claudia she's a pretty cool chick this here is poppy and then over here in the back having a light lunch is little arvin so i think we should probably start by uh taking some drugs eh ronan's got them all so i feel like he should probably share the wealth so let's see let's figure this out i'm thinking ronan can have some weed and then claudia we will give her some mushrooms arvin has a little bit of coat he can have that and then poppy has a load of pills here so poppy let's start with you why don't you take take a cheeky e i like the animations for base mental drugs as well because they always make the sims look super serious when they take their drugs i mean look at the face on her she is serious okay that is one serum on drugs looks like she's got the shakes already claudia you can go ahead and eat that mushroom and then arvin there's a line here waiting for you buddy how are you feeling okay so we got three sims and then ronan why don't you smoke a bit of weed not now welcome wagon this is not the time we don't want a load of strangers coming over oh also disclaimer this video is to observe pixels taking drugs we're not glamorizing drug use here okay seriously kids keep your noses clean okay so they've all taken some drugs we should all have some mood buffs so ronan stoned af perfect arvin very confident from being coked up perfect that's what we like oh i'm a bit worried about claudia she looks like she's not having that great of a time she's nauseous okay she's stoked because she's eagerly awaiting the mushrooms to kick in so she hasn't actually been affected by this yet and then you have poppy and what's the deal with her she's rolling poppy is feeling absolutely flawed this is the good stuff right here okay great great you all right boys [Laughter] ronan's having a great time they're on two very different wavelengths i feel i'm going to go ahead and take away their tv because i do want to see how they behave when they're all high and i feel like if i leave the tv there they're just gonna watch tv the whole time usually when i do these experiments i'm kind of looking for certain things like i've placed a few things around here that they could build skills from like the easel the treadmill the guitar over there they also have a washing machine so i'm curious to see if anyone takes the role of cleaning up after everyone else and they've got a hoover too see i usually look out for who who autonomously chooses to build their skills who cleans up after everyone and who cooks for everyone looks like arvin's going to get himself a nice glass of water it looks like claudia's mushrooms are kicking in she's feeling a strong connection with her sexual primal being okay so much so that she wants to go and watch arvin take a [ __ ] each to their own i guess claudia gets a sudden realization that the universe will grow old and die the exact same way sims grow old and die the older a sim gets the more diseases and scars they have black holes are merely spots where the universe has started to degrade much like how a sim accumulates injuries with age the universe is still young and growing because it is still expanding well i mean you are kind of right there claudia life is pointless and we're all gonna die i think she's uh she's thinking pretty deeply about everything now conan's being stoned is gonna wear off in like four hours i think he could probably handle a little bit more so why don't you take a little bit more there ronan that's right i even gave them some wind chimes so they've got a little melody playing in the background and you know what poppy you're not really giving me enough either so how about we give you one more pill although she she looks like she's getting a bit paranoid maybe i jumped the gun a bit too soon there poppy popped another molly buckle up oh yeah that's right you buckle up buttercup this is going to be a long journey and we're in it together um as someone who is on mushrooms claudia i don't know that it's that great of an idea for you to stare into the never-ending hole i think that might make the situation worse also i noticed that you are desperate to go to the bathroom and there's a there's a toilet right there got your name all over it claudia oh no claudia gets a sudden realization that the key is to merge the collective consciousness the gateway must be the internet sim needs to start communicating with strangers all right mushrooms are probably the most fun one to play with how are you guys doing oh no i think i think arvin is very uncomfortable because he's coming down don't you worry arvin there you go you can you can do another line and you know what arvin you seem like you might appreciate a little mushroom too so how about you do a line and then you can eat a mushroom as well cheeky bit of both oh has someone decided to start building their skills what better time to feel inspired to do painting or did you just go over there to view it oh no she just wanted to view that's a bit pointless claudia why don't you paint oh someone come and play this with rona and he's doing it on his own you are drinking a lot of water arvin do you have a very dry mouth how how are you doing you're getting a bit cold there you're right poppy just alone with your own thoughts she doesn't even look any different she just looks like a normal sim you can't tell that she's taken like lsd she's feeling very flirty though oh i think she wants to do a keg stand fair enough no one's getting any food they're just getting lots and lots of glasses of water claudia's my favorite one so far she seems to be having the most intense experience and honestly i'm living for it oh okay don't mind me look at that face she looks like she's having a great time you're right there claudia you having a good time okay i think they've hit arvin as well because he also has the stars around his head okay she's regaining her senses the stars her little stars have gone i'm a little bit worried about poppy she keeps shivering and she's not like cold or anything claudia why don't you come have another another mushroom he's spaced out looks like ronan is pretty spaced out as well she's paranoid why are you so paranoid you'll be fine she's scared uneasy claudia is starting to regret eating more shrooms well i got you this beer keg so you should probably you know try it you two just hanging out in the toilet i'm gonna get i'm gonna get um arvin has a profound thought that all sims are given a measure of life to spend as they enter the world with this life they can do anything they choose why then should it be that anyone chooses less than total exhaustion i'm going to get them to do a i'm going to get poppy to do a keg stand she seems the most together even though i am a bit worried about her because she's shaking a lot she is probably the most appropriate to drink some beer oh arvin straight in there with the beer hey we got someone building skills well done poppy very nice very nice play some music for everyone else i'm sure they'll appreciate it frayed nerves from badly played music oh she's doing her best guys leave her alone ronan is mentally relaxed he's experiencing a euphoric sense of tranquil relaxation good vibes for arvin yeah but has anyone actually made any food yet because all everyone is doing is just drinking water i haven't seen anyone make any food except darvin at the very beginning that was at like 9 00 a.m more tripping like a rush of silence suddenly everyone is just being dead silent where are you going poppy you're gonna have something to drink are you gonna wash up the cup ah what a good egg i like the way they're walking yeah they're having a heat wave right now so you really shouldn't be shaking poppy claudia suddenly drifts off into a realization that the multiverse is real there are infinite universes and infinite versions of all sims are experiencing the same thing with slight differences beings who control the sims are beings that exist outside all sims space-time yeah that's right it's pretty trippy huh i don't know who this all-powerful being controlling you is but it sounds like she deserves some [ __ ] respect yeah no one's really doing much they're just sort of [ __ ] about just sitting around you know kick stand can she do it can she do it i mean she did a pretty good job considering she's like really high well done claudia is incredibly spaced out and incredibly horny she craves sexual attention and the need to feel and make a naked body next to her naked body well i mean i don't know what you want to do about that claudia that's that's on you ah poppy's just kind of following arvin around like a big brother ronan has a chatty mood buff nothing looses it up nothing looses up those social skills like a little booze ronan is feeling very chatty see you're still seeing stars poppy is rolling hard and she's drunk and she hurt her mum when she fell i mean she just kind of has a total blank look on her face she kind of looks a bit dead behind the eyes poppy you have given me the least from this experiment you've not given me any laughs you've just made me feel concerned claudia are suddenly realizing that sims need to be better at focusing on the love focusing on the joy focusing on the complete acceptance one feels in the moment the ego disappears into pure gratitude for being alive [Laughter] whoever writes these man well i'm sorry alvin but there was a toilet there this whole time you could have gone at any point ah his mood buff is loving life i am genuinely surprised that none of their needs i guess i mean it's been 12 hours they've barely eaten they've not like slept oh some autonomous uh bong smoking there claudia seems to have a bit of a glow around her now oh and she's passed out well you should have taken yourself to bed she's messed up she's had one or five drinks too many sims have no self-control do they are they all drunk he's drunk he's drunk claudia i don't think is drunk but she she does keep oh yeah she's messed up from drinking that's why she keeps passing out poppy is tipsy and it looks like her drugs are wearing off so we'll just take a couple more [ __ ] it let's go crazy let's take five doesn't make any difference to me what happens to you so you just go crazy you giving yourself a pep talk there alvin you just checking in with yourself yeah you're fine you're fine buddy don't worry about it i wonder if sims can die from having too many oh you passed out again there claudia i see claudia has some dirty laundry in her inventory she uh hasn't thought to do any laundry herself though i mean i get it she's she's in another world right now and she's very tired but you know you do have like four beds that you could choose from oh no poppy shell has died from overdosing oh no i guess you can die if you have too many oh dear wait wait let me just check that mood buff there rolling hard poppy is feeling it every single fiber in her body is exploding with your euphoria she's rolling harder than ever well well [ __ ] sorry about that poppy i didn't think you'd actually die i thought that you would just have a real crazy time of it i mean this is just as shocking to me as it is to you looks like someone pissed themselves over there oh dear oh dear and she was flirty as well when she died so sad wait can we maybe see if we can plead plead for poppy can we save her oh please grim we didn't know what we was doing we was just being careless we're sorry let's just try and plea for for poppy we're good people really am i still alive i am i guess you saved me thank you so much seriously yikes that was close i owe you big time poppy has been brought back to life alvin's impassioned plea to the grim reaper must have worked oh yeah i mean she doesn't look very very much like she's been brought back to life i guess i'll give her a little bit of time because it still says death by overdose so i think he's gonna revive her oh here she comes she's coming back up oh congratulations poppy oh she's even doing a little happy dance hopefully they were all square oh no she is still very high um but you know hi and alive that's the main thing congratulations poppy you are one lucky chick and for some reason you can walk through walls how magical hey grim you want an e little cheeky spliff maybe just to say thanks for doing us a solid right there well grim while you're here you fancy doing some laundry by grim cheers i don't know what's going on with claudia she keeps taking herself to bed and uh waking up again she's just very unsettled so what do you guys want to do now you could paint or do the laundry or one of you could cook i mean you're all hungry maybe one of you could take some [ __ ] initiative oh did arvin hear me say that no no he just wants to do a keg stand are you gonna try that that going to sleep thing again claudia good luck one thing i will say is that ronan has been really the only sim to truly appreciate this pinball table this foosball table he has several times gone over and played with it and you know what i'm glad you're enjoying it ronan because i was zombing and aaring about giving that to you because i didn't think any of you would appreciate it but at least one of you does so well we're down to the last couple of hours now we don't have long until 9 a.m no one's really had a full night's sleep we've had a death we've had multiple keg stands and lots of very deep thinking mainly from the mushroom takers i don't really know what we've learned from this experiment i try and end these videos with some kind of takeaway um but really i guess my takeaway is mushrooms are the most fun drug to give sims they seem to get the most reaction and if you give your sims too many pills they could die also sims that are like high are really good at persuading the grim reaper i guess is another takeaway but that is about it that is pretty much
