How Bocchi the rock Influenced me to buy a guitar

the most important part of media is whether or not it can influence you otherwise there would be no reason to like or dislike something if it hasn't moved you in a certain way whether it's something as simple as little kids wanting to become Pokemon trainers because they're removed by the journeys that Ash and his friends went through and wanting to own a Pokemon of Their Own that kid was made by the way or as we see in today's society the influence of the social aspect of media and these people that are called influencers that are promoting these skewed beliefs to the younger generation and giving them this false sense of individualism due to society pushing these unorthodox ideas of what can and cannot be accepted in today's world but enough about the chroming society around us today I'm here to tell you what recently has influenced me to the point that it made me pick up a skill set I would have never thought of picking up and that is the guitar and by the title of this video I think you can guess what made me do that he said she said the thing my work here is done everybody roll the credits that's right this pink-haired socially inept high school girl that can shred a guitar and also doesn't exist maybe on impulse by the guitar on a whim and you're probably sitting there asking what could she have done to make you this motivated to buy a guitar and put yourself in debt I have no [ __ ] idea but what I can tell you is what I think might have made me do this maybe because she's another one of these just like me for real characters in terms of being a loner and not being able to change because of the way your own mind can restrict your true potential yet you have a genuine sense of direction that is pushing you towards your goal in life which in her case was making a ban because she was influenced by the band on TV she saw that one night that had a band member that was also just like her for real despite not even picking up an instrument in her entire life sounds familiar what so not only is this an anime relatable to my personality but being an anime about music well I do say they be musicing I don't I don't know but considering that I listen to more Japanese music than well pretty much anything else it just kind of adds more tickle to my pickle sorry and not only are the characters good and the music bangs but the staff that animated the show had a whole new level of passion when animating the show I mean safe to say that this was the best animation for the year 2022 hahaha [Laughter] from every scene that Bocce had a mental breakdown the animation would break down with her as well it also very accurately portrays how one would feel in the situations that she's dealed with you can tell that they enjoyed making the show and well it shows I haven't read the Manga for it yet but I assume it's pretty good considering what was done here well can't say the same about all mediums so foreign and speaking of the source material the author for this show is also a fan of Japanese rock especially the band Asian Kung Fu Generation look at this because of the references throughout the anime I mean the names of the band members are the exact same so yeah but there's so much about the music culture in Japan I would have never known about if it wasn't for anime in general just from how much they use music from their openings to the endings and as much as I don't like chainsaw man I still like the fact that they had the balls to separate each ending song for each different episode I mean that's dedication to the craft and it just goes to show how anime is just more than bringing the panels to life but about conveying a mood to the audience of how the show's ideally supposed to be portrayed by the use of music and visuals and with the help of Music it creates this atmosphere to further emotionally invest you into whatever you're watching what is sound see sound is a very vital part to humans just as much as the other senses but today I'm going to be talking about music beeps and boops see hearing is fundamental to understanding the world around us sound is a product of perception not a thing out there the only thing out there is vibration which the body organizes and stratifies into what we call sound we create meaning from just vibrations we hear moving around I mean [ __ ] even me talking in English is no different from me saying it's it's you understand one and not the other but I'm doing the same thing I'm just using my vocal cords to produce sound which gets interpreted by whoever it chooses to hear which I hope you guys are still listening because uh I know this is a Bochy video and I'm talking about the understanding and concept of sound uh yeah the reason why I'm even explaining this is because this anime is perfect for conveying that feeling between sound and emotion in episode 8 of the anime the band finally gets a chance to prove their worth and put on an actual live show they gave it their all in the audition and passed I mean they really gave it their all and then not only to get wrecked by mother nature but even when all hope was lost they eventually had some people show up and even people that didn't show up for them so they had their chance to put on a show and oh boy the nerves were getting to them and God damn it were they getting to me I have never felt anxiety while watching an anime before in my life even when I'm watching nuts to butts action Shonen I'm just there like damn they boxing but put me into the shoes of Bocce's anxiety-filled mine and God damn it you make me feel like she just like me for real and it doesn't help that these two wet blankets were in the crowd and everyone was just being awkward right off the bat but they begin to play yet something feels off nijika's drums are stuttering the guitars aren't in sync kita's singing isn't up to spec and well the bass I mean she's chilling but it's all wrong they're playing music they're making noise but but it sucks when I tell you this part had my chest tight and my hands clamping I had goosebumps on my Goosebumps I was just as nervous if not more for them and they don't even exist but that scene right there just in turn shows that the nerves that they were feeling were being projected through their instruments into my soft little brain making me tremble with anxiety I mean even when I hear myself play the guitar complete garbage and of course it is it's because I'm a beginner and the noise I'm gonna make is gonna sound like I don't know what I'm doing because I don't but you know who does know what they're doing this pink slime ball right here the Guitar Hero herself and when I mean she knows what she's doing I mean it while Kita is scrambling for words to introduce the next song and the wet blankets just keep getting soggier bochi enters a state of [ __ ] you watch this she emerges from her mango box mentality gets locked in and starts the song with a killer solo foreign [Music] including her own bandmates were enamored all they can do is watch and listen [Music] awoken from the trance that Bocce has casted onto them and are now just as locked in as she is they begin everyone had to keep up with bochi's Pace she was leading in Excellency and everyone had to keep the same momentum you can even see Kita being like bro chill out my guy and they just popped off and when I say they pop off I mean they exploded with exaggerated Swagger that even a black teen like myself was inspired by I think that this scene is what single-handedly moved me into learning the guitar from the choreography of the animation to make them look like a real moving band and whoever this goat was that cued the lighting in such perfect timing this song in general goes crazy I mean after I watched this episode and went to the gym I [ __ ] you not I had this exact song on Replay for the entire session I was there head banging off of pre-workout and anime music hitting my Maxes in every exercise possible the number of plays this song has in Spotify is all things to me every single one not anyone has played the song But Me and it's not to say that this episode was the only thing good about the show the entire time watching from beginning to end was pure enjoyment I don't think I've watched a single episode where I didn't pause it because I was just dying of laughter from the interaction the boat she had of the people around her and what she would get herself into this anime was a right hook out of nowhere and to be released in the midst of the hype that chainsaw man was creating in its weight and well let me down personally but we'll talk about that another time but even during the continuation of already well-known popular anime like spy family mob psycho the grand return of bleach and the Holy Grail that is blue lag swear to God whenever a Sports Anime comes out it's like no one has ever seen anyone play sport before it's like they're hitting a [ __ ] ball it's soccer like yeah you guys never seen this before and I feel like I'm forgetting something oh well despite all that Bocce The Rock was generating numbers just from Pure quality no overexes hype was needed and it wasn't continuing on an already great story it was just simply that good but to wrap it all up I think Bocce for making me foolishly buy guitar yet being broke I would have never had the courage to buy one and force myself to learn a new skill set but I'm glad I did because I think it's important for humans to learn new things grow train your brain it's good for you it's a muscle just like the rest of your body and if you're not pushing it past what it can already accomplish then you won't see any Improvement so hopefully in the future you'll see me doing different covers of different songs and whatnot and hopefully in the future we get season two because I swear to God if this piece of garbage can get six goddamn seasons if we don't get more Punchy we Riot I will begin Ragnarok against the human race I will have my revenge sorry anyways thanks for watching
