Did they just re explain the bridge jump twice?
The pre planning miniature sets for the flares was quite badass though.
Any movies that were actually done in one shot? Like Victoria.
A significantly better video for people who want info from the horse's mouth rather than second-hand from some mildly irritating Insider dude: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ypvd2LJCJHg
Before watching does this explain how they did that shot across the crater βlakeβ in No Manβs Land? That one puzzled me as I watched it. π€
I didn't realize the part where he accidentally runs into the charging soldiers was accidental. It was such a fantastic moment in the movie that it really seemed like they'd planned to throw a few more obstacles in his way. Thinking back on it, it almost would have seemed too easy if he hadn't collided with them.
Kind of reminds me of the mishaps that happened during the chariot scene of Ben Hur. Not planned at all, but accidents can make a movie better.
That jump actually looks kinda rubbish.
this Roger Deakins guy has a really impressive resume
Saw this movie with Sam Mendes and the 2 main character at a Q&A the other day. I have a new-found appreciation of this already amazing film now.
this movie was actually quite good. i didn't know going into it that i was gonna be the whole one continuous shot thing. i think i first noticed around while they were running around no mans land and the guys hand fell through the corpse
