Houston Astros vs. Atlanta Braves Highlights | World Series Game 6 (2021)

well they are ready in houston texas as they welcome the astros back to town it's game six of the 2021 world series with the atlanta braves up three games to two [Music] they've got eddie rosario his counterpart tonight max freed is excited to get back out there after his game two start five plus innings six runs seven hits and a ground ball left side from the whole swanson basic jammed brantley altuve will get to second and safe at first and frayed is arguing that bradley stepped on his leg not on the bag or that freed got a part of the base right now it's two on nobody out and freed one play by swanson with a bare hand for the out and we've seen a couple of good defensive plays one on each side tucker for the astros and now swanson robs him of an infield hit batting with one out nobody on in the second fouls it right side and that ball is caught for round number two [Applause] line drive base hit into right center field gets it between correa and altuve and atlanta has their first face runner off the end of the bat into right center field and easy for siri one on one out albee's was going and he just stumbled there he goes and a fly ball into left field back at the wall caught by bradley and albie's back to the bag two out 3-1 runner goes fourth four [Applause] high fly ball to left and good bye solaire with a monster blast into left and the braves lead three-nothing here in the third too many breaking balls joe he was timing him up and he got one that not even the train tracks could hold [Applause] jorge solaire [Applause] rooks raleigh throws one pitch and gets freeman to ground out to el tube and the inning is over but what an inning for the atlanta braves up three games to two it started with a hit by the new seventh place hitter albies and the rally ended on a bomb hit by solaire 3-0 atlanta after two and a half maldonado is on with a lead off base hit all of a sudden alive and well at the plate is martine maldonado on to start the third altuve got under it one on one out maldonado stays put and a big out there for freed [Applause] back to freed to second for the out onto first got them both and a one six three double play turned by freed and swanson three four five hitters will bat for the astros in the bottom of this fourth here's a 2-2 from javier and struck him out on a breaking ball finally over two one away strikes out quick and easy inning good pitching by javier there's a 2-2 now correa broke his bat little flare in the right center field that will drop and alvarez will be the hitter alvarez grounds one to albies the flip out over the first they got him both back-to-back innings turning a double play and this one goes four six three two out nobody on they don't get this double play if it doesn't hit the mound i don't believe here's one right side all these two is left what a job by max freed gives up the blue pit to start the inning gets a double play and a ground out on the next pitch a lead off walk puts all these on base 1-2 pitch gets past maldonado back to the screen and albie's down to second with nobody out javier brings it and strikes him out two balls two strikes christian javier brings it there it goes swanson touches one off five nothing atlanta here in the fifth [Music] second home run of this world series and there was nothing cheap about it [Applause] big milwaukee braves that's ball four 3-1 pitch here flying into left center field well hit back at the track it's off the wall solaire digging around third here he comes it's six nothing in atlanta as freddie freeman delivers here in the fifth what an impressive post-season it's been for phil maton [Applause] off the end of the bat into right center field back to grab it is siri well went a long way but it's out number three in the top of the fifth couple of home runs and an rbi double by freddy freeman three in the third three in the fifth how about that a strikeout starts the fifth and that's three strikeouts for the lefty free here is a three-two now struck him out looking [Applause] that's off the end of the bat nobody's over there for houston and a base hit to start the sixth peterson now flies one into right got under it and tucker is back to grab it they went with the old school guy as albies gets a base hit into right and snifker has blended the analytics with that old-school baseball field here in 2021 as darneau strikes out two out 2-0 pitch hard hit one hop correa has to go the wrong way and boy he's got a great arm two two three strike three five strikeouts for freed against no walks and he's allowed just three singles and he gets altuve on a pop-up swanson has out number two in an elimination game that's up the middle diving stop safe what a play by swanson now how he even made it close i mean that was sensational it was unbelievable yep that gets away down to first correa the throw got it what a play by darneau and that ends the inning [Applause] another from stanek struck him out one down in the seventh hard hit and diving stop bregman gets up throws and what a play by bregman still playing defense down by six can't do it any better than that you're right about that there's not going to be a better play you see 1-1 pitch flies into left center field well hit back at the wall it is gone a home run for freddie freeman how about that in what might be his last at-bat for the atlanta braves he's just made it seven to nothing with a shot into left center field here in the seventh of game six stays inside the ball so good and just that is a that's a that's a right-handed home run that was just hit by a left-hander [Applause] got him looking six of the seven runs tonight via the home run ball and freddie freeman goes deep [Music] charlie freeman the eighth inning and thankfully everybody's okay now this is an unplayable divot that that was that could have gotten skied into center for siri [Applause] and a one two three eighth for presley bottom of the eighth inning in game six trying to get big outs here in game six of the world series and he's got four of them and diaz thought it was up he's the first out here in the a 3-2 delivery on its way and he struck him out like him and he struck out the side dominant max free tyler matzick eight innings of game six in the books seven nothing atlanta tenth game of this postseason for garcia the 1-1 that'll play for tucker one down here's a line drive caught by correa swanson who is homered tonight is out number two during the break and i said was that guy you said yeah that was grissom that made that catch [Music] [Applause] i mean you were there i was there the braves bring in their closer will smith to try to get the final three outs 3-2 that's a base hit by bradley and he's on to start the ninth five games better than the mariners in the al west and back in the world series here's one into right center field going to get it is duvall one on one out and the braves are two outs away watching his dad guide the atlanta braves to within one out of a championship two down here in the ninth inning and the astros are down to their final out vo2 left side swanson to first hello champions at 10 23 central time tuesday november 2nd 2021 the atlanta braves have officially overcome all obstacles that were put in front of them and they are world champions winning it in six and delivering atlanta their second championship pretty incredible every one of those players seems like they contributed it's really a total team effort but the heart and soul of the organization is freddie freeman and you can't imagine what he's feeling right now after putting in all those years along with that man ryan snicker i'm sure he's looking for his wife can't find her and it's just it's hard to explain but they did it on so many different levels and they believed swanson was going to throw to second had to throw to first and a franchise they want it and 1914 in boston 1957 in milwaukee has now won it in atlanta in 1995 and 2021
