still a major traffic backup on 80 after that hours long standoff with a shooting suspect just take a look at all those cars stuck there for hours we did just learn that the CHP has reopened the westbound side of 80 in the last 10 minutes that is the side that the suspect's car was not in they are trying to reopen the eastbound Lanes just as soon as possible now this all happened on ad80 in Fairfield near the Cordelia Junction where 680 joins 80 and we did hear from the CHP that the driver at the center of the standoff died by Suicide we did show you the driver being taken away in an ambulance earlier but again we're told that that person died by Suicide
