I gotta clean these Johnnie's ah so today we are going to do a build breakdown on an rx-7 it makes about 400 horsepower it's an awesome little car and it's not mine because my car sucks and if you wonder why I'm saying my car sucks Oh would you look at that no I didn't blow my motor up my car actually made fall under horse power 12 psi was super conservative timing and we're gonna get it back on the dyno later but that's neither here is there just to be the hydraulic throw out wrong on my t56 as you know the t56 comes out of Chevy's not these baby little 13 B's so don't don't worry the motor is good the motor is good I just it's just easier to pull that shit out to figure this shit out so I got a fresh clutch from a CT they branded me up that's so sick and yeah so but let's go check out the power except and I'm talking about it actually belongs to John Bargh is the guy who built my motor it is little makes a ton of horsepower and it's stupid fast so I know what you thinking kinda just the 13b turbo to out of the second Jim yeah what a public transmission awesome with okay so so turbo to engine turbo to drivetrain rear end stock we're in four three transmissions and then five for years it just was holding on so have you have you actually been on a dyno this thing yet cuz I've only seen little videos you scooting around 397 or 14 pounds on 91 octane at this exact setup what the old turbo this turbo is much better right you know why it's much better because it smarter bode and guess what who lends a friend of turbo only to find out that they paint a blade but let get down there you can see that I cleaned the letter that's ridiculous that is ridiculous so that is the GTX 40 88 turbo by Garrett turbo off of my v8 swap so all the Smashing that you saw with my car John also has collected my my wideband oh wow that's my seat - what else is on this car that belongs to me huh alright alright well anyway what how much boost are you running on this thing 15 so I ran this turbo on my v8 seven pounds I made 500 horsepower obviously it's eight cylinders does does things differently Bo if you had the guests so you made 400 with a worse turbo okay so what was a GTX yeah so I just yeah so it's not this so how much power would you guess you're making now for 30 I've seen this thing scoot is scary man you don't want to push them because why are you gonna get called out people gonna make money yeah yeah and then you're gonna make 200 horsepower and everyone's gonna know this you know honestly this is a awesome little street rocket it's it's it's a baby hot rod with a weird motor in it a weird motor that I love though alright well so yeah 13b I see some weird manifold extension Hertz turbo oh you're on call you read the first coil rad today one of the first ones is produce for their baby yeah they tested it on my car a little plug there yeah nice work lrb speed lots of goodies from them I need to get from my car - are these real watts yeah you got real eye you you can beat on this motor the rotary motor the most sensitive motor of all time according to the internet with 400 horsepower no problem that's why I chose him to build my motor so it was daily driven until we pushed 100 and I mean $110 a gallon so I wonder where you've been getting your gas room know now that that was the F D that was the FBI said that's different he's been poaching my ignite racing fuel out of my gas tank every time he comes and works on my car he just takes a little he's like oh yeah I just you know want to make sure it's good and then it ends up in this camping mileage the money I mean as long as you build the engine right which is kind of expensive to build to do it right but you know yeah so basically the first time and you want me so basically rotaries being bad is simply about that mechanics back tuning in proper setup you can't half-ass it yet do I do it right I mean this car the way it is I I guess just my money on parts no labor I put like almost ten thousand dollars per car and that's why I can drive over 25 years being the shit so basically what he's saying is don't be a cheapo it you're gonna go rotary do it right take your time and be patient because it will be right once it's done and that's what I'm hoping for I actually have a lot of faith in my motor because one this thing I've seen what you do to it it's amazing to Chris's car three we've done about six hours on the dyno with breaking in and everything and the motor just sounds so good it starts up every time I could take it if I blow it up so this is the new drift car yeah we really have to fabricate the steering on this thing so you could actually get something baby steps baby steps baby steps John things I brought him here just for a bill breakdown but I actually
