it's been more than 20 years that you open the doors to the Hispanic people with such [Applause] generosity so generous that we're surprised there are pastors friends of mine who say to me the Americans won't give you Freedom it can't be you have this freedom and I always say Dr Scher Juan Carlos Ortiz told Juan Carlos Ortiz could it be another way you deserve the same rights and we live this every day we use the cathedral the every room it's really feels it's our home and he gives us all freedom I can walk on top of the water fountain you're not supposed to translate that the glory of God is here thanks for someone who has an open [Applause] heart there are lots of people who don't know who Dr Schuler is because they're very young he's a legend we don't have two minutes enough to talk about everything he is I told them a couple of weeks ago Robert Robert arella you are anointed the anointing is upon you the anointing is there and due to the anointing and due to the anointing many have spoken good or bad but due to the anointing you're already in history no one can erase that no can erase that I want that you may look two minutes this is very difficult to do because it's all one life it can't be fulfilled in two minutes but we did what was possible so we're going to look two minutes this is Dr Schuler this is arella this is the day that God has made let us rejoice and be glad in [Music] it more than 2,000 cars jammed into the lot from his sparkling telegenic glass church already the master of distilling spirituality into sound bites the gray robed Minister was a natural and Schuler began to feel the walk-in Drive-In church was increasingly inadequate in [Music] size now Schuler began churning out inspirational bests sellers year after year and stopped accepting a church salary by 1988 The Hour of Power had 2.5 million viewers in the United States and was the most watched religious TV [Music] program [Music] for this is a man who has spent his life having impossible Dreams and making them come true and inspiring the rest of us to do the same to reach they honor each [Applause] star Dr Scher AR Dr Schuler arll [Applause] please the choir when we open this place we want a Spanish speaking service he said but we're English I said we are one family and uh they said but Spanish people you don't speak Spanish and they don't come to our church but this is their Church they they just don't know [Applause] it my husband worked very very hard to build this Cathedral there is a time when the money was not fair and so he said to one donor I must give you your money back there is no more money to build the cathedral but the donor said dig the hole keep on going and now in his office just a few minutes ago my husband said oh just listen to the music listen to the people singing This is why I kept on building for God [Applause] so I can't tell you how proud and honored I am to see that this church has been discovered by the people for whom God built it I'm so honored because this place has been built to stand literally for hundreds of years and and I know that you are the Pioneers in the leadership of a church Beyond English and I thank [Music] you [Applause] raise your hands and let's pray for Dr for AR we already prayed for Sheila now we're going to pray for Dr Scher and for his beloved wife no bankruptcy no news will change what God wants to do here what God's going to do here nothing's going to change what God Said that will happen no one will say the contrary House of a blessing extend your hands towards here dear heavenly father I pray for your servants we bless them we bless their feet we bless their feet we bless their body we raise up their hands Lord we raise up their hands and we say that we love them may they never feel alone you are not alone there is a people very big who prays for you who sustained your arms like Moses don't let your arms go down we are here for you don't give up Robert don't give
