Honor Magic V2 - Everything You Need to Know Before Buying the BEST FOLDABLE PHONE!

what is up guys welcome back to the channel this is Dr H and today I got a very exciting new phone over here and this is the honor magic V2 so we're going to check out this phone over here go through all the key specs and features before you make a purchase decision so without further Ado let's just get right into it all right so here in Malaysia the honor magic V2 does go for 6,999 ring which does place it at about the $1,500 Marth and right now what we're going to do is a very good unboxing video here because this is very nice so as you can see we do have the kind of tabs over here very premium unboxing experience here straight up we are greeted by the phone and also we have all the necessary precautions that comes with this so in case if you guys want to read about it you can do so here and freeze it right now we're going to check out the other stuff that does come with this phone so here we're going to have all the manual books and stuff inside let me see if I can take this off or okay it's empty next up here also have the manuals and also I suspect would be the phone case so pretty nice here indeed slowly just peel this [Applause] off boom here we would have the nice matte black phone case oh no it comes in the the violet color Edition just like with this model here so we have one side and also a phone stand here which would help a lot next up we have the charging brick here so this is the honor super charge 66 W so it's going to be pretty fast we also have the cable I suspect in the other box as you can see it's a very premium unboxing experience here so take this off we have the usba a to USBC cable so let me just clear this off and I'll see you guys in just a little bit okay so here is the phone and one thing I noticed is that the case only comes with B cover here because it's able to cover a little bit on front this is of course this the teest and lightest foldable phone so now let's just peel this off a little bit or what we can do is just slide this away and I got to say this is the violet color Edition looking really really nice of course you can get the vegan leather as well the black color more of the premium look but this as well very nice purple finish to it very smooth and as you can see here you're not going to get a lot of fingerprints much on this really really nice so in terms of comparisons you can see that the thickness on this is very very thin indeed this is like half of a phone and even if you fold this up this is very nice very nice thickness to WID let me just take out another phone here just for you guys to compare so this is the magic V2 and this is an iPhone 12 mini so you can see that it's almost the size and thickness of a iPhone 12 mini so that's really amazing because most affordable phones would be quite thick I would say this one here very nice it feels like a very normal phone indeed so in terms of the dimensions over here what we have is a 230 G of phone here and on the outside we have a very nice finish over here we have a glass on front glass on the back and also we have some magnesium aloy frame and also some titanium alloy folding mechanism inside as well alloy I just don't know why I couldn't get the name out properly but yes we have a titanium mechanism over here to give a little bit more durability when it comes to the hinge mechanism over here very nice finish to it now let's go on to the next segment all right so we're going to talk about the display here so what we have on the outside here is a nice impressive 6.43 in ltpo OLED display with of course your 1 billion colors 120 HZ HDR 10 plus support and a peak brightness of 2500 nits so out here we have the nanoc crystal Glass 2.0 and that's really really impressive and of course if we just open this up unfold it and check out what we have inside Al again we have an impressive display over here coming in at a massive 7.92 in of display it also does give you an ltpo olet panel 1 million C support 120 HZ HD r10 Plus IMAX enhanced and a peak brightness of 1,600 nit so either way if you're going to use the display on the inside or on the outside here you still going to get very good displays on this and of course it does come with a stero speaker setup one on the bottom here and also one in the top here as well all right and of course now we going to talk about the internal Hardware over here and this is where it gets really nice because inside this phone over here inside this baby we have the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor which is going to be really really cool and of course we have 16 gigs of RAM and if you want to turn it up you can have the honor Ram turbo feature turn on and it does give you an extra 7 gigs of extra Ram over here and in terms of storage we have 52 gig so you don't have to worry about it you don't have any micro SD expansion with this but that is of course pretty unst understandable with most modern phone nowadays and of course if you talk about the battery here we are given a massive 5,000 mm of battery and of course the size of this as you can see it's able to fit in this very thin and slim phone over here and of course it will be able to give you one full day of usage with this because like I mentioned before you can power this up with the 66 W of the honor super charge here and talking about the internal side of things we have magic OS 7.2 over here which is of course on top of Android 13 so if you guys have been using a lot of your hon phones your feel right at home over here of course the looks of it is a little bit different comp compared to what you have on a normal phone but as we can see here it looks the same but of course if you unfold it it does have a tablet feel to it and of course does give you a lot of customizations I do like the S panel the navigation dock as well stuff you can do with your home screens you're always on display very very nice and very very fun to play around with and one more thing I want to highlight to you guys is that this phone here does use a side mounted fingerprint scanner as you can see there it works really really fast and even in the unfoldable side of things what you do is just tap on the site gets job done and of course you go to your face unlock as well boom you are right in and of course last but not least let's talk about the cameras on this phone so in terms of the selfie camera there's actually two one on the inner display and one also on the outer display and what is interesting about this is that if I just play around here and I switch it on to the other one you can use the rear camera as your front display as your shooter as well really really cool in terms of the megapixel count here this one what we have is a very very nice 16 megapixel shooter so it's able to shoot up up to 4K at 30 FPS and it does give you f2.2 lens and it does have your gyro Eis and of course if we switch it on to the rear cameras over here which does looks really really nice it does have a triple camera setup starting with the main lens here 50 map F 1.9 sensor with with dual autofocus a t F laser autofocus and O of course if you switch it on to the other one we have another 20 megap telep photo camera and it does go up to two times of 2.5 times of optical zoom it does have your ois and autofocus and lastly we have the ultra wide lens here 50 megapix f2.0 and it also does have your autofocus and it's able to record up to 4K at 60 FPS and it does have your HD 10 plus support and also o so it's pretty pretty impressive in terms of the modes here what we have is your portraits your photo video movie mode as well which is going to be really cool I'm really excited to check that out of course we have all the other extra Shenanigans with this we have the dual view feature something that I like on most of my Android phones it's really fun to use especially if you're going to concerts or doing your vlogging really really useful camera feature as well and it's a
