Homeschool Bible Curriculum 2021 // Masterbooks: More Than Words Level 1 & Level 2 // Flip Through

[Music] hey guys welcome to my channel among stouts if you're new here my name is samantha in today's video i'm going to share with you a flip through of the bible curriculum more than words and it's written by rebecca spooner and um it's i guess published by master books i bought it from master books website so i have the level one and this is the one that i purchased from my six-year-old and then i have two of the level two more than words books for each of one for each of my older kiddos and so i just wanted to share in this video a flip through of both of them so that you could see in one space one video what is inside of each one of them and then you can get a better idea of which one would be best for your kids to start off with so if you guys have seen my how i teach my kids the bible video you will already know but if you haven't i will have that video linked in the comments below so you can go ahead and check that out but um this is our first year homeschooling and we actually didn't use a bible curriculum this year and so we have been using a combination of different devotionals and bible studies as well as i have been my husband and i have been pretty intentional about the curriculum that we choose and making sure that it is a christian worldview and the bible is used throughout it so uh we get that a lot with the master books curriculum that we use as well as to gather around homeschool units that we use there is god in all of those pages and i love how the bible was just intertwined throughout all of it so going into next school year i did purchase these books because i have heard so many good things about it so the reason why i ended up picking up this curriculum for next year is because i really wanted my kids and even myself to have a space for them to be able to have like one thing that they're in throughout the whole year that is helping them learn and study the bible and god and what it means to be a christian and things of that sort rather than being like in a different place this book there this book here like let's get this resource rather than doing that i mean it's working for us but it's really hard to dive deep and have deeper conversations that way when all three of my kids are generally doing something different and if we are doing one of those bible studies together um it's just for a time period and then we're moving on to something else so i thought that maybe having something that we do throughout the whole year it's in one place and they can always go back to this and look look at it later on over the years as well so i wanted to try it out i've heard really good things about these and so i will show you guys this is the more than words level one um it says living faith bible curriculum uh they're both written by rebecca spinner and so i'll just read the back of each one of these to you um so you can get an idea of what is included before i do the flip through this one says enjoy the beautiful journey of faith for children as they develop a deeper understanding of god and their relationship with him easy to understand and unafraid of exploring deeper topics this book moves beyond bible stories to create a strong and lasting foundation uniquely designed to echo a personal journal this bible course will be an important step in every young believer's walk of faith and it says more than words level one is divided into four units who god is and some of the attributes of god who we are in good and the basic theology of the roman road what it means to be a christian how to walk in faith day to day level one in the special series is written for first or third grader students and is filled with 36 weeks of stories activities poems hymns character studies art studies word studies and more all designed to help children develop character after completing the course children will have discovered their identity in christ and that cannot be taken away or shaken by opinion or culture so i really really love that um it's really easy to like read the stories to our kids or even tell them like ourselves like this very generic at least for me like this very basic and generic um thing about what it means to walk in faith and what it means to be a christian and who is god but for them to be able to have something to where they can really make those connections on paper and like it said journaling through it all i really really love that here um i already showed this one but this is the more than words level two living faith bible curriculum and i will go ahead and really quickly read the back of this for you just i want you guys to be able to have a really good idea of the difference between the two levels another step in the wonderful journey of faith that will help older children develop a deeper relationship with god each four-day section of this year-long study is integrated with the more than words missions providing a chance for students to put into practice what they are learning about god's word each day the living faith bible curriculum series is is designed like a journal to help students document their lives with christ and learn more about who god is and who they are in god more than words level two is divided into four units who is god who am i to god walking the walk the great relationship level two in this special series was created for fourth through sixth graders students inside you will find 36 weeks of lessons that include faith stories with caleb and salah special missions and scripture studies as well as poetry him and picture cities all of these elements work together to help build the character and faith of every reader give children important important tools to help them test everything with the word of god through reading studying and memorizing biblical passages each week so that just sounds really good honestly okay guys so with that being said i'm going to go ahead and flip the camera around and flip through both of these for you so you guys can get an idea of what is included in the both of them in each level and if you're interested in this curriculum hopefully it will help you determine which one is
