HOME TOUR! My Crystal Haven

hi guys welcome back to another video so i'm so excited because today i am giving you guys a home tour if you guys follow me on instagram you might know that i recently moved and it's basically my dream place so i'm so happy that i finally have a place that i'm so proud to show you guys and yeah i'm just gonna kind of go around show you around and show you how i've decorated things i mean it's still a work in progress um but i can just show you how i have my crystals displayed and some of my furniture pieces and just show you where i live now so i'm gonna stop blabbering and jump into the fun and show you guys around i hope you enjoyed the video first i will start off with one of my favorite features of this place and that is this beautiful fireplace it's the fireplace of my dreams i love the ornate molding on it and right when i saw this i was like i need to live here because i need that fireplace yeah it's just so pretty i think it's like a statement piece it's like almost like a work of art and then up here we have some rose quartz pieces i've displayed and they're actually bookends um i bought them because i thought they were just so beautiful but i never actually used them as bookends so when i came here i was like this is the perfect opportunity to finally be able to display them and i like it because they are kind of symmetrical so i think it it works really well and then down here i just have a few m of this pieces displayed um i love amethyst so i thought that looked kind of nice and i'm so excited for the fall and winter to be able to cozy up by this fireplace um yeah it's just so pretty so since filming the house tour i added a few more crystals onto the mantelpiece and i put all this beautiful rose quartz up here and i think i like it better than just having the two rose quartz at the ends i don't know it just fills it out more what do you guys think and then i added in some more amethyst down there and i think i like that better over here we have my huge bird of paradise and i used to have this at my old apartment and just like for reference my old apartment was a studio and it was about 460 square feet so it was really small and i had this huge plant in there because i couldn't resist i needed to buy a bird of paradise because i'm just so obsessed with their leaves um but it took up like a quarter of my apartment so i'm so glad to finally have a little bit more space where i can display my beautiful baby and right here i have bambi's little cave his little man cave and it's so perfect because it just matches the rest of the place so well so that worked out because i bought this previous to moving in here i didn't even know about this place but it works with the color scheme i think it looks really pretty in the living room over here we have one of the doors that goes out onto the balcony i love this place because it has a door here and a door over there um to go out on the balcony and this is my first balcony so i'm so excited i finally have a place where i can grow herbs uh so i have some roses some herbs and some strawberries out there and some lettuce and some lettuce yes so i'm really excited about that and to be able to just go outside and get some fresh air so one of my favorite things about this place is this huge magnificent couch it is the most amazing couch in the whole wide world um i love it so much and it's huge it's like the big comfy couch any canadians out there if you watch big comfy couch when you're younger well this is even bigger it's huge i've actually slept out here a bunch because when you remove the pillows it creates so much space and it's just like having a bed like two people could sleep out here and it's the world's most comfortable couch um i love it so much and i i just think it totally completes the living room and it's kind of crazy because i've never actually owned a couch or a dining room table just because living in a studio before there was just no room for a couch so yeah it's so amazing having this and when people come over they'll actually have a place to sit i love the huge fluffy white pillows accent pillows it is just my dream couch i can go on and on and on about how amazing this couch is and now i can bring you over to the dining room this is my beautiful cultured marble dining room table it's huge but it's actually been so convenient because now if i film videos and stuff i actually have a table to put stuff on and like kind of have a backdrop so here's a little close-up of my orchid so beautiful and they're my whole dining room set is and one of the things i'm most excited about is i have a beautiful chandelier so pretty i've always wanted a chandelier and i just think it goes so well with my whole crystal theme because i feel like this apartment is kind of crystal theme with all my crystals displayed and i actually spent two whole days polishing my chandeliers but it was worth it because it made such a huge difference it just sparkles like you wouldn't believe where before it was more cloudy and dull but now it's the most beautiful thing ever and it just makes me so happy it's so sparkly and another thing i love about this place is the different heights of the ceiling i think it just adds a lot of character um the ceilings are 9 foot and 10 foot and yeah so the thing is you can't really see the chandelier when you're back here so you kind of have to go over here to see it but that's okay so beautiful and i love all the crown molding even down there it's just beautiful yeah the really high baseboards i think that's really unique and the flooring is limestone and then over here i have this whole cabinet the funny thing is i've actually had this cabinet for so long i bought it at home since a long time ago because i thought it was beautiful but it just was so random in my other apartment and i tried to get rid of it for the longest time but nobody took it and i think it's because it was meant to stay with me because it goes so perfect with this place because it's gray it looks elegant with the mirror um and yeah i really like it so i just have like um jewelry making stuff in there and then over here i have my oxalis plant which isn't looking too healthy i have a selenite lamp and i have a black tourmaline which is a really great protection stone and it kind of sparkles has um mica on it and then i have my two huge salt lamps displayed there that was the big thing for me where am i gonna store or display my huge salt lamps and i think that's the perfect spot because then when you're sitting on the couch at night um you can see them perfectly and i love my salt lamps you guys know that and then over here you can see that's the hallway where the entrance is this is my pantry here where i store some stuff and i love how the doors go all the way up to the ceiling they are nine foot doors i think that the crown molding is so beautiful it's just all in those little details and then that's my coat closet right there right over here by the couch i have my big beautiful blue song this is my blue calcite that i bought in tucson a couple years ago and i've been waiting for the day that i can display it and yeah i think it looks pretty good there i do want to get a side table for right here beside the couch i think that's kind of what's missing in my dreams well this is what i'm hoping for is to get kind of like a crystal side table where the top is made from agate or rose quartz i don't know i'm looking for the perfect one i don't want to settle i'll find it eventually right here i just have my berkey water filter and then i have my [Music] diffuser i have some thieves oil going i think that's a pretty good place for it because it just kind of puts its essence out into the living room but i'll shut that off for now because it's actually been making a lot of noise in the video so um but i'll leave the light on because it's pretty and then this is my kitchen and we're wondering what do you guys think of these cabinets up here do you like them do you think they should be taken out to make it more open um at first we were thinking it would look really good to have them taken out but now i don't know i think it kind of adds a little bit of character and we'll just come over here so i can show you inside the kitchen i have these cherry wood cabinets i love that the cabinets go all the way up to the ceiling and we have the limestone back backsplash to match the limestone flooring and then right down here i have my very own tea drawer just like my mom i copied her well she actually made this for me um yeah i just keep all my favorite teas in there really convenient and then up here i just have my apophyllite crystal i have my anima mundi um herbs i just think they look so beautiful in the kitchen usually i would think to store those in the cupboard but they just look so good on the counter i have to keep them out and then i have my twin quartz clear quartz another square white salt lamp my juicer and then here we have this beautiful gas cooktop and my mom has been loving cooking on it she's been making me the most amazing meals it has the burners and then this is really cool this has a wok element so if you have a wok you can set it on there and yeah it's really an amazing stove it's cooking everything to perfection this is really convenient because um [Music] this it's a double sink but this i actually just fill up my berkey like that so that works out really well and this is super cool it's an instant hot water dispenser so you can have instant hot water for tea so coming out of the kitchen i am gonna show you my favorite room in the whole place can you guys guess what it is okay here it is this is the most beautiful bathroom i have ever seen this is my favorite favorite part of this whole place um it's an absolute dream bathroom i have the double sinks right there i have a little rose quartz lamp i have this amazing rose quartz bowl um you guys if you've watched me for a while you know i bought this in tucson a couple years ago and now i have a use for it i keep my little hand towels in here so when i do the oil cleansing method i have always have fresh face towels the lights up here are so beautiful they are like little mini chandeliers so i polished all six of them i took all the little crystals down and they just sparkle they add so much elegance and just like a feminine touch into the place and then over here i have just a plant and some crystals displayed my toilet garbage can and look at this mirror this mirror right when i found out that i was getting this place i had this mirror in mind i was like i need this if there's one thing i need to get for the place it is the smear so i've been waiting for months to get this and it just showed up today and i could not be happier i think it looks so perfect it's so tall and beautiful this mirror just totally completes the bathroom it was what it was missing um and the first couple weeks or the first month that i've lived here i didn't have a full-length mirror and i tell you it's actually very difficult living without a full-length mirror because you don't know like what you look like like i mean getting dressed and stuff is kind of weird um so i'm gonna close that door and i will show you actually i'll show you this little vintage dress that i'm wearing the puff sleeves i love puff sleeves and down here i have my zc plant uh zz plants are really great for in the bathroom because they don't require a lot of light and they don't require a lot of care so um if i could recommend a house plant it would be a zz plant and it's been loving the bathroom um it's actually sprouted a bunch of new little stalks and it's just so happy in here and yeah so pretty i love having plants in the bathroom and speaking of plants in the bathroom here is my gorgeous shower and i tell you every time i take a shower in here i am in heaven because it is the most relaxing thing so it's got the limestone tiles and then over here is my little jungle so i actually bought eucalyptus to hang i've always wanted to do that so i got eucalyptus um and then here i have my pothos i like to shower with my pothos um i bring it in and out of the bathroom because it does require light but i love having a shower with my pothos and it loves it as well i just have some of my products that i use on these little glass shelves but my very favorite part of this bathroom um something i've always wanted is right here and that is a clawfoot tub isn't this the most beautiful bathtub ever oh my gosh i am so excited to have this i can't believe i found a place that has the clawfoot bathtub i mean think of the vintage photo shoots i'm going to be doing it's just so beautiful and i actually haven't had a bath in it yet um family has but i'm really looking forward to just making relaxing baths and it's just perfect it's just so beautiful and i feel like the kind of ornate detailing down on the claw foot matches that beautiful grand mirror so well and i'm just so excited to have a classic bathtub so i have a bathtub and a shower which is amazing and this is my favorite room in the whole entire place okay so exiting out of the bathroom i'm going to show you another one of my favorite features of this place and that is the closet space so down this hall that goes into my bedroom it's just aligned with these huge closets and it actually is six times more closet space than my other place so i have everything my whole life in these closets so i'll just tell you what is in each of the closets i'm not gonna show you inside the closet because i think that'll be for another video but this closet has all my long vintage dresses um if you guys have been following me you might know that i collect vintage dresses i'm wearing one today but most my collection i keep at my parents house just because i didn't really have um enough storage at my old place um but yeah i'm able to have like about a quarter i have about a quarter of my collection here right now so this is for my long um vintage dresses and then this is my laundry and dryer um towels toilet paper cleaning supplies all that good stuff this one is uh just regular clothes and boxes and i have like muji containers full of like swimsuits activewear i have pillows and like extra pillows and blankets and then this one i just have regular everyday clothes um and yeah just like regular clothes and this one is the fun electronic closet so i actually keep my imac in here and i'm able to watch netflix on it at night laying in my bed and i have my camera equipment in here all my lenses all my gear and i have office supplies in here um so a lot of fun stuff and then here i have um short vintage dresses so i have like my 50s dresses and i have some jewelry sunglasses and oh my luggage is up there as well it's a nice place to store it and then i have my beautiful pothos hanging from the top of the closet and this was kind of the big thing where am i going to hang my super long pothos because it went so perfectly in my other place but yeah it's loving it here it gets lots of sun and it's beautiful i also have my beautiful outfits crystal down here um i've never had a place to display it so um yeah he sleeps with me in here and amethyst is a good stone to have in the bedroom so that's my amethyst cathedral and another one of my favorite features is another chandelier i cannot believe i have two chandeliers it's so pretty at night i just stare at it have all my salt lamps and it just brings me so much happiness keep in mind this is not my ideal bedroom setup basically i just took the furniture that i had at my old place and put it in my bedroom um but it's still super cozy so here i have a dresser with some salt lamps so when i'm laying in bed at night i have my beautiful salt lamps to help me relax up there it's got that nice little ledge little ceiling and then it has the pot lights i think it looks so pretty i love lights you guys like i love salt lamps chandeliers any sort of lights i'm just drawn to it like a moth and then i have two more of my salt lamps up there i want to do something different um i have my poor little um string of pearls it's not doing too good but it's it's getting there and then down here i have another one of my dressers and then i just have some crystals so i have my um jade plant i have my little amethyst candle holder that i have a little succulent in and he's he's lived through so much um i've had him for years and he does so well in there and then here is my little rose quartz station so i have my beautiful big rose quartz sphere i have all my little rose quartz points and this is just to kind of bring love into the whole bedroom and then in here i guess i can show you guys do you know what is in these never-ending crystals as many of you know i had a crystal shop and i am working to get it back up and running but i don't want to show you too much of this stuff because that could be a fun little video for another time i'm gonna get my shop back up you guys because my favorite thing in the world is sharing my crystals because i just think they bring so much beauty into life my dream would be to have a vanity here that is one thing i really really wanted was to have a vanity that i could sit at you know kind of one of those ornate vintage looking vanities but there's just no room you know if i'm gonna have that there there's no room for me to have a vanity so i'm figuring out where i can do my makeup because right now i don't have a spot and the bathroom is amazing but i like to do my makeup in natural light so i'm figuring that out but like i said it's a work in progress it's not my ideal pinterest worthy bedroom but it is pretty cozy i like how i have the salt lamps on either side of my bed at night i just turn off the lights and have my saw lamps on and i think it's so relaxing and i like how right there in the closet i'm able to have my eye back so at night if i wanna you know watch an episode of the office or watch some youtube i have that option and then i can just hide it in the closet and yeah it's just nice having an actual bedroom because living in a studio like i was you kind of eat sleep work live all in one room and i actually think it's pretty unhealthy um because i was finding that i wasn't able to ever turn my mind off because i was just always in this same little box and yeah it was just hard to get creative sometimes and then my refrigerator was so loud it was the loudest refrigerator and my bed is like right next to it so i had all this kind of noise pollution and yeah i think that's bad for your health so i'm so happy to have a bedroom that's away from the refrigerator so i can get a good night's sleep and it's just nice and quiet which i think is so important so yeah and then this is the long haul that goes back into the bathroom or the living room so that is the end of my home tour i hope you guys enjoyed it um i will tell you the crazy story about why i moved here um how i found the place so basically i really wanted to move away i wanted to move far away and start a new chapter in my life because i was just in this rut and i was just doing the same thing over and over again and i just felt like i had kind of lost my passion for life um so i had it set in my head that i was gonna move but then around january my parents sent me this place they were like you should go check this out it looks really beautiful um and i was kind of like there's no point like i made up my mind i don't want to live here anymore but it was a rainy day and something in me something guided me to this place i just felt like i was being drawn to it so i came here to check it out i walked through the doors and i was like i am home and i knew that this is my home so i started manifesting it i was every night before i went to bed i would just visualize this place i would look at the pictures obsessively then i would imagine me putting all my stuff into it i imagined me touching the walls walking around the place i just pretended like it was already mine and with my citrine point i wrote a little thing like i'm gonna get this place it's mine blah blah blah and i put it under my citrine point which citrine is good for manifesting um so i did that and i ended up getting it so i couldn't be any more happier i love it here so much i think it's just so beautiful and it's amazing how you know just changing your space can can change your entire life so that's why i always say you know put things in your living space that you love whether it's plants crystals whatever because it just makes such a big difference and yeah it just kind of goes to show you that even if you are going through a tough time um in life never give up because things can change for you in a split second and there could be something amazing waiting around the corner um so if you're feeling down or anything just know that you know it can turn around so fast and you know even just making a change like if i wouldn't have went to check out this place i wouldn't be sitting here today so it's kind of like you you want to make changes in your life and always keep growing so that's something that i learned from this whole experience so i'm so excited that i finally got to give you guys a home tour after so many years of many of you guys requesting it um but in my last place i just felt like there was no point in doing a home tour because it was so small and it just didn't feel like me it didn't feel like my home it felt more like a temporary place which is weird because i lived there for so many years but i finally got the courage to make a change and i couldn't be happier here i really love it and my other place it was like if i wanted to film something i would literally have to move everything from one side of my studio to the opposite side so filming even the smallest thing was like an all-day task so this is going to be life-changing it's so much more spacious it's just so much more beautiful and i've already been filming some stuff in here and it's just been so easy but yeah you can follow me on instagram if you don't already i do lots of vintage dress photo shoots i do
