[Music] today we will pray the sorrowful mysteries of the holy rosary in the name of the father and of the son and of the holy spirit amen i would like to welcome all of you to this holy rosary let us ask the virgin mary mother of mercy to be comforted and cured of our infirmities both spiritual and corporal and be protected from the coronavirus the prayer requests we have received from you over the internet and social networks have been placed in a box which is now being laid on the altar of the grotto may the virgin mary give courage and hope to those in trouble i believe in god the father almighty creator of heaven and earth and in jesus christ his only son our lord who was conceived by the holy spirit born of the virgin mary suffered under pontius pilate was crucified died and was buried he descended into hell on the third day he rose again from the dead he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of god the father almighty from there he will come to judge the thorns they put it on his head and put a reed in his right hand and kneeling before him they mocked him saying hail king of the jews o lord we offer you this mystery and praise of your crowning with
