squad leader but I wasn't ready for what he had planned I made it off the beach all right Sonny drop those supplies and get in there those things were really weighing me down back in the water you got one guy nearby everyone else had disappeared where is everyone you are standing next to the satchel that was about to explode you saved me yes all right Soldier let's move up to the next position I guess yes sir I can't believe what I've seen here today what's so funny we need to get used to it saw my friends die yep that man had a way with words and it brought me a sense of comfort I was scared and thought friendship would solve my problems so I got to know this fellow private I never thought we'd make it off that beach to be honest yeah me too yeah anyway you got any family waiting back home yeah how about you of course they were there hoping I make it back nice we'll get we'll get back to them yeah we survived the uh Landing so yeah we're gonna get through very inspirational yeah private Jerry and I were able to become good friends after the time we spent together but things got more serious when my captain gave me new orders I had to deliver him supplies follow me private look out private they're they're across the field they're oh I think they got him yeah there's more there's more we gotta get down this road fast my captain needs supplies you take the lead all right seems clear oh I got him I got him this way private let's go down private private baby we're gonna get you out of here my duke you did oh we were both hit that day but I was the lucky one that survived I'll never forget the life lessons that that private had taught me how it is I dropped the supplies I lost a good friend trying to get to you Captain did a good job Soldier Captain what's the just barely got me 45 meters coming for you next good girl about some guy that medic was unable to patch my emotional wounds so I had to just continue with the mission I thought that maybe winning this war would make me feel normal again let's take this point man let's make this not for nothing keep pushing we're almost there get in here you crusty [Music] stay in the church we're getting bombed we need Medics to go search for survivors look out God Gary he killed a friend let me see this faster all right we have to move on we can't get too comfortable we had pushed the Germans back and headed to the next point but something had happened to me along the way enemy there's a tank I know what do we do we pushed I'll follow you oh somehow managed to make it into the field in the void enemy fire I had to crawl two miles to get back to the front lines I was determined to get this war over with in an attempt to restore some peace that I once had just one more point and we're going home home boys oh there's a whole bunch of them crossing the crossing the road Northeast why don't they just give up already I just want to get back to my family me too brother let's get there together we can do this we're almost out of this war stick with me don't give up Soldier hey Soldier the silence told me what I already knew another friend gone my sadness quickly turned to anger and I was ready to take it out on anyone in my path they've killed too many of my friends they're gonna pay I hope one of them catches this grenade in the window look out [Music] where do I go there's nowhere safe grenade look out Soldier move the battle was almost over and if we lost all my friends dying would be for nothing so we had no choice but to continue fighting change it change it oh take us down they're just too heavily defended it's impossible to get in there we at least gotta try let's try let's go keep your head down we can't let all those men that died today die for nothing you bastards I died alongside my brothers on that apple orchard nothing I could have done to change it because as a good friend once told me how it is on War
