His kindness at Wendy's touched thousands. Now we surprise the 'Frosty man' for Feel Good Friday.

your local Ashley home store is spreading good news by bringing you feel good Friday hey everybody made eatin here outside of the East Idaho news-dot-com studios I'm here with Mike price and the story that he shared with you all a few weeks ago is the inspiration behind today's filled with Friday might tell me what happened when you went to Windows so my family night we just decided to meet up at Wendy's the other week to just have lunch together and this older gentleman comes in he sits down next to us I've got a little girl who's almost four and a little boy who's about eight months now he came up and set out you know how cute they were and asked if he could buy a frosty for my daughter and I was like yeah sure go ahead and so he did and he came back he had a few in his hand and the immigrant went around for the rest of time we were there to all the tables that had little kids and just bought Frosty's for him just cuz I don't know why he did a cut to hit made everybody happy then he just sat down and ate his meal and and then Mike wrote about that so Mike wrote about it just a short little column on our website and so many of you reached out to us and said we know exactly what you're talking about and since then we've learned that this guy's name is Steve and he does this regularly at Wendy's probably nearly on a daily basis and so what we're going to do is we're gonna try to track down Steve either at Wendy's or in his house we'll see where the day goes we have a stack of $20 gift cards from Wendy's that Ashley home furniture gave us to give to him so that he can enjoy his lunch make other people happy by buying him Frosty's and hopefully he'll enjoy this so let's go find Steve [Music] hello we're trying to find Steve did you know him he's your husband you know he might be down to Jimmy's so how long is your husband been buying Frosty's at Wendy's a long time before Wendy's he used to go to artic circle pity what just just for fun then you just took well he he like he says I can eat for $1 he goes and buys their value meal the chicken sandwich up is my favorite hold the bun you can get a senior drink for free and he bought those little proxy tags oh yes and so he throws them by the way and then he tells our grandson look I've got to make an edit [Music] Steve how are you we're with East Idaho news we came to hire you to dig it a pond for us yeah I'm Nate this is Mike so Mike do you want to tell Steve what happened the other day when you were at Wendy's so Steve I don't I'm sure you don't remember me but it was a couple weeks ago went into Wendy's with my family and you were there and yet bought my little girl frosty and I just thought that was the just the greatest thing especially after I saw you going around getting Frosty's for everybody else so I decided to write a little story about it and then we decided to come in using nice early oh did you see us the story yes I did well after that so many of our viewers said hey he's done that for me or I know who Steve is oh and and their outpouring was such that we decided every week we do a segment worth Ashley Furniture called Phil Good Friday where we go out and we thank people like yourself in the community for doing good things so we got you a stack of $20 Wendy's gift cards really that's for you you can use them for you to get the mega chicken nuggets or you can get the fries it's all up to you so there you go thank you Wow there you go I was buying them for the kids and they were having a meeting all the owners there and one of them said Steve what are you doing I said I just it just makes me so happy to see them kids smile they get a frosty it's worth it to me and and they said Steve you don't need to buy them whenever you see those them kids and they want to have a frost you just come on oh that's very kind and and that's the kind of folks they are well you're the kind of guy that fulfils it though I mean had it not been for you it's just something small just a little frosty that can make the day better well that's so nice sure you folks goodness there you go take your wife out tonight for a get the mega mega chicken of exercise thank you for making our community better thanks to Ashley Furniture for sponsoring Phil Good Friday we hope you have a good weekend go grab a frosty and you might run into this guy see you later your local Ashley home store is spreading good news by bringing you feel good Friday
