hello everyone I hope you're having a wonderful day uh it's been a few days since I've done a video I've been just super busy but I certainly appreciate all of the comments and all the thumbs up and uh just the encouragement it's just uh wonderful what I wanted to talk about today was an extension on the video I did approximately a week ago where I cleaned out the chicken coop and had the chicken manure and the shavings and things and I put it in this bucket down here and then I filled it with water so that now we've let it ferment basically for a month or excuse me a week and I'm going to now lift this this wood I just put a piece of wood over the top as a lid off and we'll see the water that we have and what we have to be able to use now this is how you can compost chicken manure quickly to be able to use it as a fertilizer so that it won't burn your plants if you put chicken manure directly onto your garden beds it's very hot and a lot of plants will end up getting burned so let's I'm going to lift this up here and there we have is just a bucket full of the shavings you can see and uh there's a little crust on it and you can see we have just a real light colored yeah whatever juice fermented type of juice if you if I pull this up a little bit you can see it's kind of fermented I did stir it once in between on this week to make sure that everything was getting soaked but what I'm going to do now to use this is I want this water so I don't want I don't either want the shavings I just want the water and I'm going to put them put it over to here into this bucket and I'm going to put it in there and it does have a nice uh yeah ripe manure smell for sure and we're going to put in I'm going to put three of these this is not a very you can see it's not a very deep Ladle it's very shallow it was just a dollar store Cheapo Cheapo Ladle is metal that I use in the gardens I'm going to do that now that's all I'm going to use because I just need one gallon of water today for my plants and I'm just going to cover this back up and I'm going to leave it and let it continue to ferment and I'm going to take my my watering can there and I'm going to fill it up with water and then I'm gonna go water the plants that are in the garden that are in need of a fertilizer as well as water so you don't you don't use it full strength you just use and I wish I had exact numbers for you I'm not an exact number person I just try not to go overboard um I think the biggest thing to remember in growing in your garden is you are actually creating soil you're not actually fertilizing plants so the soil around my plants I'm going to put this very high nitrogen fertilizer in and the better my soil the better the plants so try to keep that in mind you want good healthy quality soil so I'm going to go stick this nitrogen drink that we're making here around my plants and I'm going to put around Peppers today and I think the garlic needs to get some tomorrow and we have some cauliflower going in I did use this about three four days ago I used a little bit of it on corn and oh my it loved it it did is doing really well so I'm going to show you that when I get it in the ground but anyway I hope this helps it's uh if you have somebody has a chicken coop this is free I mean you know the chickens give it to you and you don't have to wait for six months or a year for it to compost down and not be so hot so I hope this is of a help and have a great day I'll talk with you on another video bye for now
