companies literally spend hundreds of millions of dollars perfecting their logos and while you may not care about it your subconscious probably does because there's a ton of hidden messages obscured within these logos so let's look at some of the best ones okay so first up is baskin robbins the ice cream brand i do know this one and it's pretty glaring it's the 31 i think it indicates they have 31 flavors okay so that was right but this is interesting so the reason it's 31 is because one flavor represents every day of the month but every month doesn't have 31 days like what if you go into baskin-robbins in a february also i feel like there's a miss opportunity here because in the blue it looks like a 12 which they could just say it represents the 12 months okay next up is amazon i do know this one it's from a to z they have everything in stock from a to z that's what this arrow indicates here kind of lame there's no way like subliminally people pick up on that i feel like this one was an accident but of course like bezos will spin it that it was like a genius marketing idea well i think they know what they're doing i'm pretty sure they're worth like two trillion dollars now and jeff bezos is worth like 350 billion dollars oh next up we have apple i don't know what is going on with apple here so i know that the apple is half bitten but what's the deeper meaning to the apple uh the designer made the bite mark for scale so that a smaller logo would look like an apple and not a cherry you know what that's actually that's true this would actually look like a cherry if this was filled in cherry is kind of a sick name i like cherry a bit more than apple okay everybody in the world knows fedex how they hide this arrow right here if you're just finding this out right now i'm sure your mind is blown because my mind was absolutely blown when i found this out okay so the arrow pointing forward suggests speedy and accurate delivery i was going to make a joke about how fedex is pretty slow but i think out of like the big three or four fedex is actually one of the best i actually just got a new pc and i had an option to like overnight fly it to my house which i have no idea how that's even possible does like fedex own a fleet of planes or something but ever since i had that optionality i've respected the hell out of fedex okay next up toblerone um first of all toblerone is an amazing chocolate it's probably my favorite actually in the logo though i don't know maybe there's something in the mountain oh yeah looks like a deer i think it's a bear actually why would it be a bear isn't toblerone based out of switzerland i don't think switzerland has bears yeah doesn't look like it it turns out it's a bear the bear is the official symbol of the swiss town of bern why do you guys have a bear as your official symbol you don't have bears that's like me on this channel writing like pranks every day like i don't do pranks so like why would i make that associated with my channel okay dell i've never looked too deeply into this because it seems like a very simple logo if i had to take a guess it has to do something with this e right here it looks like it could be a plug representing like electricity um the goal of the company was to turn the world on its ear so it's been said he started with an e what i've spent a good amount of time on wikipedia and i've never really looked at the logo too much but it is pretty cool so it looks like an unfinished globe with puzzle pieces representing different languages and i guess like knowledge nuggets there's probably something to the missing piece that is supposed to like make us crave information i'm sure i'm not a psychologist but that sounds right okay let's see the unfinished globe made of puzzle pieces represents the incomplete nature of the company's mission to be the go-to for information and the fact it's built on user submissions that can never be complete that's pretty cool okay sun micro systems i scroll down but i won't read it right now i don't know it's micro system so does this look like a microchip maybe it says that if you turn the logo around the word sun is always there so it's reliable so no matter how you look at this logo you could read the word sun pretty good design by sun tostitos this is my favorite these two people are sharing a chip dipping it in salsa like somehow they made a logo look very clean while also integrating the main thing you're supposed to do with tostitos okay time for goodwill i always thought goodwill was a bit creepy not like the actual mission of the company which is very good but i think the logo is weird it's like a robot peeking out the face is just a larger version of the g wait this equals this this is a g i thought this was a smiley face i need a moment led a tour friend huh wow this is a really bad logo there's i know they want me to say tour de france because it says it right here i would never just read this logo and say tour de france they got the word lay they put the day in front of tor horrible logo although what i will say is that i'm noticing that the r is a person and this is a wheel this is a wheel so this is a guy on a bike right here i mean the rest of your logo's absolute dog water it's like you sacrificed the accessibility of the logo in exchange for like some cheap little integration wendy's oh well they just circled it for me i don't get it what is this so wendy is dave thomas's daughter who's the founder of wendy's and he named it after her i thought that was like the deepness of the logo but i guess there's like another layer to it which i don't know does it say wow maybe w-o-w okay look closely you'll notice the word mom so the secret message was actually unintentional so they just unintent then it it's not there then it's not a hidden message like to be hidden you have to hide something there needs to be like purpose to not divulging the secret they didn't even know that they were doing this this is such a stretch to call it a hidden meaning okay lg everybody knows lg the good old phones so i've always just thought this logo to be l g i don't know what this dot is eagle eye folks point out that if you tilt your head to the side it looks like pac-man what does that have to do with anything hershey kisses i'm not seeing anything glaring right off the bat there's a third hershey kiss apparently hidden in here look between the k and the i and kisses oh look at that that's pretty cool so just like the fedex logo we saw by merging the letters they've actually created a naked hershey kiss so if you're wondering what's on the inside of this wrapped candy you could just look no further than the first two letters of the logo okay i thought this was the target logo at first and then i thought it was the beats logo but it's actually the pinterest logo it's just a p right it doubles as an illustration of a map pin okay i could see that so this is the pin with that little circle so it's kind of like the google maps logo okay the bronx zoo all i'm seeing is two giraffes and two birds and then this giraffe has a tattoo or maybe a spot of a bird check out the negative space between the animals legs you'll find the new york city skyline oh that's actually really cool so the legs are buildings and i guess that's a bird flying across the top of the city across the skyline oh yeah look at that empire state building i guess like world trade center chrysler building maybe i like that the milwaukee brewers okay um i don't know i always thought it was just like a glove it was a glove with a baseball but it's also mb this is a genius logo i've always known this as a baseball fan as you can see i understood that this was supposed to be a glove but when you really think about the design of this it's beautiful all right unilever i don't like unilever i think they make like dove body wash and stuff oh dove dove body wash there's a dove so maybe like all of their subsidiaries are hidden within the u that would be my guess here okay so the logo uses symbols related to its extensive product offerings look at me i should be on a marketing team hope for african children initiative the logo definitely includes the outline of africa but if you look at the orange and yellow sections uh they're silhouettes of what oh my gosh look it's a person and a child so that's one of those optical illusions where depending on if you're looking at the negative or the positive space you see two different things adidas i think the graph is increasing which subconsciously makes you think that the company is always doing well and like looking out for you and like staying with the trends and doing all this good stuff that would be my guess while also integrating their three stripes and everything that goes with it um so they tend to look like a mountain and oh something like an elite athlete would climb up okay beats by dre i'm understanding now what i'm supposed to be looking out for so i do see this is actually really cool it's a head and then the b is headphones on the head this is a really good logo because it's so simple there's like two elements right it's the red and the white so it's the circle and the b but it also doubles as a head and headphones which is the only thing that they're really marketing because they're headphones this might be my favorite logo yet actually although it kind of looks like the target logo it actually is the target logo if you fill this in red and add like another white stripe so this one's pretty cool so the coca-cola logo accidentally has the denmark flag included in it and they use that to their advantage when they market it in denmark because it looks like they basically made coca-cola for the danes which they actually didn't but i mean who's gonna do that research that's a good example of using unintentional messaging to your advantage so yeah that's it if you wanna see some more mind-blowing information then check out this video on the mandela effect [Music]
