- Hey Steve! - [Steve] Hey. - I'm a single mom and I've been on this dating
scene for a few years now, but I'm at the point
where I'm just looking for someone that's into God and just a purpose mate, but the flip-side of that is when I go to church
all I see is single women and they're in their 50s and 60s and they're still waiting for
God to send them a husband. So, I just want to be proactive and I want to know, where can I
go to meet a God-fearing man? And can you help me with that? - Okay, first of all, let's get rid of one myth, that if you go to church,
you're going to find a good man. (Applause) Let's just... (Applause) Now, a lot of people clapped. Hmmm Most of everybody in here been to church. (laughter) Wasn't one in there was there? If he was in there, he was up top, he was up front talking. The other one was collecting the money, (laughter) and the other one was sitting in there and he belong to somebody already. So, if you're wanting a man to find you, here's the secret to it, you just gotta open up
your pool of awareness. What I mean by that is, you gotta put yourself in a position where more men know you are
available to be captured. Now you wanna be captured. (applause) So here's the problem, here's what you do. You go to the same church every Sunday. Ain't no new men walking in here. (laughter) You go to the same grocery
store, they not down there. (laughter) You go to the same P.T.A. meetings, they in there with their kids. - Right. - Chances of him being single are slim. Now, listen to me, some women don't like dating sites because they're old fashioned and they don't wanna be in there. Here is the reality of today, 65 percent of all marriages
come from online dating. (Applause) That's the reality. (Applause) Now let me tell you something, if you do this smart, you can win because all you want is your
picture on a dating site that says, "I'm available." Stop filling out your dating
profiles with ignorant stuff. "I want a man within an hour of my house." Your soulmate may not live
an hour away from you. Your soulmate may live four hours away, or eight hours away, but if he's your soulmate,
he's gonna find you. (Applause) So you go on the dating site, you put a real picture up, what a man cannot stand, don't put your high school picture up. (laughter) You must look like the picture, 'cause we aesthetic people now. What we see on the picture, that's what we want to
show up on the date. (Applause) If you got some size on you, put the picture on with some size on you 'cause a man gonna want
you just the way you are. (applause) There ain't no problem. Every man that's looking for a woman, all us ain't in shape, let's just be real. Tell the truth. Put yourself on these
dating sites and sit still. "I've been on here two weeks and "ain't nobody call me." You've been single six years. (applause) Why is the two weeks bothering you? Take your time, slow down. (applause) It's only two weeks.
