Hey Steve: A Questionable Morning Ritual

hey Steve so uh you know I just graduated college I got my first big boy job got my big-boy pants on and saw me I'm on my 9 to 5 grind and you know but for me to feel like I'm you know being the best I can be I have to find my morning routine yeah it's a process I wake up way before my roommates and I got my coffee brewed and I go into the bathroom with my headphones on I'm butt-naked I got my cup of coffee I got my headphones and I got my youtube on and I'm looking at motivational videos I'm looking at music videos I got it's just me chilling on the toilet and you know when I come out of there I'm a whole nother beast I'm a dog I'm an animal yes I was curious because you're so successful you know am I missing something should I be doing something more in my routine and my ritual to become more like you I mean I got time I can listen are you sitting on the toilet drinking coffee I I kind of like my coffee to have a certain flavor to it you normally see part of me enjoying my coffee until Roma otter coffee what I can't do is mix the aroma at coffee with another robe should I be doing something else maybe I don't know I thought what I was doing seemed pretty right but obviously not hey no no no hey man do you yeah I'm gonna do me look you wanna sit on the toilet drank coffee watch YouTube listen to music videos if that's what's working for you let it keep working for you now you got some roommates right now let me tell you what's going to happen you gonna meet the chick of your dreams she gonna cut all that out see once a woman don't understand you're taking coffee in that bathroom you gonna have to find another ritual ain't too many women going to understand that now they're probably let you put the handsets on and watch your little videos and stuff but you're not gonna take that in China we got in that bathroom I think it's gonna be difficult man are you dating surprisingly not at the moment so no it's not surprising it's not surprising anybody surprised ta date right now good-looking guy nice-looking young man college degree working out staying in shape he hosted it he grinded it's just you know that morning ritual it is what it is I wouldn't tell it to anybody the only problem you got now is since this is a national TV show you go Bo you too [Music] let me tell you something man whatever you got to do to motivate yourself to get your mind right that's what you got to do I wake up in the morning mine starts with the gratitude prayer I start every morning just thanking God for everything I can think of it takes a minute so what I did was on my iPhone I wrote down about 6065 things that I want to make sure I say I'm grateful for every morning so I just say because for me it keeps me from starting my day off in a bad mood like some mornings you just wake up you're just not your usual self someone is your biorhythms is off and you're just not you I don't care who you are how motivating you are it happens to the best of us but the way I combat that is to wake up with gratitude gratitude erases most misery and so once I show gratitude I balance my day we'll be right back hey you made it to the end of this video I got a lot more that you're going to enjoy so just click to watch the next one and make sure you subscribe to always know what's happening
