Hermitcraft 8 008 | MOST DIFFICULT TEGG YET! 🔥

hello everybody welcome back to another episode of hobbycraft season eight with me full symmetry and today we're in front of my base because there's something i need to show you may have already seen it in gems video but basically gem and i did some work over here as you can see uh we cleared a load of trees around the outskirts of the swamp and then we basically decided hey we want to path everything up make everything connect properly and basically uh make this area a little bit more prepared for what we want to do in the future which by the way we don't really have a solid plan right now we have ideas rolling around but uh who knows things can chop and change but that was a really fun little project to do with gem i did it whilst live streaming hence why there was no collab footage but um that has really made me think how i want to actually hook up this base eventually when i make it but you know what i'm not going to worry about it for now i've got this little uh platform here which leads basically to directly underneath the eagle which uh you know we should quickly go just say hello to because i feel like you know he's been over here for a little while also before you guys get to the comments yet again yes i probably should have added some movement to this but it's okay it's it's basically this is the strongest wood known to man and it doesn't get affected by the wind okay okay okay yeah i'm glad we're all agreed with that and also as for on top of the eagle i'm gonna mess with that another day but i do want him to start putting this land up pretty soon so hopefully by next episode he will have started doing that and uh that makes me think that instead of having a shop on the eagle itself i should have at the shop on the land that he is holding up so i think that that might work a little bit better but we'll find out anyway there's one last thing to mention before i do actually start today's video and that is that if i press tab we are at 256 meaning i now deserve let's go um a medal for 250 days i think i needed to like you know um a better medal because i built that without wings so uh you know just see okay in case cisco leader wants to give me an extra prize or something for that then feel free but having done that all without wings it has made me think you know what i kind of want wings and i do have a pair sitting in this ender chest right here and i've just put mending on it and it's tempting it's so so tempting so by the end of today's video i may or may not sign up for the wings club because i miss flying guys okay if you if you know you know it's it's just so sad not to be able to fly around the amazing builds that are around my area so i like there is one other little tiny thing i have been getting on with and it is in this room down here as you can see i did a little bit of work again on live stream i'm running out of time to do things that aren't on live stream at the moment irl things are a little busy you know you know when things just get busy yeah uh so i'm trying to you know really work my time uh well but anyway this is what the room looks like now it looks uh kind of cool i basically wanted a bigger portable room uh that looked kind of a bit like a cave now of course there's no detail but i want to add some sort of mossy weld down there underneath the glass i could have done the misti glass where i add layers of it but i didn't want to do that but also after live stream i realized that i hadn't actually utilized this yet and i thought how cool would it be you know say i'm in a different part of my base or i'm over here and i want to get to the nether and i don't want to use you know that portal over there maybe instead of going in the house down the stairs you just come this way down here and in here i thought it kind of could be kind of cool door there and you can get into the portal quicker but i guess it doesn't matter this kind of works too a little winding road isn't going to be an issue anyway so let me go on with that for a little bit and uh oh actually i've got this stuff on me so let's do that bit first so i'd really really really love to do something with the ceiling but if i dig this up you can see that is the floor of the room above you know i say probably could have dug this down a couple more blocks move the portal down a couple more blocks but anyway i'm really happy with down here and i did think why on earth not oh i haven't got him on me but my little fella the axolotl that i got uh a few episodes back i haven't done anything with him yet i haven't even placed him yet i'm just so nervous that he's just gonna run away but i was hoping he would kind of like this area and like chill in it and like hang out and be really adorable and stuff and um uh by the looks of it he kind of likes it yeah look at him go he's having a great old time so yeah might be a cute little place to keep my little pet axolotls i'm a little worried that they're gonna come out through this hole here but um yeah we'll we'll we'll decide what to do with that when uh it comes to i'm hoping that's not going to be an issue but i will probably add some detail to the walls but for right now i think this looks much better than what i had previously which if you remember was just a small dirt room with a mini portal in it so uh i'm happy with this good job false we did it well this is complete there's now a little doorway through and a little tunnel through to the front and um yeah one thing i should mention as well i've added a new way down here which is just a plain old oh there you go water source down into the cave down here so i now have a way up and down it's just a non-bubble elevator but you know what for another bubble elevator it's pretty quick so i get back up out here pretty easy but now it just means i have a better way up and down uh rather than the weird ladder that was just coming through here directly which uh yeah we had to get rid of okay so the plan has changed the taker seems to be very close to being got and i believe that pearl who lives all the way over there very far over there has it so uh i think if there's any time to go get wings it is now i've got my wings here and uh yeah i think i'm gonna go find the no fly club no no the yes for the yes wings what the what was it called yes women's club yes wings club i'm not sure anyway we're gonna go find that i actually don't know where it is um and then we try and go for the tag unless someone beats me to it in which case we don't there you go let's fly oh my goodness oh my goodness oh my goodness there you go i'm no longer in the wings club oh my goodness i've just thought i don't actually have any rockets yet so i might need to go to the rocket shop first now this has got to feel pretty cool right oh my goodness i'm gonna waste two just getting up here oh but it's so worth it this is what the top of the eagle looks like right now oh and i'm very very happy about it okay oh look at this look at this i can now show you what things look like from above oh it's beautiful right well i guess i'm heading that way to the wings club whatever it's called i i don't know anymore also gems buildings amazing stuff let's follow this track and assume that's it that's the one let's just hope i don't need diamonds to sign up okay well that went swimmingly ah i just met jem and wells doing some interior design work over there well this microphone was a little bit dodgy so who knows if i'm going to use any of the audio but um we're now going to try and head with the 10 rockets we have left over to i guess the bottom crew uh to see if well one they have rockets that'd be nice i might need to use an iou lapis again though um which i already owe them wait which direction are they i hope they're over here okay this is the place right yes okay what are these two sticks and what dive but cool well i hope he's okay with the lapis and i owe you lapis which i need to i need to take a rename but i will promise to come back here and it's and it's only impulse that i actually owe so uh i'll be sure to let him know that i i plan to oh hi paul's here should we shall we sit here and fly pearl to see if she she can show us where the tag is hi just hold casually holding some uh lapis which i'm gonna just go into your uh build i'm assuming this is her bill oh she doesn't have an anvil who has an anvil around here so yeah if paul asks we just tell her that we're totally not here for tag and then we're totally here just to use the uh let's just use this we're gonna be here for quite a while though okay so it is time uh to go into pearl's face now uh since she's online no wait she's left she's left okay well that's i guess better than i was gonna say i won't bother being too visible out here but i guess it doesn't matter ah let's just oh i guess it's not helpful uh let's just go in for now and uh maybe look around the inside cause i guess that's probably where most people have put it right most people put it inside their bases rather than the outsides and i believe pearl's oh base is quite small but that's a lever there's an axolotl below it wait wait how do i get down there is that just to leave before oh maybe let's just leave for that trap door um either way that looks kind of sus right speaking of trap door okay it's definitely down there isn't it i'm gonna go up first though yeah okay so there's two little axles up here too and my head which isn't harmful but yeah i do need to get pearl back so if i can get this tag i guess it's the best thing but oh my goodness you know what i'm gonna have to definitely have a fly around if it's not down below wait this all trapped up oh no oh no wait wait wait wait she's called sidetracked there's so much noise there's so much minecraft noise how do i get into swim mode there you go oh hi is this even the place i want to be i don't think it is okay well uh it's definitely gonna be you know what this is death this feels like very much like javon's puzzle i bet she's uh taking a bit of a device so i guess let me do level by level here with this you know what i've decided i'm coming back here very very quickly with my rockets and i'm gonna go get some potions water breathing if i can if i can actually you know annoy back see if i can find any puffer fish if i can do that then great and also if there's water there may be lava there might be darkness so i'm gonna try and get night vision yeah i'll get i'm just gonna get whatever i've got there a bit maybe even some invisibility but look how close her base is to mine when i fly oh i'm so glad i decided to get rid of the wings or add the wings i'm sorry guys if you wanted me to stay in that club forever but it's just not gonna happen well this is what it's resorted to yeah i can't seem to find any puffer fish in the water itself so fishing it is and we did it yes okay that was probably about my seven fish so uh i wasn't titty bad at all okay i'm back potion at the ready and no i don't believe this is cheating i'm not breaking any blocks or anything so posters are more than allowed right wait a second wait a second wait a second i just saw this hey i just saw the take i just saw the tick i just saw the tank i just saw the tank please tell me this goes to the tag room please i don't have the piston with me no i dropped this onto a torch right oh my goodness i'm so glad i remember that i literally just panicked for a second oh my okay screenshot of the day screenshot of the day um i got the tag again how did i man it how did i manage that where does this go back to the room no this has brought me to a village air area oh no now i'm lost in her base oh no wait no i was back wait how am i meant to get back to the locker room i hear my stuff wait pearl i've already forgotten how i got down there no wait how did i get down there again it was this water thing wasn't it okay wait no no no i took a screenshot right it was sow here no not there it was south here no not there it was south here is it this one this one looks looks lighter i haven't got any water breathing anymore okay but please please please ah oh my goodness um how cool uh i'm going with the tank i'm dying should have lit up the tag area uh and they have died with it [Laughter] wait no but now i'm back here wait can i get oh there's so much panic going on right now how do i okay wait is it in there right now how do i oh my goodness i'm so confused i wanted to get back okay back this way again oh my goodness oh your place is an actual place this one oh that one is it this one that one that's the one ah fountain found where i died farmer died i've got the tag i've got the tech leave it leave it leave leave leave leave i'm just leaving this i'm leaving this i'm leaving this i'm saving the tag okay i've got the tag um okay okay okay let's please can i leave now i am traumatized about from this this has traumatized me to no end i'm not even wearing my wings the tag is safe okay let's leave i am so done oh that was incredible but also the most stressful thing i've done this season which is saying something uh to be completely frank anyway i'm glad that's over with so i guess it's now up to me to do something with the tag i currently have it in my inner chest and i have a few days to uh in game at least to uh set up something cool for the hermits now i have a little plan in mind i just need to do a bunch of research to actually make the whole thing work so what i'm going to do is get a load of blocks together just sort of decorate this thing just very roughly because i am running out of time is like late for me and this thing might take a little bit of digging but once i get all these blocks together hopefully it shouldn't take me as long as uh it can so hopefully fingers crossed we should be okay but i'm gonna need a bit more iron than this so iron doors are definitely gonna be whoa okay that's that that should hopefully be enough uh i does definitely gonna be the major thing that and signs so if you guys guess what is i'm building for this then get to the comments now and uh answer and see if you're right but um yeah this is gonna be trixie even for me to just build so the challenge for both me and the hermits and beautiful so i wasn't going to give you a sneak peek of what i built but then i recorded this little time lapse here and well uh i can tell you right now someone has already done it uh i did not have the tag for very long at all let's just say it's very sad but hey i spent a couple of hours on this i'm hoping they at least enjoyed it and don't hate me too much it was a little bit tricky but yeah if you can guess all this is in the comments get to i'm sure their video is already up and you guys are cheating but anyway uh there you go well that's it from me today so much for some building the tag took over the episode but you guys know what it's like when you're at the end of the tag you're very very close to winning you've gotta you've gotta give her your best shot okay you gotta give it your best shot and that was er almost my best
