hi everyone and welcome back to my channel and if you're new here welcome welcome uh before i get started i do want to say is that i hope everyone is staying healthy and safe during this time also i wanted to say is thank you so much if you have subscribed or have liked my video i really really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart so now let's get started with today's topic and that is unboxing the hermes herbeck 31 let's start [Music] so just a quick disclaimer before we get started i am no way and even close to being expert in hermes um this is everything just what i personally feel about the purse itself and just the overview of my own experience so let's start so the hermes her bag was actually discontinued in the mid 2000s and it was actually reintroduced in 2009 um so i did a little bit of research and what i found the biggest difference between the discontinued version and the new version is actually that they added a little pouch or a sit back in the back so that's why it was reintroduced as state or mess zip her bag mainly because of this so it's more of an easy access to get your card or keys for this one here the herb bag in general the shape is actually very very similar to the kelly so it's actually often referred to as the starter pack to the hermes collection personally i feel is pretty good because the pricing is much lower than their classic kelly or birkin it's quite nice to actually get one of this and just to try it out to see if you like the style first and if it's suitable for you and then if you do um you can actually dive into the hermes collection addiction um so in general the material of this bag is that it has the leather trimming on the top as well as the handle and also the shoulder strap so it just hits right below the hip area so what i was told from that essay is that you shouldn't spray anything onto this untreated leather um anything on here could actually damage it so even if you splash water or oil it could potentially leave a stain to it on the bottom is actually made from canvas this one here actually is more of the inverted stitching so it's actually more bulky compared to this one here it has more of a sleek slimmer figure i would say that's the biggest differences and then it's pretty light in general i would say uh not bad at all compared to some of the leather bags might be a little bit heavier in general now um for the good and the bad so let's start off with the good first um the good about this is that it's very lightweight i think that um that's something very important to me i find that when i use a purse that is quite heavy i'm only use a few times and i probably won't bring it out anymore so that's very important to me that's number one number two is that i find that the style is very versatile so you could be casual like me right now and it matches really well or you could be business casual or even in formal outfit i think it will look really really cute so i think this bag is for very versatile in that way so you do get your money's worth um another pro about this one is that it is more than enough space for me i don't carry too much with me so this is more than enough inside and maybe in the next video um i will do a what fits in this bag um as my next video as well um and another pro about this one is the price the price is definitely really well for what it is and i find that um to own a hermes bag at this price is very worth it so that is my pro about this particular purse um and now for the con which is the not good part about this one here is mainly for me would be the leather which is the top area over here it's the untreated leather where the essay said it will be very easy to stain such as oil or rain and it rains a lot in vancouver so maybe on those rainy day i cannot use this one here and another con for me is that the lock here um it might be a bit harder to um buckle but what i find is that i do put more of the ones that i use more often items on this sip area over here so that i don't always have to unbuckle it another con actually goes back to this one here so if you actually open it up and you see how there's actually a little thing on the bottom it's actually already scratched and i this is pretty new so it's already scratched and i find that this leather actually scratches really easily um so if you're someone who is a perfectionist you cannot have a single scratch on your bag this might not be something for you um for myself i find that um maybe not the scratches but if um as time goes by it does wrinkle a little bit it just gives it a little bit more characteristic so that's something that could be a pro and a con so just depending on personal preference as well um another con for me about this particular bag is that um it's not a bag where you say you want this particular color you want it right away you walk and you can get no definitely not you do have to check the availability with an essay or call them and ask if they have it available and if you like one that is limited edition it might only be available for that season or that year so you do need to like keep your eye out on it but in general i think um the pro or the good part about it does overcome the negative part of it so i think it's uh pretty good in general um so the bag itself does comes with a little lock in the back here and it does come with two keys something to note is that if you lose the key you will not be able to open the lock you cannot take another her bag key to open that lock each lock is very unique to its own so please note on that and don't lose the key for myself i just put it here one here as decoration and the other key i just hide it away um in case i do touch what loses this one so the biggest difference between these two is not only um that the canvas is a little bit different where this one's more of a crisscross and this one is a plain color um it would also be the outside stitching here um where this one is on the inside is inverted it gives more of a bulky type of figure i'm not sure if i'm using the right term sorry if i am wrong but this one here is more of the slim figure where you can actually see the stitching on the side as well so that would be the biggest difference between these two oh and one more thing is what it looks like on the inside so i do want to show you what it looks like um inside does come with a pouch attached so it's pretty nice um it has a little sip so you could put stuff in there as well um inside there is looks like that it doesn't have any other
