If anyone decided to marathon the show because of this post (and you should), be aware that it is extremely continuity heavy, and there are some problems with the episode order that you should know about.
A good sign that meditation is becoming more mainstream. I hope it can continue to be a powerful force for goodness and change in people's lives. Thanks for sharing.
This is really really awesome. Partly because the song in itself is catchy and happy :) To people with anxiety, this is a gift because in our better moments, we can sing or hum this tune to reinforce the idea!! Thank you Cartoon Network. This kindles my love for cartoons all over again! I've never watched this show, but now, HELLOOOO STEVEN UNIVERSE!!
I'm here from /r/stevenuniverse and let me tell you- this show is nothing like what you might imagine when you think of cartoons. We're talking about a show that covers anxiety, depression, PTSD, the loss of loved ones, war, genocide, discrimination, the deep interworkings of relationships, and the LGBT+ community, and it does it in such a good way. Now if you decide to watch the show, Season 1a isn't like this, it's much lighter and fluffier. But it's still important, because as you move into Season 1b and especially 2 and 3, little meaningless plot points from before fall into place and start to make sense. It's really worth watching just for all the topics it covers. This show will make you feel. It will make you feel a lot. If you marathon it be sure to bring some tissues.
Ps. The main character who's singing; Garnet, is voiced by Estelle. Just in case the voice sounded familiar to you.

When my bf started recording this show I rolled my eyes. I'm not usually into cartoons these days but I've now seen every episode multiple times and I think it's fucking amazing. There are so many awesome messages tucked into this "kids" show.
Well Im sold, I think Ill need to check this show out.
