Heard this faint little meow from the trash pile. Got closer to check it out. Found a kitten. Examined the kitten closely. Its eyes haven't even opened. Looks like it's just been born. No sign of a momma cat nearby. Poor little thing seemed abandoned. Worried about its safety. Decided to take it home and care for it. Got a pup's nest at home. Figured it'd make a good spot for the kitten. Got some goat milk powder from the store. Mixing it up to feed the kitten now. Doesn't seem to smell the milk yet. Trying to get it to drink goat's milk. Still not drinking on its own. Looks like it needs my help to finish the meal. Kitten's full, getting sleepy. Letting the pup be its mom. They're sleeping together. Dog's really sweet about it. Doesn't mind the kitten snuggling up. Next day, Dog's up early, kitten's still snoozing. Little lazy thing. Giving the dog some snacks first. Kitten seems to smell the food now. Kitten's up too. Umbilical cord's fallen off. Time to feed it breakfast. Trying to get it to drink on its own. Still not taking initiative to eat.
