Headlight Restoration Kit | Meguiar's Heavy Duty

we're going to restore these headlights right here for a Toyota Celica they're really out of shape although they work you can be able to see anything out of it so started affecting the night time driving I got this McGuire's heavy duty headlight restore kit and I'm gonna guide you through it see how it works and before and after part see what they claim is right actually they're claiming before and after like this I want to see that is the case on these ones there is such a bad shape it's about 2002 so that's you're looking at a 14 year old headlight year so we're gonna see how much it can restore I'm not looking for magic air but I can open them up a little bit so let's get going alright I open the box this box had the kit this orange microfiber coat it came in these two solutions I want to say I came in the box these two pads it's like one of them is like sandpaper that's that paper right there and then this is the part where it goes on your drill and instructions this is my drill I'm going to use just a standard drill I'm going to hook it up over here I have an extra towel just to dry everything make sure the weather is cool right now it's raining we're in Florida kind of like its 80s so I call this a cool weather 82 so make sure it's not too hot the garage gets really hot and make sure this thing is not what when you're doing it so that's first thing first I'm gonna go ahead and dry this so it's dry when you're applying anything make sure it's all dry so we're gonna get going after everything is dry I'm gonna put watching over all right so out of the box I got this on Amazon but they showed me a handle it's like this you show you what it is right here where the actual pad sticks to it and you push it to kind of like you know use it to scrub the stuff like just like that yeah it's much better actually easier like this what you paint you don't want to scrub your pain actual they suggest putting some kind of tape around it but I'm careful so I'm gonna wet it again these one of these dried out completely dry and even foggy okay we use this thousand pet they call the thousand you can see P thousand two cent paper a little bit now we're going to switch to this one p 3000 and I'm going to get this surface wet and keep doing what I'm doing and I'm gonna go ahead and dried like I did before on the previous step all right that's nice and dry so second step done and it's dry okay the next step is to use your drill so you attach this and you put a little bit of this on the nickel-sized they set but also says use as much as you may need these two nickel-sized don't take care of it so you open and apply this obviously it's I have to open it up and peel it off now make sure to not get much of the stuff on the page not that it's going to permanently damage it but the drill man and start with a smaller try to keep this straight and put it on it's not easy to keep like that and right eye we're going to apply as needed so I see like there's more need to apply on this obviously it's helping so I'm going to go ahead and that's why a little more I'm gonna keep doing this after I charge my battery a little bit and gets one down one to go see this one right here to the right how clear that is I get closer you see like how yellow it is on the left side I've been working on this see more spots to go on this one and then I'm going to switch to that one these are your headlights look at the difference so hopefully you'll have more light when you drive at night and why this protectant right here shake well before use obviously and then I'll open it up to protect the shininess of this you can be more careful obviously when she goes that is the headlight we got that's what it was usually you can see the color like how dark and yellowish right here I'm gonna go right all right now probably you can see the difference right there yep I'm 100% positive it's going to improve the performance of this light I had more headlight coming out of it probably so I'm going to get going with the other one but this is what you're looking at so I'm going to stop the video over here this is basically working so not as much as what they promised on there but obviously they have to sell the product so it's not exactly what you're looking at like in the Box on the box says you know what I mean I see a difference
