this week on hermitcraft that's in 1.14 you can buy quartz which would be absolutely fantastic just wait until you see how easy it is to farm emeralds welcome to the Hermit Craft recap my name is pixel reps our writer is Lou XP and we have it on good authority that Python won't be the only blast from the past we see returning to hermit craft dock M has already been teasing on Twitter that his time-travel tech can support a human person but practically yesterday an insight source we apparently have confirmed that an inactive hermit will in fact be making a comeback exactly who that would be he remains a mystery for now but the video is scheduled to come out more or less in an hour from when the recap goes live anyway so let's get some hype and hope it's not just set up in pink spandex again and we've that out of the way let's take a look at all the events and mishaps that occurred on the hermit craft server this week and yeah lots of speculations guys pretty much nobody really called it starting with a Zuma also going backwards the flying machine built to drown the new mushroom island he also decided to take over was built in the opposite direction from where it should have gone thankfully he realizes it before he presses the big green Go button it's never all one minute into it oh yeah oh look look I've made a mistakes never you know halfway through it's always when I'm finished it's always when I'm finished peeps that I realize I've made a colossal derp and I've made a colossal derp but the most magnitude of orders despite all that the submerging of the area is successful most of the land below is devoured by a water curtain as if by the hands of a reverse Moses Wow okay first thing I want to do fly rocket for all we can't see anything now this made local Drowned happy enough to tug at the mob camp so they have to be dealt with it which is why Zuma then spreads sea lanterns across the ocean floor done playing with water he moves on to the next available element the floor is lava minigame was fun on the inside so it's about time it got fun on the outside Green had himself a reverse situation the Haunted Mansion he built at the mini-game area was planned for a floor is lava game - but addy a parkour course over the furniture so I could just put some normal paintings up and like they could go in they might not always be a gap like for this one you can kind of see in there but if I run in and I take the leap I could just hit the wall flat wool is it just invisible there's no back to these so you can see out of it that's weird the usual risk reward system comes into play again as whoever paid the price of admission is free to gather as many price tokens as they can assuming they can make it back without going all Terminator - I get I get the paper and then yadda yadda yadda at the old shopping district agreein takes it to the Sahara warehouse where he built up a second storefront one fourth fancy people named Sahara now this is where they sell the DLC maybe that's why it looks like they've just attached a Sahara amiibo to the main console another warehouse doesn't crack as easily green is still not wanted at area 77 well he is just not as a visitor in an attempt to steal his time machine and villager friend back Green breaks into the main facility and even bypasses the retinal scanner by wearing a Doc M head but to no avail the device was transported somewhere and someone else I can't take on this task alone I'm gonna need some help not giving up yet Green sets up camp a van at the border naturally the sound of fighting the man and the blasting of Creative Commons tombs instantly attracts rent Bob the hippie and they join forces for a future storming jump into Beauty depth Usagi did you collect the kitty horn man hang tight brother rip bugs underway again that's not the only time gray an encounter someone from the Rennes dog Cinematic Universe because Rennes classic innocently invites him over to try out some Mechanics for the speedy Pines raceway unbeknownst agreein Rennes mariokart inspired item dispensers aren't meant to be part of the game at all it's all just a ruse to have green pick up the hot potato unfortunately for Ren agreein had an empty space in his hot bar at the time and the potato Inge was all the more obvious I mean it was the piece of try right right here's your punishment for your next episode you must wear tomato Yoshi's skin for the entire episode Randy do you realize you've got to do this now what yes which explains why Ren gives the entire following episode over to his ninja alter-ego tomato Yoshi who gets some help from Doc m77 to visit a brand new world and try out this Minecraft his young students have been talking about so much and it's lucky the master of ninjutsu was used to a life in the sewer because he spent a lot of time out on the water trying to avoid dangerous green things all right okay wait you want where where do you want to go tomato Yoshi is very fond of long walks on the beach mr. Dawkins 77 meanwhile back at the race track Rann is in desperate need of ice and seizes the opportunity to cut a deal with a Sahara member he didn't just try to prank inviting a scale to a business meeting they agree that a Sahara will supply all the ice for the Raceway in exchange for sole advertising rights on racetrack billboards and the track is officially named at the Sahara speedy Pines Raceway it's just rubbish in the corners of garbage everywhere and you suddenly start to think to yourself maybe this business isn't you know quite the business that I thought it was holes in the window and stuff just saying that there sir is an exit route but what became of the hot potato well with Korean still in the mood for mischief together he and Ren track down an afk azuma and fling the spud into his waiting inventory as well as equip him with a full set of cursive binding and a Ren dog head oh no no oh he's turned me into Ren dog as well how the humiliation that's not even the silliest costume he's worn this week while stress monster is working on her contribution to the minigames area she gets a visit from the totem of undying fairy the aforementioned minigame is a jousting arena complete with silly costumes of its own both for the riders and the horses got to be color-coordinated while you're flinging trident at your opponent's noble steed the entry fee is tendons each and the winner gets 15 which means stressful pocket 5 each time the game is played in the mean time having spent over her last few diamonds on wood and grass for the arena it's a good thing she receives an offer from a Scouts who subcontract all the blue ice for Ren's Raceway with the ice queen dams Treasury refilled she heads back to her castle and splashes out on banners real estate in the mini-game district is hard to come by which is why Joe Hill's tries to get the lay of the land from Scott this is like that movie about the two dogs and the cat in this case I'm two dogs scar as a cat and our undiscovered minigame after tracking down a patch that looks big enough for his rollercoaster Joe starts scaffolding out the path players will take and the occasional turn offs where they'll be flung into lava for making too many animal noises so you don't have to be Shack for this next part of the video to be relevant although if you are Shack hi I really liked you in that movie where you are a genie here's hoping this minigame will make Joe enough money to not have to keep working for Concord according to cop fan both him and green are the two most active contributors to their buyback program and we made an additional 12 diamonds with this buyback program people doubted that we would make money off the buyback program but they were wrong and working for con Corp is kind of sad when all of your colleagues do nothing but who and stare judging Li the diverse villages of Concord worldwide can work in better conditions now KUB added a separate bills to Harris their workstations which is looking pretty sweat for a sweet shop their trades now upgraded to the highest level are soon exploited for the shiny green stuff and quality wares synthesized out of thin air yeah all the pieces of armour you see over here we're actually provided by this Armour who will eventually be inside this working on the second floor in another move of capitalists brilliant scub moves in on the sahara êtes territory though you wouldn't know it because he can simply drive away yep it's a food truck parked somewhere in the vicinity of hermit land selling not just the golden carats but a bunch of foods grown and put together by villages somehow now as long as the two stores don't have a who has the tallest shop competition will all be fine we also have suspicious stew also from the farmers I'm not really sure what some of these are honestly not all of kubbs activities have profits in mind especially when Titan makes his return to the server and discovers that stonemasons can trade him quartz we've mined a while back you a few months ago and you still need more don't need more I certainly do and stonemasons villages everything in 1.14 they seem like the most you know magical approached Cub has a few villagers going spare and polythene relocates them to his tower bay build project having burnt out on mining quartz from the nether a while ago hopefully this new source of shiny blocks combined with a Zoomers emerald block shop will give him all the supplies he needs I sure hope that's the case because if I get this wrong then I'm about to kill a villager here we go my friends who's such a bad idea why every stroke to the imagination oh hello his other weapon in the fight against burnout is getting back to nature in the medieval district choosing a lake to dip his toes in the only landmark of which is a ring of greens alight for a flying course python starts turning it into a lake of life planting trees growing sea grass and populating it with fish that only occasionally tried to poison him the lake of life actually has life in it if not the plants turn he's got a few months of server activity to make up for though so he spends the next episode catching up some of the stuff he's missed shopping at Sahara digging straight down and laughing at the shenanigans of the hermit Ville build-off finally someone who appreciates a dabbing penguin okay guys this is epic [Music] and there's even new stuff for him to try why just this week ZF has finished his duck minigame the bizarre parkour course that invites players to squish stretch and crawl for a series of obstacles yeah okay and is it gonna boost me yeah okay we did it fantastic of all the acrobatics you'll have to face on your way to out sprint the competition the two that stand out especially are a water level and a pig level I guess is that just really really wanted the hermit's to meet the one blocked all animals face-to-face okay I'm gonna have to put some furnaces or something just underneath this red block just so they can't go through you can fit oh no you can't fake it you're big enough the course will come in handy if drill-sergeant good times with sky of against some cadets to train for now he stuck shouting at planes and asphalt it is just your casual general scar here you know graduating everybody on their good flights but then when you put this on you are angry general scar those eyebrows I need those for my default skin though scar has his own minigames to torture subordinates with the drop game which now that I think about it really does look like parachute training just with more money involved it is fully playable and fully payable for the diamonds not going towards the players score will disappear into the underground minecart hoppers instead of deep spawning for a handful of diamonds you get two jumps and an unforgettable feeling of having to choose between your greed and death this week we even find out where that airplane comes from having expanded the area 77 hangars all the way through the mountain scar builds a runway for aviation to the best of his scaling ability needless to say it takes a whole lot of flattening out but not nearly as much as it will take if they really do plan on going underground with the future containment chambers so eventually we'll build like a really cool elevator that will take us you know hundreds and engines of blocks underground where the real secured objects are in that department TFC has a huge head start he's been digging his vault from day one and to see exactly how far that reach extends he gives an episode 100 tour of the facility everything from the surface entrance which he freely admits his ugly and he's owning it down to the storage system which provides its own slime there are some new additions to in the form of a medical station and some very glowy bio scanners just inside the front door all right thank you for the input it is always valued docum could use some more security measures at area 77 since it looks suspiciously like someone might have snuck in and smuggled out some aliens from his villager breeder but if anything he's giving people more ways to visit area 77 spending time on the piston bolt from hermit Ville which is admittedly hidden below his composter base but we all know about that at this point still the launch sequence for the piston vault is looking pretty spiffy of boom and one block pops out you know a bomb next beam comes through a next pot block pops up bubble boom and we do the full sequence until the final blast of power comes in and charges the whole thing up and then boom the middle block you know and then launch seek and launch activated so yeah that's what we want to achieve so we got another bit done here and yeah thank you and now we got to work on something else doc has to consider some of the more traditional forms of transport when the two hippie trucks parked themselves just outside of the boundary and in response he built a pickup truck with a radar dish presumably to broadcast that nothing weird is going on here but while doc shouts at them to get off his lawn it's fall symmetry who is getting a little too close for comfort constantly bordering on trespassing false starts with the second house in her town of scamming tourists out of their money mirroring somewhat the style of the forbidden hangar she builds the area seventy seven alien center which is not mine to you'd the geometrical center of a giant alien nor is it an embassy for visiting aliens what it is or promises to be is a Museum of sorts or an alien themed merchandise shop it's about time she renamed all the music discs she's been farming into x-files blu-rays with that done false opens the road to the place bridging the small lake was in the way before I've just been watching Joe Hill's latest episode and yeah he came across this and obviously had to fly and of course that's not our bridges work even if making this to Mum the town isn't really meant to be moans I'm not sure why the bridges but I guess we can always tweak it afterward the road falls put together last week was outsourced to zombie Cleo's she's the one more into pirates anyway but I did get a message from force and she asked me if I wouldn't mind if you feel like you want to not slime fresh you know bit like that if I would like to do small mass and work in this bad fire with the armorstand book in hand Cleo works her magic on the campsite my thrn line environmental storytelling out the wazoo blocks so these guys must have robbed someone recently this girl's new minigame is just as heavy on the special effects now he's put together a prize room with a piston door that both looks and sounds like it belongs in an arcade this is where players will redeem their loot box keys if they were lucky enough to earn any from the randomly triggered obstacle course this [Music] yes this is beautiful after ironing out the ice deal with rain and stress monster he takes the opportunity to snoop around a mumbos villager setup before returning to his own Island and making a few major additions continuing the rich Sahara tradition of making things slightly less convenient by storing them in warehouses a scale decides to stash all his librarians in a minecart or ecosystem and select them for trading using Elector naturally the building around them is very library themed and he'll have to make another 12 of these if he wants to cover all the professions but you have to give it points for being a streamlined experience now I can finally try this out so let's say that we want let's request route and yeah there is Ralph with glass protection for Emperor 5 almost as streamlined as Sahara now which he points out his only nicknamed quicksand even though that's a much better name but this literal offshoot of Sahara has a trick up its sleeve while the service is instantaneous you won't always know what you're getting the shelcha boxes in the system are manually stocked and while it's a good deal customers aren't guaranteed to receive the same goods every time so they'll have to keep coming back to Sahara just to check what the latest offers are so until we've seen old boxes the other boxes are simply chilling I think in this hopper underneath this redstone block we're still waiting for it to go full Amazon and start recommending items other people bought impulse sv has also seen a gap in the market after setting up a potions room based on a simple auto potion Brewer he designed while scoping out a jebin's brewing stand he realizes the potions there are all the basic ones with no enhanced or longer duration effects and the fire resistance potions are still in popular demand interesting okay well I think I'm gonna compete here even if his new venture turns out to be a commercial flop at least he has a shiny new auto brewing facility of his own when the droppers behave themselves and a surprising no.1 he decorates it with quartz and finally there's mumbo who's decided to ditch a scout solution for villages on the vacation and look further afield settling on a trading Hall designed by logical geek boy his new setup drops villages into place first and zombified them after thanks to a wandering undead boy menacing the villagers from behind their boots the village of retrieval mechanism still needs a bit of work travelling along and shoots he has gone through ok he's died not a good start but luckily there's one type of death you can bring villagers back from and pretty soon the villagers are bribing him not to turn them into zombies again and that's just about it for this week's recap our writer is Lou XP and my name is picks Oryx I recently hit
