hi welcome to Prime recap when a super villain begins to travel between universes Miles Morales must team up with a squad of spiders to fight the enemy and stop the Multiverse from being destroyed today we will recap the story of the 2023 movie Spider-man across the spider-verse after helping miles destroy the collider Gwen returns to earth 65 and tries to live her life normally but she can't control her homesickness in to make matters worse she is reminded of her best friend Peter Parker who was overcome by a desire for Revenge forcing Gwen to fight him at the school dance during the battle Peter ended up losing his life and Gwen's father saw everything making him believe that the Spider Woman is nothing but a criminal because of this the girl has never felt comfortable telling her own father the truth and feels alone further increasing her sadness at being away from miles after much thought Gwen comes home and George tells her that they have made a breakthrough in the investigation into the Spider-Woman which turns into an argument that only ends when the commander warns of a vulture attack and summons all police officers downtown in a hurry George runs to the car and Gwen follows him in her spider girl outfit even though her own father is hunting her in the center vulture causes a big explosion and everyone takes cover behind the vehicles giving Gwen the Gap to trap them with her webs with one less thing to worry about the girl runs to the wreckage and is surprised by the vulture that hits her back rolling her into a wall Furious the villain accuses Gwen of having brought him to a cursed world and suddenly the creature suffers from various glitches which makes the girl realize that he is not from that Universe curious she asks what Earth the villain came from and he refuses to answer but because of his appearance in Italian accent it doesn't take long for her to realize that this vulture came from the Renaissance and that he is using one of Da Vinci's own inventions to fly mounted on the enemy Gwen tries to make him crash into the wall and ends up being knocked down by the villain who tries to strike her a supreme blow but even though she manages to dodge it the superheroine is hit by the vultures Harpoon and is trapped against the wall taking advantage that she cannot move the creature puts its claws out and prepares to strike the final blow but is stopped by Miguel a Spider-Man From Another Dimension who leads the spider Society an elite Troop that tries to ensure the safety of the Multiverse at this point vulture stands up behind him and Strikes Back carrying them both on his wings as they discuss the incident with the Kingpin collider which Miguel says has opened a wormhole between Dimensions making it possible for characters to change universes trying to eliminate them vulture throws several grenades at the two and Spider-Man 2099 jumps towards the explosives destroying them in mid-air and tearing off the villain's Wings which rebuild themselves almost immediately realizing that it won't be that easy Miguel calls for reinforcements in another spider woman named Jessica Drew appears riding a motorcycle hitting the enemy's front wheel and speeding into his chest working as a team they managed to do a lot of damage to the vulture who fights back by blowing the roof off the place causing the debris to fall on the civilians while the women are rescuing people Miguel jumps on the back of the villain who shoots at the police helicopter causing the vehicle to crash into George and forcing Gwen to set up a large web of containment to save him with this they managed to stop the helicopter from falling in the Spider Woman of this universe Falls already totally exhausted but is soon surprised by George who tries to arrest her with no more webs in her launcher Gwen tries to convince her father to Let Her Go however when he fires a warning shot she sees no choice but to take off her mask leaving George totally in shock still the man decides to fulfill his role as police captain and begins to read her her rights but the other spiders show up and manage to disarm the policeman before he can handcuff her leaving George trapped in a force field while they return to spider Society before leaving Miguel sees that Gwen has no one to stay with on this Earth and invites her to join the hero's Army giving her a watch that allows her to stay outside of her Universe without causing any glitches on Earth 1610 a villain known as spot breaks into a convenience store and uses his power to create portals to get the money from an ATM but he can't do it right and and creates a passage to try to get the terminal to his Hideout noticing the movement the store owner picks up his baseball bat and moves towards the thief who teleports from one side to the other without any control watching everything miles realizes that the villain doesn't offer much risk and begins to face him without much concern stopping in the middle of the battle to answer his father who is at school talking to the guidance counselor while the man and his wife tried to get the young man a place at a good University miles manages to use the villain's portals to his advantage and weaves a web with every part of spot's body pinning him to some buildings in a hurry miles leaves the villain behind and runs to the guidance counselor's office who starts to check his grades realizing that even though he is irresponsible the young man is a genius and God is in everything seeing his potential the woman tells him that he will have a bright future if he puts his mind to it and says that he can get a place in the physics program at Princeton University but Mr and Mrs Morales refuse claiming that they don't want their son to go that far away knowing that this University is studying machines capable of traveling between Dimensions miles wants to help in the research and finally be able to visit Gwen's universe but his parents keep insisting that it is too far away and that they should choose something in Brooklyn during the discussion the spider sense warns miles that something is wrong and he realizes that spot has gotten loose forcing him to leave the meeting to change clothes and go after the villain even after working as a hero for so long miles is very careless and underestimate spot calling him the villain of the week while being shuttled around town because of this inattention they end up on top of the collider and spot teleport Smiles close to the machine causing them both to fall into the wreckage of the device created by the Kingpin not understanding why the villain's fixation on this place the young man continues fighting normally and buries the enemy under the rubble while immobilized spot tells him that he worked at alcamax and that he was the one who built the collider that brought the radioactive spider from Earth 42 but that during the experiments the arachnid managed to escape and bit miles granting him the Spider-Man powers continuing the story spot reveals that he was in the lab at the time the young man destroyed the collider and ended up being hit by radiation gaining his powers but losing everything else from his job to his own face thinking that the teenager is to blame for everything the villain rushes toward him and unwittingly opens a portal that causes him to kick himself causing him to fall headlong and disappear into another dimensional hole suddenly spot finds himself in a room full of portals and decides to stick his head through some of them ending up in several different dimensions and even getting to talk to Mrs Chen the owner of Venom's friendly convenience store after traveling through the universes spot falls back into the collider and the Spider-Man from one of the dimensions he passed through notices and anomaly and reports it to Miguel putting the entire spiderverse on alert without any idea what is going on Miles goes to the confectioners and buys a cake for his father's party who will be promoted to Captain next week wrapped up as usual the young man encounters several villains while carrying the cake home causing the food to get all twisted up and he misses his father's speech Furious his parents ask him what is going on and why he is so distant but even though he wants to miles does not have the courage to tell them that he is Spider-Man for fear of being rejected this leads to a big argument between them and Mr Morales grounded his son for two months ordering him to go to his room frustrated miles lies down on his bed to relax and doesn't notice when a portal opens above him only realizing what is happening when Gwen appears at his side happy to see her friend again the girl hugs him and invites him for a walk making him disobey his parents and go out to explore the city as they swing through New York Gwen talks about Miguel and his spider society as well as telling him that all the dimensions have been messed up since they destroyed the collider in the middle of the tour Gwen sees spot entering an apartment and uses the watch to release a kind of spider spy to keep an eye on the villain letting the device monitor him while she continues talking to miles after venting about the difficulties of being a hero the two go to the party on the Terrace and the young man's parents interrupt them wanting to meet Gwen but the average atmosphere gets awkward and she decides to leave leaving Rio and her son alone to talk even without knowing what miles is going through the woman tries to be as understanding as possible and allows her son to leave even though he is grounded asking him to take care of Gwen and buy her a regular cake when he returns unaware that she is being followed the girl goes to the clock spider and realizes that spot's apartment is completely destroyed and goes there to investigate right behind her miles watches as she scans the scene and runs a hologram that shows everything that has happened discovering that spot has built a device with enough energy to take him to a universe where the collider is still intact with the device finished the villain began his plan and threw himself into the dark matter of the micro collider going to another dimension and destroying the apartment in the process upon seeing what has happened Gwen becomes quite concerned and wonders what to do when she receives a call from Jess who begins to argue that she has gone to visit miles leaving the villain free to build the micro collider after the scolding Jess tracks spot down and realizes that he is traveling with between Dimensions where the alcamax company exists taking advantage of the colliders to energize himself and grow stronger knowing that Miguel will kick her out if he finds out Gwen asks Jess not to say anything and says that she will personally go after the villain who at this point is in Earth 50101 to fix everything she opens a portal to another dimension and says goodbye to Miles without knowing that he is invisibly watching but the young man refuses to let her go alone and enters the portal right after her ending up in the middle of India where spot is tormenting the citizens in search of the alcamax building after some time searching miles finally finds Gwen who is distracted by his presence and ends up getting kicked in the face to prevent her from getting hurt the young man catches her with his web and begins to chase the villain but his body begins to feel the effects of being outside his Dimension and Gwen is forced to rescue him a little further on pav the Spider-Man from Earth 50101 joins the fight and the three of them Advance towards spot who is now much stronger and can control his powers better opening holes that allow him to go anywhere and surprise the Webheads while fighting the villain finds alcamax and breaks into the control room initiating the collider sequence and creating a force field that prevents anyone from entering at this moment a punk version of Spider-Man named Hobie appears and uses his guitar to break through the barrier clearing the way for the other three to catch up with the villain still spot is now much stronger and can handle all four at the same time causing one to knock out the other with his portals even though he is more powerful the villain is still not satisfied and activates the collider which begins to suck him in exploding as soon as he enters the reactor in the middle of the radiation miles connects with spot and sees his father being eliminated in several different realities which leaves him completely frightened when he realizes that the young man has seen everything the villain says that this is the future and that he will leave him with nothing just as he did to him at that moment a portal forms in the middle of the alchemax building which begins to collapse forcing Gwen and Hobie to try to slow the object down while the other two rescue the civilians but the object is too heavy in their web breaks leaving the building in free fall with no other options the four go to the bridge to save as many people as possible when Gwen receives a warning that a canonical event is about to happen at this moment Pav's father-in-law sees a child alone in the middle of the impact area and runs to rescue her which activates mild Spider Sense desperate Gwen tries to stop the young man from jumping and says he can't do that but the young man pays no attention and jumps towards the two saving the man and the child from being crushed by the rubble thinking it's over they celebrate when suddenly that Universe starts to collapse in countless versions of Spider-Man show up to isolate the area saying they need to contain the quantum Rift before it's too late while the others deal with this Jess warns that Miguel wants the four of them to come to HQ and miles is Happy thinking that he will be recruited at the spider Society headquarters Jess realizes that miles is suffering from glitches and hands over one of the watches making his body immune to dimensional glitches with that done they go through the lobby full of different versions of the web head and some villains who have transformed into dimensional anomalies plus the PS4 Spider-Man himself after a long walk they finally reach Miguel who starts fighting about them having opened a hole in the Multiverse since miles doesn't know what he is talking about Gwen tries to defend him and Peter Parker from Earth's 616b shows up with his daughter little Mayday after being interrupted Miguel goes on to explain that the Multiverse is connected by Fabrics that look like spider webs and that when they open a rift as they did on Earth 50101 they risk destroying the spider-verse and consequently ending all reality Miguel then explains that all spider men go through canonical events that are part of each spider's history shaping his personality and trajectory but that unintentionally miles interrupted one of these events on earth 50101 when he saved Pav's father-in-law according to Miguel a police captain near the spider always perished saving a child during battle and unknowingly Miles prevented this from happening on the bridge by opening a Quantum riff that is slowly destroying the 50 101 Universe this is why Gwen tried to stop him from saving the two on the bridge because she knew the consequences of interrupting the canonical event at this point Miguel explains that it is extremely dangerous to destroy Canon and decides to tell about how he himself did this once traveling in the Multiverse Miguel found a version of himself that had a family but during a robbery the original Spider was eliminated and he decided to replace him taking over his family and activities as Spider-Man but this was a big mistake as it affected the entire universe which was disintegrated over time deleting everyone who lived in it including Miguel's family just as he finishes telling the story miles realizes that his father is about to be promoted to Captain and also remembers the vision he had when the collider exploded making him realize that spot will eliminate Mr Morales dissatisfied miles asks when this will happen and Miguel reveals that it will be in two days when he takes the oath and is promoted obviously the young man refuses to allow this to happen and begs to be taken and back home but Miguel refuses and says that they must wait disgusted miles remembers that Gwen's father is also a captain and asks her if she will wait for him to perish which leaves the girl quite shaken Miguel then tries to argue that even though it is a difficult decision they must choose between saving a loved one or saving the entire Multiverse but miles is not mature enough to understand and Rebels at everyone including Gwen realizing what he wants to do Miguel traps him with a force field and forbids him to leave the building but the young man refuses to wait for his father's elimination and manages to break through the barrier by absorbing electricity after Breaking Free he starts to run while Miguel asks the entire spider verse to stop what they are doing and run after Spider-Man after a few seconds of confusion everyone realizes that he is talking about miles and starts chasing him including a spider cat and a T-Rex wearing the webhead's uniform with the entire spider Society behind him miles does his best to dodge the attacks but soon he is cornered and decides to jump out of the building attach his web to the flying cars while Miguel and the others pursue him during the Escape Peter realizes that what they are doing is wrong and gives up the chase but Gwen can't do the same and attaches her web to Miles making him feel even more betrayed in the underground part of the city Gwen uses her webs to hurl Jess at her friend but miles manages to dodge and trap the Spider Woman in the windshield of a bus still Miguel continues after miles and manages to rip the watch off his wrist making him feel the effects of dimensional travel still miles does not give up the fight and leaps toward his opponent hitting him in the face with a kick and trapping him in the subway with the web as they fight Miguel says that his duty is to deal with the anomalies and says that miles is one of them because the spider that bit him wasn't even from his universe as such he should never have gotten his powers Miguel goes on to say that because of him the people of Earth 42 have no Spider-Man to protect them and blames him for the elimination of Peter of Earth 1610 as well as saying that he is responsible for spot's existence and consequently the eliminate nation of his own father tired of listening to him the young man says it's time to go home and releases a massive electrical discharge that sends Miguel flying with the whole spider-verse in the subway miles says goodbye to Gwen and jumps back into the spider Society building taking advantage of his invisibility to go to the dimensional room there the machine scans his DNA and programs a trip back to Earth 1610 starting to build a portal that will take him home but before the robot finishes the teleport Miguel arrives at the place and does everything to stop him still the leader of the spiders is unable to stop the process in Miles leaves making all of Miguel's anger turn to Gwen whom he sees is to blame for everything without patience he decides to expel her from the society and sends her back home where she ends up being surprised by her father who asks her to talk after hearing all of his daughters venting about the way to being a superhero George reveals that he has resigned and that he is no longer a police officer so he is not the captain who will perish in the canonical event at this moment George says that some someone has left a package for his daughter and she realizes that the spider Punk has come all this way to deliver a watch allowing her to travel to earth 1610 to help her friend in his Universe miles runs back home while Miguel and some other spiders start looking for him but since they can't find any sign of him they start following Mr Morales at the same time miles finally arrives home to find his mother trying to ask him about his hair but he takes no notice and begins to apologize for everything finally revealing that he is Spider-Man for some reason Ryo seems to have never heard of Spider-Man and starts making jokes about his son cosplaying for Comics which leaves him quite confused miles then says that he wishes his father was there for them to talk to and Rio doesn't seem to like what he says which once again leaves him not understanding anything at this point miles tries to run after his mother and ends up suffering a glitch making him finally realize that he is not in his Universe he then remembers that the spider that stung him was from Universe 42 and immediately assumes that the robot realized this in its DNA creating a portal to the radioactive spider's dimension of origin at this moment uncle Aaron enters the apartment and Miles hugs him talking about how much he missed him but the man acts cold and starts to take him to the Terrace saying that there is something they need to do even without knowing what it is about the young man follows his uncle to the roof where he sees a painting in honor of his father who in this universe is no longer alive but while miles is digesting the information someone appears from behind and knocks him out with one punch on Earth 1610 Gwen realizes that her friend is in the wrong universe and decides to go to Earth 616b to recruit Peter forming a team of spiders to rescue miles on Earth 42 the young man finally wakes up and tells his uncle that he is not from this universe and begs him to give up being the prowler and let him go but Aaron punches him above the head and replies that someone else is the super villain at that moment Prowler from Earth 42 appears and approaches the young man asking if his father is still alive miles then confirms and asks who he is causing the villain to take off his mask and reveal that he is Miles Morales from Earth 42 desperate the young man asks to be released and tells them that their father will be eliminated if he doesn't return home in time but his evil version refuses leaving
