Hay Equipment tour | And a little of everything

all right folks how's it going huh I kind of screwed up with today's video it's actually about 6:30 at night here I know Wednesday September 4th we actually thought we were gonna be able to chop today we ended up cutting hay yesterday and we had some more equipment to get ready to go this morning and I didn't figure on chop until about 1 o'clock this afternoon we had a couple of Tedder's that I wanted to get going I wanted to get them out and about here about 10 o'clock this morning and just we're ready to pull off the door with them it started raining so we had to kind of circle the wagons and retool a few things keep everybody busy and because chopping hay got kind of taken off the table I didn't grab the camera at all I had enough going on this morning that I didn't film anything but we ended up working on chisel plows and then we pulled we had a broken spring on a disc that we pulled it so the guys kept busy at that but we've got all the equipment's ready to go Jared and Ben they ended up Ted and today the mowers have been cutting for the better part of the afternoon here now and everything is ready to go so we're just got to kind of roll through kind of a little bit of a different approach to a video here just some short little clips and we'll have a little bit of mowing of hay in the video here and and I'm just all over the places I didn't grab the camera until later on now I'm standing down in the new bunk now and they were actually going to pour this pad in here today and they didn't get to it they kind of thought it was going to be and here too and they didn't wanna get all set up and end up having this concrete pad in here get all wet and whatever so this is all took grade here they've got a power street and I don't know when they actually plan on pouring this now if they're gonna get to it in the morning or not but we'll be sure to film some of that so so the rest of the video here is just going to be just random clips and whatnot and I want to thank something together here quick and we'll get her out so thanks for watching okay we got everything ready to go here choppers ready all the hay equipments ready we got a little bit of a rain shower so we're working on tillage equipment keep everybody busy this is the second chisel claw here that they worked on for today and they're redoing the walking beam bushings or bearings rather we replaced one in the field last week on the other chisel plow they redid other side and here a little while ago now they're working on the second chisel plow and they're replacing the bearings inside the walking beam Kurt had to weld on to the races to get them all back out of the Bemis so the bearings shot were they're just real sloppy right there and it's a little sloppy up is all but that had a little bit of play in it the other one that was that was bad last week that was wicked so ah we got a starter going in a three teach gets to our hair Shan Shan 1.0 heat he showed up here today he's supervising yeah he's supervising but uh I guess the three eight te Kevin's put on putting a starter in it so making sure Joe keeps all his fingers today alright the boys ended up putting both silage blades on yesterday this is the 9320 this was on the manure tanker the boys washed it up yesterday they put the blade on last night went through the blade completely grease to hit this is kind of our spare potion tractor it's all ready to go and we're going to walk around the tractor quick here and then we'll run around a 9410 will kind of keep things moving along here and then of course we've got the 9410 ready to go this seems to be the weapon of choice Jason does all the bunk packing and whatnot like that he prefers to use the 9410 what this has is a it's what degelman calls their piledriver blade I don't believe they make it anymore the wings kind of fold in and what's nice about that is once you've pushed up you can back away and articulator is a little goofy you can get into some pickles with it so this style blade works pretty good because you can fold the wings in and it kind of gets you out away from the wall so it kind of works good for that but we have had some problems here where we've popped these welds on these hinge pins here and then they actually a fish plated it and they had to fix it twice I'm not even sure if they make this blade anymore the 9320 s got a straight blade on it it does tip either way and then of course it angles one way and the other this plate here does not angle all this blade does is it'll oscillate up and down on either side but it does not angle from one side to the other all you can do is close a wing in open it up or or whatnot like that so I don't know if I'd buy one of these again even if they made them but Jason likes that so he does the he does the pack and so we're going to get on with the rest of yeah the tatters are ready mergers are both ready to go Eric Savin okay nine 10:11 well 18900 is ready you and then you got this guy Vanda running the skid-steer here picks it up the driveways where we've gotten a lot of rain this summer it's kind of then throughout the driveway here we got one a water pathway right here and it gets kind of rough to run it and we got another one down and through there that he already fixed that one off potholes around the other side of the hay barn there so he just gotta dump some stone in these spots here he'll get it all leveled off he's worked out in front of shop there a little bit he's just got a feather this in here and smoother getting on and off the scale and whatnot so hey thanks ace out now what do you think there Junior how'd they do on the service job on this today get her all going good for ya Andrew got done running the skid-steer last night he saying that the skid-steer needs a service I said get doing it now the guys ended up service on it today I hadn't been around the farm about a month so it was about time we do it okay that's gonna do it for this video folks I want to thank you for watching and we'll catch it to next one hopefully we can get chopping tomorrow but we got to get some frickin Sun here so yeah breeze is blowing a little bit right now and that should allow us to get out there and get going tomorrow
