call Minecraft what you want but its reputation is undeniably phenomenal especially in regards to its impact on not only gaming as a whole but with its groundbreaking remedy and bringing people closer together its music its freedom and World building and its Community have become Staples in the gaming world its success is one that other companies can only wish to strive for but funnily enough it was created by just a small handful of people mercus person or not the creative genius who decided to make this game although Minecraft in its Inception stages was no more than a few blocks to build and destroy with Marcus knew that he had found something big something that he could fill with all of his Blood Sweat and passion but now for the moment that you have all been waiting [Music] for Minecraft is not just any ordinary game it's a universe capable of robbing you of hundreds of hours at a time this is partially due to the game's astounding sound design the feeling I get when I load into a new world and here any one of the dozens of Minecraft tracks is euphoric to say the least I could have gone through the most heart drenching [ __ ] but the second the soundtrack kicks in I always remember why I started not because I like the grind but because the only way to lose Minecraft is by giving up on your world that's something I believe the soundtrack is more than capable of reminding us not to mention the sound design Beyond just the base score to the game what other game can you think of that produces sounds like these that feel so unworldly and Abstract yet so utterly [Music] fitting [Music] but regardless of the Beautiful music composed by C418 and Lana rain Notch was dead set on creating a game that allowed players absolute freedom to express themselves I kind of always knew that I wanted to make games and I said so in school to my like career counselor thing and she said uh well that's probably not going to happen yeah while an amazing game like tears of the Kingdom may have lots of opportunities to explore and create at the end of the day you're still following the story of Link while in Minecraft you are able to form your own story with your own beginning middle it was a misinput Mis input calm down and end the somehow simple complexity of Minecraft's Ingenuity allows players to be anything from a Scandinavian Viking to a brilliant computer scientist and it's one of the reasons I believe that Minecraft is hard to replace for furthermore it slow migration into the world of VR means that it's a game that even my grandkids will be able to enjoy one day the accessibility Minecraft offers lets people of all ages or even species connect through its endless depths full of creativity and exploration its public servers have also set a standard in the world of gaming by creating things like survival games which set a foot the creation of games like pubg and even fortnite Minecraft has always held a special place in my heart I've been playing it for over 10 years now which is kind of of scary to think about but one thing I know for sure is that I wouldn't trade any single one of the countless hours I've spent on this [Music] game
