so there's three keys to any negotiation number one don't be emotional it's just a piece of merchandise number two know your walkaway price and three be able to walk away and when you're selling an item bring out that emotion in the customer and when you're buying an item have no emotion emptied hours when you're negotiating for a deal the seller needs to throw out the first price as a buyer you might overshoot you might pay a little too much so you know what have the seller always star so how much you want for this thing don't want your prize don't know what you really think there is never a bad time to negotiate I don't care if you go into a department store I don't care if you go into a car dealership I don't care if you go into a clothing store there's always room for negotiation if you go to a retail store you can always ask for a discount and guess what you might be pleasantly surprised they'll actually give you 190 grand ninety five will do it myself the only time I know when a deal is dead is either when I walk away or the customer walks away a deal is never dead until the customer leaves the parking lot so oftentimes you might not think you'll be able to reach a deal inside the store but when they drive out I'll still chase after them if I think that I missed out on opportunity you
