well you start I actually for the first time I got proper gear let me do a match instead of digging through my bag of hundred-year-old with your stuff you weren't out there with the bag of moldy old French something they got sent from somewhere that you found in some box no we does a little sad ha ha ha as it turns out modern kid works pretty well is that the daughter shading or possibly a campus picture ok so what I had here it was the babble belt contest according to that kind of sounds now I kind of encouraged you down this path right yes you can absolutely do it and this is a kind of standardized thing that we've seen a lot of the three dumb guys have a similar thing sim with a Velcro though looking good the idea here is we have a really wide waist belt sash sort of thing and threaded through it is like a Rigger's belt that actually holds it onto your person and back of this whole deal is set up with Molly pouches or Molly wedding so you can hang whatever you need on which in my face is thistle dump pouch this is like of all this stuff this is one of the single most useful this dumb pouches are very valuable yep and then I went with two of these guys double taco magazine pouches where I've got a rifle mag on the inside and a pistol mag on the outside this one's only half fold moment but two rifle mags two pistol mags was generally enough to get through into stage if it certainly would be a girl yes it pretty much was here I occasionally had to contact I have brought one extra pistol mag pouch that I threw on air for one of the stages and then I also have this little guy which is this is this is my nod to musty old camo service is that something on there this is actually the carry pouch for my Stepney health lifeline okay and you use that scary or by moderate it's part new bulbs part managua yeah so I did the same thing well to be honest I encourage you to use various of that although this is a copy of that very similar so the battle belt is my contactable of the cost of bronchoscope there are other valid also in the market I am a huge fan of a lot of what Viking tactical puts out because it's well thought out here and his growth was both involve out of here 511 is producing in for biking back full we will have the same valuable as a cobra belt ended up locking on my person and same thing taco pockets our pouches and the reason these stalkers are going to want they really do a good job of retaining the magazine this stuff is held in the global bungee cord and even with dynamic movement these are not coming out now however they look really good people that work because of those elastic you can actually pull them out quite easily so it's an interesting system of retention but you don't I have never seen a magazine fall out of this one I didn't want to but at the same time they're easy to get in and out and they're they're multi-purpose you can basically stop any double stack pistol mag knows that you dip and you know I haven't earned it but I wonder if you could stuff they came at I think you could put a single fact mannequin that this as well and yes I can put it in bags in here certainly five four five you can definitely index and so they are very flexible and that they can contain all sorts of different types of magazines they're very good at retention and when you use a double stack taco with your stay right here where I have a rifle mag and a pistol mag stacked on top of each other when you're using something as simple as a battle belt it retains a lot of allows you to have a lot of real estate yep and so with three taco pouches which do I had I won three I had three pistol mags and three rifle max on assemble well that's a big deal yeah that's a lot of space and a lot of ammunition easily carry the dome house is extremely important um as you said there were stages in which the magazines had to start off by if you could run up and grab them and just throw me your dumb house or retaining stuff when you're in the middle of nowheres Ville so you don't lose your gear yep that's enough to be understated I did have a mint it online because I believe in them and even outside of the actual shooting this thing is really handy Nick you're loading mags between shooting pea shooters and you know there's a stage creaking my hands are full of ammo on a Mac it was in the dump pouch and then you can come back to it later I think it was a little table held on your belt or stuff you just need to hold on to it a given moment yeah I had a med kit because they believe in myths they're important that's a whole other topic I have my um 84 holster no you did you have it more specific holster because you're using your arm are enable cloth yes I have a fancy retention holster from Safariland specifically because we like the one pistol I own it won't fit you how you and maybe for you look at that read our that thing yep will not fit any meaning for the um 84 is a underappreciated holster this is one of the things that we got right for sure yeah this thing will hold almost any service pistol this retention flask does a phenomenal job of retaining any kind of pistol and the reality is it's really it's still relatively easy to quick-draw because I put this little dual on here that is up to me do that that's just some paracord but that holster does a good job of making sure everybody for your pistol never falls out will retain any pistol obviously it's meant for beretta so that was a big flop and there was I think two situations in which I had to speed3 holster speed three holster and at something as hard as hell about the stages or as long as they are your speed we holster is not a big deal what you're putting it back in your utility for just merely closing it so this was excellent and it does a great job of protecting the game you're crawling through dirt and filth yeah it really does and then one more taco holster which was gives me the three that I was talking about so this battle belt is a wonderful way to do things and you can just pop it on and the other really nice thing about it this is great for not just hard to tell or anything like that but we always you can just take the top back clip on your Cobra belt put it down for a few minutes put it back on we had just up get on and off if you're going for assault or a match or a stage put your belt on do your thing you can take your belt off if you have this pouch that other thing in it like to prepare cater tools take the belt off get to it it's a fantastic set up yeah so I really believe in this battle both concepts and it was comfortable to wear all day yes it really was and we did not have we did did not even need to have suspenders that braces so it's just around your waist did a fine job and I think a lot of its because it distributes so much of the weight so broadly across your body and this really isn't that different from well last 75 years of life your technology you would ask for examples the u.s. cartridge well we've got ammo pockets and then it's got little rivet holes and you hang your extra stop yes the belt this happens to be Molly this isn't set up to go with a backpack system that's I think one of the design major design differences between yet and older military gear that and I would say the width of the belt is up and this is for added oh yeah it's been improved here but fundamentally it you have you have if you're wearing pants elves we've got that and then you've also got your gear belt over the top yes and when you're done using issues pop it off dump it and one of the really neat things about the Viking tactics design is you can loop the belt in and out of the male sections so you can expose a part of the belt like right here the belts actually expose I skip to this model spot and therefore the belt exposed and if I want to use the belt for something that's only felt malleable not a moly thing like the neck down pouches I just expose the bill then I run it back under then I have Molly again and then it comes outside yeah so it's really very flexible in terms of how you configure it I did that both for the dump pouch and for that so on that note I would say we're both on the same page two thumbs up for the 5-11 Viking tactical protocol 12 and just the concept engine concept in general although the product we use work great so there are knockoffs on the market I don't know about the Condor and all that this is an instance in which I would say not they're not that expensive that's probably worth buying this it's a legitimate dear so and you know what if I can't act expects good stuff so two thumbs up for both of us for that piece of kit yeah so let's move on to our pistols you use you're talking about yeah so I had a Glock 19 with ass wireless slide and a critic on our mark gun work fine you had some ammo related problems I was shooting 115 grain to lemma which is actually acknowledged the shittiest nine-millimeter you can buy this side of to a nine-millimeter seems to be particularly probably yes it is steel case graphite Burton stuff and as the mash progressed I started having more and more magazine failures which I attribute to recombination of that ammo has more friction when it's stacked up than brass case and moon dust out there there was a lot of the wing was pretty heavy all the way through the mash it was very dry location we had a lot of very fine sand that was blowing all over the place and I'm sure I haven't done it yet because Oh liners but yeah now I'm sure it's all the way up inside those magazine bodies it is and as I had more and more of it mags started to stop feeding halted so first happened to me with a the two things where it really had an impact where my 31 round or 33 round extended mag worked great at first and then started to show failures and my knock off natural that failed for the first time I pulled out there just what we don't know if it's because of the steel cased ammunition or mathematics or glossed estate I don't think they generally think that just seeing how much of a difference there was and how quickly that failed versus legit Glock mags yeah I have two of those metal ones and two pair not which is interesting because magical negative rifles are phenomenal yes but we'll get it to that I also for the second time I had an issue with the red dot we've been warned about cruge economy the best solution for this sort of pistol application of course the RMR was not designed for pistol slides and was designed to go on a rifle pistol slide slamming that thing back and forth every time you fire and there was one point I'm going to remember which stage it was now sometimes on the second day where I brought the gun up and had no dahhh and so I fired then the doc came back which has happened to me once before the first time I fixed it by kind of bending the very kind of battery contact down but can't take the battery out of that without dismounting the whole site yep so thus losing their yeah so I haven't I haven't done anything to fix it again it went the rest of the match without any problems but I don't know that I wanted I may look into alternatives for this I did not want to jinx on not having that I didn't I didn't I did not want to jinx you on that but I mean this is I think this is a very modern forward-thinking concept and once it comes in the red dot on the pistol should not supplant or completely remove the iron sights and I still have relevance and however that runs out allows you to do things you cancel with this iron sights and it just makes shooting easier when I'm out there on minute four of a five-minute stage and I'm tired and wobbly and breathing hard not having to deal with sight alignment just put the dot on the target that's kind of like with the rifle yeah funny and so I don't know why people are finding this to be contentious they should not be however they insist or recommendations we gonna tutor anyone in Jesus I told them you were bringing your RMR well he goes those will never finish the match because they fail every time so you've never seen the finish is being through the net and so I want to tell that to you for the math but then there we are on day two and you're like my arm are slippery and I'm like he said that was going to happen and a bunch of those guys believed in the concept they don't want to give up on that so they move to Delta points will Delta point for those pieces those things to do much better okay so the RMR is may be usable although a questionable reliability in this configuration on a right ball as far as I know there can test it disconnected so I'm not saying this is not no-go but he said that it happened to you that's making me think the RMR may not be the best or so on that note we talked about your block you probably need to start thinking about Delta points yes perhaps I just went with my beretta 92 a 1 with now that being said I have done a G model conversion on this when I first started using the grid I shot a brown bar on a Beretta the matches to done a while back quite a while ago now and I absolutely love it it shot so well for me but I was like why have I been under estimating and not trying to use a Beretta before this and I immediately when I'm looking to get one I got an A one unit which isn't that different from standard FS and started shooting it and immediately started having problems with the safety will point out people have asked and will ask why don't you have any threes and there to call the answer is because you wanted one now and they had that and the steps standard that is the answer and so but I needed a third of having the safety problem that is sometimes accounted for and now it may be this training issue can be I have to tell you I'm not a fan of slide mounted controls but I like the pistol so much and how well it shoots for me that I was going to tolerate slides my take control until the slide rounded control caused me to enact engage the safety when I didn't want to in numerous occasion when I want to shoot want to bring it up in the gun didn't fire so immediately when okay that is a real problem at least for me it might be a training issue I don't care it's um the time to train around it without a lot of wiring mounted controls anyway and I bought a mod G conversion kit which turns it into strictly a new talker lot of safety and this is empty so as a result when the handlers talk wishing that even if accidentally doing that all it does is D talk the hammer and the gun will still butter unlike the safety model where the safety done are even slightly down and it just looks dead trigger which is a bigger problem that's dead because mrs. spring would have never accidentally engaged at all a I've got this thing zero and my gosh this thing shoots like a house on fire I shot this gun great yeah I had zero concerns about being able to hit anything with this gun even if the extended range as hard as out yes and I am the only thing I would say about this is i did not have any happy 6 I was running the standard foldable 17 round mag 17 row mag on the beretta are not 17 automatics there's 16 round bags they are 17 round mags if the slides October you cannot see that or maybe you can I can't if the Madiga over the 17 it just does not see and so I downloaded the 16 which means I had 16 on that what was funny is when we got there and stock to st. George for the mask a nervous a closer look at that the same design a couple of them in particular oh man listening at weight far out I belong in round count for way why even have enough Meg for to get me pretty much to max yes so you bring like three if you bought two extra for any mags for this I had 5 on my person and we got to think George boy boy it sure would be nice to have extra stick and so because the match didn't start for the afternoon and we spend the morning going to a couple of gunshots and lo and behold in the miscellaneous magazine bin I found a couple turtle K aftermarket 30 around Beretta mags and in your but you were like oh everyone I went now and then it's just a little too shitty this well not just that this is where years of MAGIX predictive change nothing before big match yes nothing and I'm like that's a change I'm changing nothing I will follow my discipline I know I should not change anything I will not change anything so I did not and the truth is while I have quite an examinee I never have custom X in fact I think I ever won categories so it really wasn't the concerted seemed like it was but part of the reason it wasn't a concern of symbol was because and I'm not really well I'm not bragging I shoot this going really well and accuracy was there and so I had enough no matter what I neutralized so many targets with one shot that it surprised me I'm like I guess I'm not running it available but I do not quite understand and I admit that I was part of this camp why is going to wonder appreciate I think a lot of servicemen I have the same problem I have with the AR they go into the service their issue or training with a Beretta that has been one of the white truck and b2 ships and has been in the service for 25 years and it is no longer available good pistol and they're also not using this team on opener which is I say I will make a significant improvement than GM all emergencies being this being a say she is not no good no good but a 92 in proper configuration with the G model that is in good shape this thing shoots crazy well yeah and it was reliable even in the moondust I never had any issues but beretta supposedly is challenging with Munda and problems and dirt getting into this locking system and his dirty of that area was I never had a problem and I do think that um 84 holster does a good job of see from the top away from the gun yep so ah another two big thumbs up for this the Beretta 92 we won was fantastic you're doing a great job being a co-host yes very good she's really enjoying so we've gone through the Bissell um something we shared because we just want to buy pillow them as we wanted to get first person video and we do really do like the hardware cells that hard targeted conventions hard sell hard headed veterans ballistic on this we did a video on them it's a great element at a great price in fact it's a ballistic helmet get the price of the home level so if you need a ballistic element they're still good to go that said we didn't want to wear a ballistic helmet where we were not expecting ballistic threats for two days so we do have an ops or this is a legit ops for bomb helmet it's really a piece of plastic with some bumpers in here and some good reading and some love well I would say the hell it was actually very comfortable yeah it fit nice and tight didn't get in the way you need to use the straps no and in fact I left the one strap because it's set out to hook on the left side which is fine for you is already for me that potentially interfere with cheek bone hmm and it looks really when you have a beard and put that thing on and I just really did good you know these your holes in the helmet just looks badass and when I put it on as a bookstore it's like you can't not wear this thing and not look stupid in it but it's a good piece of equipment you can tighten back the rear you don't even need to strap a busy stretch feeling good and when you want to well you didn't really disappear it didn't really go along and part of the reason you can just use the tensioner in the rear is because it's so lightweight it's not a lot of mass moving around on your head yeah the other thing is we had one of the other shooters was going through the trenches and you told us that he hit one of the board's running through the trenches and nearly knocked himself out and I will see but I actually did hit my head on a few things in the match with the ball helmet and while this was not going to be durable a cigarette there's something we said about this tab up on top yes because it's something that's hard hard to tell you're like funk and it's like instead of instead of ah then I'm like falling down it's a donk and then you keep going yeah valuable and I can see why I started going to skateboard helmets in fog almost as long as they were really too obsessed that it wasn't ballistically is okay so the hell knows great it should be go ahead the camera was also great and the care was also great now this camera I've been intending to do a review on this and I'm going to the reason I have not been review yet is one of the strange things we do on in range is we actually use this up for a while before we do the review I've been using this helmet intermittently at two gun and now are as well and frankly it looks pretty beat up yeah all the corners are knocked up everything the paint missing there's scratches all over and one of the things I wanted to do with this because this is intended to be a tactically oriented item it's not a GoPro it's meant for war fighters and costs and SWAT if you able to record what's going on I wanted to make sure that this thing was going to hold up for what its intended purpose was not as shooting matches and it's really cool so you turn it on it actually talks to you via buzzing if you have the helmet and it lets you know when it's recording and turning off or when the battery's low just through that tactile feedback yeah and it does get really good video and acceptable audio so there's going to be reviewing this but this Mohawk helmet if you're in the market for a GoPro or something more durable I think is Mohawk I don't already say it's good to go yes long he's got the right way to mount it with some kind of rug on a helmet or skateboard helmet or something his mohawk said this very well and we went through both days recording blocks of content with two cr123 and it's so loaded yep so after deal with didn't amount of space didn't make a battery everything was great in but just parks the office where I was also really nice for night vision but you have to have it this bill didn't mount mount here and run here for counterweight really cool for that so helmet good to go bad thing boy that's contentious which is funny I didn't expect it to be I saw people I saw comments I posted a picture at the matchup some of my gear layout yeah people like poses doll well I'm like why I just put 240 together with a clamp and well equally however this gives you the overall length of a 30 yet with 60 rounds yeah so how's that work for you follow yogi channel we bought these all sort of like a year ago yep are you sure how nice this is not a mess not sponsored we bought these at a gun show yep figuring look I know and the to hike at mags that I have both have are these and we each have a 60 and underground surefire yes and you bought one of those early and then we each have and one of them that said Jim Sullivan gave us and you for guy who actually - Crysta me our mementos at this point I personally received a magazine from Sullivan that's sitting in my stuff of cool guy stuff right yeah yes let me tell you what I'm more confident hey stay out again sorry Jim this is better I had literally no malfunctions of any time these you're easier to load they actually call you in their hole so short higher stops they do not they're also not of this amount as long as even a 60 run surefire they're sure there's no this is a single stack of cartridges it goes down and winds its way to the drum if unlike the sheer fires which are quak stack mags that multiple Springs and followers and there's more friction in there and it's just us now the surefire that I got from Jim I had nothing but successful I've never had a fail the surefire that I got that I have purchased which might have been one of the clinical early models this was before I received that one from Jim and I had a lot of problems and there was a lot of who in the three gun and they Multi gun community about how to lower their shirt automatic something really low double stripper clips only is grass animal the grass tunnel things real kind of like your Glock mags that is not a problem 50 60 and so if you did all the blue and kept it clean in the surefire back ran but this is filthy it is covered in moon dust there's moon dust in here I know there is because I can see it and this did not have any malfunctions throughout the entire course of fire like I said the length hole 30 you can modify on it and it's actually a nice pretty nice flat place you can modify on that pretty well when you're on the rifle the only caveat I would say this is to come it's slow to load it you have to sit here and crank on this thing and put in the round crank down the thing in front of the RAM but once it's load the slowest it it's a little wonky on your kit yeah there's no good waiting that that was one of the biggest problems I had with it inconveniences that I had with it was there are a lot of stages at our teller you did not start with the revolution yes you started with the right calamity maybe it was MP in a bucket halfway down range or maybe it was in your hand empty because they wanted you to traverse some physical thing before making one across bridge run low good what's that mean maybe you can do it but it's not easy to load that thing on a closed bolt and that's how these are always there I believe if it started unloaded it sort of unloaded all closed which means get the rifle open the bullet lock it open close the charging handle and then grab a thing v and I didn't bother to buy or provide or carry how much for that thing even if you do it's not like it's a speed load quick I tried it I thought I bought the official outs for this and thinking that and I put it on my ear like this is terrible I do I get a feeling that's all like a snare drum it's exactly what it is like it's like a big old thing and it sits in there and you got to clip it up and open it up pull the darn thing out allowing it it's no good it was easier to throw this in myself out that's exactly right it than it was to use the official pouch so unlike a 30 or 40 round or a standard traditional box magazine you can download this by two and then sit it on a casino like closed bolt because the tension of the drum is always consistent with so that if it doesn't work that way well you get a little weaker again we all gave download that by like if you wanted to make this a 30 round mags and they need to do it when it's under six when it flirted to 60 or 58 or 55 you can't maybe some of you out there can I would not have been five ways to do this it's very hard if not impossible to see this on a football so like you said you lock the Bulls open put it in close it and then because the tension on the first round is actually so strong even a well maintained they are doesn't always quite chamber the first round okay and one time that's it so the point is is that if you have this in your gun and hot you're going to go yep if you have to load this on the clock you have to make sure you really want to use it yeah but when you if you were to be going out in an engagement or starting the stage and this one you're a primary cleaning device you would want the world open put it in run reaction make sure it changes the first round close the desk ever put it on state and leave it that way if anyone's incredible idea so another two thumbs up for the team and v60 even expensive if if you if you calculate it in dollar per round it's probably the most expensive magnets so it might be like 160 bucks there's probably some HK thing that's made out of on a pointy end or something but yeah that's it and I'm not gonna go out and buy a lot no even having one I don't know how you would even deal with two but if it's like if you don't have two pouches like this or something in the clutch carrying show shopping needs you need some sort of weird specialized way here I think this seems like a good mag to start with and then abandoned or da couch and then go to box mags after that it maybe you could use 40 if you don't want 30s but I would this this works really well this is why nobody in the military ever really uses drugs in that significantly I could see that being practical yeah one you know the first one can forward like an IIR and configure maybe you have a bag of them or no joke and assist in a box or bag of them you just pull one off put it in I think there's wait but they're just bulky in Kanzi do they re they aren't they are so let's before we get to the radicals which I'm sure it was like what about the mobile so dirty rifles let's go to the next thing rifles over there I thought this was all just piss on that - yeah seal em up okay we talked about the nine-millimeter not being weighed up to lamo - to 370 I bring all of them this is the 75 rain equivalent for now mark 262 is a 77 grain but we're looking for something that was in the 75 gram well yes because our well that so nerdy rifles are configured and zero order around 75 green ammunition yep this stuff is if you can find it obtainable for around 25 cents to 30 cents around my experience with to less 75 greener particulars that it's actually a little better than their 55 great stuff although I've not really had a problem with it 55 except even the 55 green stuff is kind of not very accurate to the bullets the projectiles themselves are kind of become my experience with the 75 green stuff is that they are better than in it because they're manufacturing it specifically be something different and we had I think zero yes I had one we will meet you and we'll take that stuff out and actually do some accuracy testing with it but you clear all the long range with the exception of one rifle steyr mm-hm with that am oh I did I did it can't be that bad I was shooting this stuff up to 300 plus yards on tending circles with a 14.5 inch barrel and a red dot with to look 75 green animal and got them all yeah so it was not this that only bad now I do think we are going to do an accuracy testing we're going to put this against what is legitimate military issue mark 262 yes a little bit of that I have a lot of underground with it so we'll do that and we'll prove out how good this is in comparison but I can tell you for stuff as hard as hard to televise this was fine yeah and then we didn't have to go spending 60 or 75 cents or a [ __ ] around on ammo that was mostly going to be used on paper five years it also meant that every five year target that I double tap I didn't spend a dollar 20 or Orlan dollars for that matter so when you shoot a lot this stuff matters and all you guys like that all the thoughts well maybe it sucks because what I'd rather shoot the NA shoe and saving money makes a difference and all you're going to destroy your extract you're going to destroy your gesture you're going to score you're very often those are all replaceable parts that are Nightrider girls and I don't care frankly every time I just read the barrel it was time for me to spin it off put a new barrel on anyway and the amount of money I saved on that crap-ass tool animal save me enough money the bottom another yep so and we're good love it have no problems with it all right the belle of the ball I want to go to these because we're going to be doing a deep dive on every sub component so let's talk about the resin platform and how it serves you as a whole and how did your DMR what would stone would do rectals it pretty well pretty well pretty well not perfectly okay I think as an EMR rifle it wasn't quite up to the task of the long range helm okay now certainly that's in conjunction to conjunction with my shooting skills which are also not up to the task of this match not just that they were aged 12 into fights of about 300 that in 25 now an hour or 30 mile an hour across one perpendicular cross one not an example shifting it was was quite windy especially the first day but really the whole weekend imagine that real quick I was Russell Fagan and I who'd be one trooper by the way um we were looking at the data and when I was shooting my worst stage which was in horrible wind and guess what I was his worst stage the same time his worst stage was my worst stage at the same time because of the wing condition that's the nature of the beef we are looking for analytics yeah it's like let me do shoot this stage in like that is like that's what I was shooting that baby goes Oh both of our stages were at the same time so conditioning that I I think that the long-range rifle in this heart is hell match was more it was more substantial than a DMR configuration with designed for now that said you cleared it right is right now yeah if I were sending out your rifles specifically for carousel I would use a variable power object because that's that's what the stage is that's the lineage of the stage spine that's what variable our optics have come to be designed for there's a symbiotic thing there the three gun encourages the variable you can crank it down to one for Clemson and crank it up to at first for now six are 80 that's their long range and go back and forth very easily ie like I still continue to really like the concept of a moderate even low-power fixed magnification object so you're not convinced yet I'm not it gets more and more people real-world dudes are bouncing very they're moving in the variables and there's more than one reason for that one of them is that even a human size target presentation do not only may not be the entire person it might be just ahead this trip and the ability just like hunting to go to eight identify and then if you don't need a zoom back to four this trip has merit to wait you have you don't have that here right now we're going to talk about the optic in detail that's another video okay beyond that the rifle did pay well lightness is there were times when words like carrying a backpack and tearing themselves to care and right after moving all our craft from one stage to another you know what's the rifle like this thing you had I'm not that is absolutely true that was an epiphany when we were walking from stage to stage there was a moment where I picked up my bag o lambo because I didn't want to go back to the park we essentially were truthful without paper because the only thing we didn't do was carry the back to the stage yeah well we had camera gear audio gear ammo we didn't want to go back to the car we carry all the ammo for today we had everything we had everything we need to be self-sustaining for the entire day the only difference is we didn't carry it through this day wait wait I put all that junk on and then I pick up my local starter new rifle throw it almost anyway I'm not kidding it really felt like that was that was the lightest part of my kiss yeah yeah they handled well all of the weapon manipulation was good the bipod I did not get much opportunity to use the bipod that's another freaking thing we're seeing light enough five five use in three go every time there's a long-range stage is set up where you're shooting off the barricade of some sort that's meaning you don't need a bipod right so there were there was there were two stages where the bipod was usable one I got to use the other ones the spinner the stage just and the spinner doom where I basically cut out in fact I literally timed out before it was a 150 yard rifle spinner in 30 mile an hour craft line so just as well what I did to get to it because I wouldn't respond at any there are also four inch auto poppers at under 50 yards as well which looks like little black specks on the horizon and that was after clearing three pistols cetera so did you get a chance to use it there I maintained that I still think it's a practical useful thing to have on a gun but you can get to showcase it in this match so the rifle as a whole you said you had no reliability issues no no malfunctions correct I don't I don't think you had any Mel Constance I had one instance where I had to where I put this in and drop the bolt and it one pathway pull back because of the drilling up yeah that's the tension on this I seen it on multiple layers oh yeah man one thing I do want to one thing that people may not have taken home with our introduction about the world with standard rifles is that this is a project of working process yes this is not everything we did in the introduction does not mean that's where these are going to stay this is an evolving concept in fact I've already added a weapon light to this which was not on it last weekend when we did the match because that just seems like something that ought to be on a rifle that's general purpose any rifle that has any general purpose application whether it's for real-world tactical use or even MAGIX or home defense needs a white light requires a white light if you can't identify what you're shooting at you can't shoot it I have done this before I've been the guy making this joke that how stupid is it have a white light and a bipod on the same right if what you're going to shoot I never saw that though yeah I'm guilty of having cracked that one myself okay but the rationale for it is this is a rifle this is capable three four hundred yard shot zip and the bipod helps with absolute and it's also a rifle that is totally at home at three yards in the darkened house totally I think this is a fantastic type of rifle to throw in the trunk you always have to think any of it can kind of do anything but you know what sometimes you're driving around it and we're in your house at night and there's nothing that prevents this rifle from being used at very close range usually you know what Susie is if you've got a 15 pound precision rifle little fortunately okay this it make laws those I think it does tip so that's why I put that on there I think is there I want to go into detail yet there are a couple other changes we're going to make to this tip on that we'll touch on as we look at some of the others 1 1 we can say real quick just because people are probably going to know this is we did change your ambidextrous qualities right ok we didn't talk about them oh and that's another deed I've so don't we're not going to go into some depth we found the big bad liver or whatever always got it it was well it is it's a hack yeah and people recommended this I it was viewers I've recommended I advocated of course called the PDQ it requires you to mill away on the receiver to actually get the fit or Boyd up the veterans yeah that thing's fantastic and then a whole nother separate video we've added a more Hamid exes handling to the gun with a much better solution so and you've decided to add a white light and the scope you were trying to figure out where the sweet point and I may be moving the bipod back a little bit okay the farther forward the bipod is the less you can actually swing it down without having to move your entire body through so far forward is nice for balance it's also nice for recoil mitigates me but there is no recoil in this rifle p.m. no not really note that the five six are there and it occurred to me that I put this here because I was just kind of worried if that's where you put iPods right okay so actually I like there's one other reason to put it up front and that was because getting there with a little wrench to attach it easier to now is going to be tricky back there when I think we can make it work and I will probably move the pipe on to something it's funny because we saw them doing that will be Xu 42 they need to buy I bought two different locations for to doing the reasons disks exactly so you're having the same debate yeah love will tweet that you threw some extra crap on them yeah mines changing a little too and it's evolving as well and it's evolving in a way that you haven't even seen yet so I'll clear this will clear clear so online a couple things have changed since we saw the introduction I switch to this m block version of the AFT I do like angled grips I like it I like you there vertical grips random grips I wanted left stuff to hang up on and the angled grip gives me a good solution for now that I've added more general purpose equipment to the front of my rifle a hands up it's really when I go here I've got access to my life but active someone's a pressure pad for my laser system which I'll get into in a minute and so this right here is a good place to grab onto and I can always index yep it also gives me a place to race against them if so I can go against the barricade at full instant before here I can push against the barricades yeah having something to push or pull against on barricade is valuable and I think it's something we're missing I really yeah I think right um so the laser system what I did when I went to the art is L is on trying to as we are we'll fall what would sooner duquan the project I got I wanted to go to the match the distant figure how I would have it as my general purpose rifle even though some of the equipment I put on it add more relevancy to the match this match did not require a white light although it could if there was a dark tunnel or something it just never happened and so a white light kind of made sense I did there are my are our and visible laser designation unit with pressure pad because that's why I want to run the gun because I do have night vision and I like the idea the laser beam head back up being my backup sighting system right I also have still left this rail area empty and I did not put a magnifier on it because I did not want to shoot against people with magnifier I wanted to stay in will total limit this and but it's also real face for not only a magnifier but also if I want to mount the pvs-14 behind my all of them I can so this real space being open is required to be able to do that and there's a reason there's something that's oh it's so I think have real space here that's a whole nother conversation the hollow sound is fantastic the sight is killer um the automatic light adjustment from the solar panel I used it on some stages but on other stages I want to manual mode and I wanted to bring the dot down to the lowest possible brightness that it could be still be usable on see tiny longnecks targets when the Sun is right outside and this solar panel goes we and this things are slowly super-bright great for intermediate range target engagement or if you went in between light and dark but when I'm shooting a 4-inch plate at 150 yards you don't want that brightness to be very intense right so by doing manual bringing example minimal then I have the dimma stock which gave me the most precise painting for the least amount of flare around boom whether they can get the word being so it got rid of the blue okay I have not put the PDQ leather on here for ambidextrous and because I don't need it but I'm going to put it on anyway because we make any rifles alike um the SLT one the brand-new trigger from Keo Arms was awesome zero malfunctions wonderful trigger pull we did have her run into a guy who actually had a step crash thing on stage because he had a camera come out and go oh there were so um I heard about there's two you heard one of the guys tell me about it we talked to one guy in particular in person and sort of thing you can't really replicate it on demand I know you tried for what I tried really hard but I couldn't give it up but it just occasionally happens and it usually happens at the worst possible time like on the stage it will happen at the clock or in Baga yes that's what it will happen but a primer popping up which can't happen with properly manufactured ammunition really can it will only one it matters magically migrates to put into your fabric I'm serious into your fire control group and gambling I can't do it with this character this trigger is mitigates that dramatically so this trigger was excellent safety was actually the ability to put the safety on or off you can put the hammer down to me it's good that I like it that's another debate for another day one of the thing I did from beginning the introduction video is pay people I'd not have noticed or add notice is right now I just have a standard USB are charging analog you have the improved charging animal with the gas seal guess you're a misdirection system in an extended carbon handle um this you probably do not have this problem especially being left-handed it's less of an issue but extended charging handles or useful listing on your back nothing hurts yeah it really does it and that extended target animal tend to catch on deer now it may not have happen to you with this mask but if I was getting ready for the magic while I'm sketching I'm here for you I've uses it started extended charging animals before but not necessarily environment ah and so I just went to the standard island because one we saw this in the back it doesn't hurt and to work out like they get caught on something yeah I am looking into the solutions for this and in fact you didn't notice yet I've acquired a new product and set about one for us to test with that supposed to mitigate all the problems that's supposed to be ambidextrous starting angle as well as not catch on beer in fact it was designed specifically for another second vehicle my piratical characters so if it turns out to be the right solution and this is where the what was one of your projects going to continue to evolve ultimately when we're done with this we're going to be like these these products and these items are we think it's good to go right so I ran with standard ESG Ireland the one we're coming maybe the better answer we will find that out but this curve it does not do anything to gas mitigation and that's not great so that's one of the things I want to improve next um I will point out for the setup of this right both because I'm left-handed and because I have to hop there that extended lever does have more viability than it needs under Michael I agree you don't really need it there so much it's more useful for me I agree and when you're running it when you run in the PDS 14 here or whatever at center and again the wall excellent and so everything everything's a trade-off the other thing is a compromise I think the one that I have ordered fixes both problems okay so let's see when that gets here there's gonna be a video about that of course cool and you are running the Jim tech adjustable bolt carrier group yes which is another video yeah but you had no issues with a child perfect we energies when I was kid I got to be configurable with the suppressor didn't use a suppressor and never known it was anything special I wanted to give a glowing review for the Viking tactics two-point adjustable sling because we went through an entire training regimen to get you ready to use this yes and the point and there was almost more ways it uses math yeah so we have these cool kick-ass adjustable to point things which I'm a huge proponent of and there was two stages where I think we Sloan well for something briefly yeah I thought we were going to have a lot more transition and dynamic role going on back climb over wall they had a stitch in the guns almost every time yeah so we did not a really discipline to the path and what's interesting is when you are actually ditching the gun that swing goes from being neutral to being an actual appearance because we do not want to do is have to swing on and then have to take it off to ditch the gun there was one things in particular where we shot a bunch of space stuff do you have to clear they're going to make sure was empty and you have to retain the rifle don't go over the pivots whatever and then climb up us a ladder and an engagement sniper attack and then ditch the gun and then ditch it at the end so this is where things artificial stage design has to be safe and but some of those are cushy a letís cause you to do things you wouldn't be in real life this sling being able to retain the rifle valuable items the important however in that particular stage it was much better just to hold the rifle jump over the pit climb up the ladder like this shoot because at the end you were growing in thrashing now if the stage design this is what I might want to recommend for hard saw going forward and next year is retain the rifle throughout the entire course of fire for all divisions they make sure it's clear and everything safe but you have to have it all the time now this is not the liability that was now an advantage right so I think that would be a good recommendation for the next year and that's clearly the more realistic approach to take if something are a lot of real-world situations where you tore your rifle away if something I think I can't I know people are already thinking this why don't you do this - yeah Keita I can't I can't do this exactly because I am under the green rules of that rank since Ken and the bezel subsea runs sucks they set their own dictates and they're comfortable with clearing rifles and then carry if my range will allow me to do is I would clear white holes and retain rifles throughout entire courses of water I team because of my range so maybe hard as hell can in the second year I would recommend Osaka can about this retain the rifle throughout the entire course of fire yeah and that will also be a real big R into some of the three guys we're here that set up that way yeah so that was very interesting but so I would say my gun had zero malfunctions it ran in my general-purpose application role with stuff on it that didn't need to be there we should swallow should point out this thing is still at the weight of an SP one with if all the stuff I miss the Hall of Sun and my Russian zenyk Oh IR and visible laser goodness and pressure pad and light and vertical grip this gun now coming into six times five ounces which is still less than msp1 or right around with sp1 so this gun in this config is still an SP one way the other thing I would like to mention is the carbon fiber free-flow suit with excellent yes cool really well however one caveat these bolts that tighten down here that lock this pretty close to to the system when the gun some of these stages I shot 65 rounds or 70 rounds in one of them back off enemies with two bolts here flaming freaking I do not touch this bolt that's the only everything else was great but weight was great the fact that it's vented to cool the barrel is great holding it like this was great only like that is fine even though the gasket right here hold it will find this don't touch those two bolts something to think about other than that everything was fantastic so okay and the last part of gear that I want to talk about before done is we use our box feeding or box magazine we'll use TX we have this debate with some of the shooters their background of the guy that was new and to the shooting environment he had us GI bags that he got a thing for eight and nine bucks apiece and when I'm making fun he had toxin bottles he did his gun has double feeds that had a degree related data polls override was a nice gun with us Jerry max here's the insidious thing about us guys even if you bought $20 one they are aluminum lifts that you can't tell really very reliably if they're okay about so you might have a perfect when you might not occur when you find out when it malfunctions but when the whole texturing is can help but here's the thing pmags are now knows their issue Marines and adopt ISM the durable as hell and when they fail their obvious right and like the feel of snacks off now there are other polymer mags on the market however these are the most Olympic they have a lot of market use they have a lot of TNA as a result of use them I have never I'm telling this is honest truth never have a problem of the P life ever in my entire trading career and I'm not sure format cool I don't even know about a cool but these Mads plain work and if you might have done the work just I know they don't fit in my pouch as well over okay fine it's more important to have a reliable magazine the imagine work long as you're running an AR and they fit your Magra use a damn team AG don't stop fighting that it's religion it doesn't matter anymore I think we're over an hour I hope people appreciate this long dive into all the gear we use oh I won't work these two guys out about Drac precision fans people ask about this all time I use them at all my thick matches isn't it to God I haven't done a review of them yet for the same reason ahead Leonard with a mohawk I want to use it for a long time and they're expensive got fish stupid expensive yeah okay here's my greasy do a worthless will be in the overview but the fact that those those neat ads that are there when you want them to be but not there and we don't want them to be in effect or not in the way imagine ouches on the side of the pants are designed to hold extra magazines or water balls or things there's tons of pockets everywhere to hold stuff I had a equipped expendable law in case I got a stuffed case there's one thing in one of those pocket I stuck extra managing the box when I needed them to of the new fad like I said I will be perfect you pay big money if I'm watch the cry was wearing until they literally fall apart and avaiable I think every pair I've seen someone where I have been repaired in this one place if they're they're made in New York City I think and they're both Brooklyn I think I think I mean a Brooklyn but they are u.s. made in one of the more expensive places in the u.s. to make stuff and those pants are fantastic so still get a full review on that but that was great other than that we've gone through everything I think so I hope people appreciate this each dive this is the kind of stuff that we can now do because we're not clipping yep well not that we have a word what because we're holy people no I hope not because we're holy patreon supporters we're now playing to the core audience but then people want this level and those are the people that I think are probably the ones helping support us through patreon absolutely so thank you guys for being those guys and into an audio podcast so if we will listen to it your car so watching the video that's one of the benefits we can give to our patreon supporters yes it is thanks a lot Harmons house to gun next year 2018 ends and bigger we'll be there at it well I'll be there sure I'm going up yeah thanks
