all right so my wife just bought this huge mirror if you carry on watching I show you how I put it on the wall sills I'm going to be using is six foot level but you don't have to use a six foot that will you could just use a long piece of timber hammer drill with a five point five millimeter drill bit and I've just put a bit of tape on it so that just tells me how to eat the drill for the screw that I'm using I'm using two inch and 3/4 screws I'll be using red blocks a hammer screwdriver I'm gonna take my jet I leave a link to all these tools in the description below but I'm looking to have solid walls in my house but if you've got plaster board walls anything heavy I'd recommend these the plasterboard anchors so you drill a hole to take that shank you put it in and as you tighten the screw it pulls that knock back and then wings open up behind the plasterboard that's the only one I'd recommend for putting up something heavy on the wall right the first thing I did was decide where the ones at the minutes ago now we decided to rub it in line with the architrave day so the first thing I've done I've measured from the end of the walls of the architrave I found the center of the wall so from there I got a major dance I'm gonna even so from the colon to the architrave measures I'm leave notes of that so then I want that to the top of the picture so it was 470 right so it's 470 to the top of the architrave if you look down at the fixing it's about six seven six so that our wake it out so down from the Colvin yeah she was four seventy I'm a hanging loop was six seven six so that's where I'll put me mark its there's me center mark so pleasure down from the Colvin six seven six she's there okay because you've got a center point on the wall I want to find the center point at the back of the mirror so I need to measure between the two hundred points and then divide dough in half right so I've weighed out center point between the two hundred points that happens to be 855 so again be there along level or you could just use a piece of timber and put a rough little mark on it measure 855 okay so we got the center point and the two marks which should line up with the to hang them prints so just make sure that one lines are fine okay so the center line we put on the spirit level gonna line that up with the center line on the wall okay so we just need to get that level and then transfer the marks onto the wall that's really need to drill the wall probably screws right so I've got that level and I can mark each end but if you haven't got a six what that wolf which most people don't have I said you could use a long piece of timber so the same rule applies you do a centerline and then you do half and half the distance between the two hanging points then mark it on the wall my point okay so that might not be level so all you do you get you take my here and you measure down six seven six from the Coleman that's where your point is you want to drill at that one not that one okay so a little tip for you and spend the left into who the floor afterwards and you wait a moment you get it here away under the drill bit and who owes you [Music] right so that's how you put a big mayor up on the wall so thanks for watching and don't forget we've got a website now so if you want to check that out it's in the description below so if you liked the video give us a thumbs up and don't forget to subscribe to this channel I'll see you next time you
