HABITATION BOX MARCH Home Décor Box +oversharing & digressing

i have this giant box today i am so damn excited okay so quick quick reason why i have this box um i recently just discovered home decor channels and i'm freaking obsessed with like um our vanilla and lone fox and i haven't really found too many more beyond that but i've just like recently become obsessed with decorating my home and i've never i don't know i've never done it before usually i'll just go out to the store with the intention of getting something else walk past the home decor section and be like that little sign is cute and it's cheap and i'll get that and i'll stick that in my house truly nothing really goes i was like around christmas i decided that i was going to like purposefully decorate my half bathroom which is like my guest bathroom on my main floor like uh not well more wintery it's still decorated like that and today i went to target to see if they had like maybe some spring bathroom decor and i was unsuccessful well this is a home decor subscription and it is created by a woman who actually graduated from the design institute of san diego so it is professionally curated and it's all high quality pieces and when you buy high quality pieces it tends to add up very quickly so getting them in a subscription is a little bit more of like a discounted price and if you know home decor you kind of like go out there and you see a sign for 20 bucks or like a basket for 30 bucks and like it adds up so quick so i bought stuff today for my front porch and i spent 300 literally insane and i didn't even buy everything that i needed like i didn't even get flowers and stuff okay so what i have here is this gigantic box there are two different subscription levels so you can get the regular subscription which is 79.99 per box as low as 66 and change if you do like a 12 month subscription and i say per box because it's not necessarily per month you get to make that choice when you go through checkout if it's going to be monthly or quarterly for yourself which i thought was really cool it'll feel a bit more seasonal and i'm going to guess and i haven't unboxed this yet so i don't know for sure but i'm going to guess that the items in here do definitely pertain to the season that you're in a little bit more like maybe this isn't necessarily like an easter decorating box but it could be a bit more spring inspired and that subscription is going to contain four to six items or they have their elite box which is 130 per box again you can choose if you want it every single month or seasonally you're going to get seven to nine high quality items selected in that one that one goes as low as 105 if you were to do like a 12 month subscription it's also always free shipping for the subscription boxes and they have a shop and in their shop they have like bundled items from past boxes um that you can get at a discounted price and they have free shipping on 65 or more in that um i just thought that that part of the website was pretty cool we do also of course have a coupon code it's chrissy10 i'll save you 10 off of any of the subscriptions whichever level there you choose oh my god i'm pretty excited i'm already so excited okay this is just kind of like um sneak peek what's in the box what's in the box you might be too young to know what that means oh there's a little thing that says scan me print your point your camera at this code and click the link to view the styling card oh my god that is so cool i'll do that at the end so we can kind of see how the box decided to style it they also do have a free like styling service for subscription box members so um i think i'm going to try that out and uh even though this was sent to me in pr i kind of want to see if she'll let me try it out maybe i'll take um a couple pictures of like my foyer area i'm knocking everything over because this is such a big box okay move over there egg it's an easter egg from glossybox not just a normal leg but i was thinking of taking a picture of like my my moi foyer or like my living room that really needs help and kind of seeing if um kelly the founder can kind of point me in the right direction or maybe there's some different shop items on our site that i can purchase that'll just kind of like elevate the space because um both of those spaces are grossly neglected um first thing that we have on top um i'm guessing we'll end up going in something here or you can stick it into a vase these are those like little uh like cotton cotton willow i want to say the other word but i think that'll probably get demonetized if i say yes oh my gosh they're so cute so uh you can definitely tell that this is high quality this is again like one of those things if you go to the store and you buy a stem of something i didn't even realize was so insane i bought pompous grass it's all the way back there and um i spent 50 on amazon for five sticks of pompous grass and then i went to michael's and i wanted like something like this and they start at like eight dollars a piece and they don't even look good so this is really nice all right next up we have a paddle or a sign everything in here is wrapped so nice oh cool i believe it's a chalkboard sign so uh i might even put this oh what if i okay i'll get the styling choices but i'm even considering if i was to put this in my garden like a welcome to my garden or put it in front of my front porch and just like kind of scroll welcome or something on there maybe it's not outdoor proof oh but they have those chalk markers i could get a chalk marker okay let's go into something kind of bigger here by the way this is the um cheaper box this is the regular not the elite subscription let's break out this it has something in the bottom what is that oh like maybe to place like a candle in there i guess you can kind of pinch it kind of like a piggy bank and pull it out so you can kind of set a pillar candle in there because there's really no other way of doing that oh that is neat um so this is just like a what do you call it it's a special type of metal i can't think of what it is but here it is um it kind of looks like a it's like a cute little birdhouse i think that this is something that you could probably keep indoors or outdoors i don't know it doesn't say i would likely keep it indoors and just put one of those like led type candles or something in here um all right and then there's something else in here that kind of matches that in style and i don't know what it is what is it it's from a brand called 47th and maine and it's really cool like rustic it's just like um welded with almost like a gold weld here and i love this like distressed brass looking legs like everything it just seems like kind of tarnished it's really cool but it's open on the inside so i'm very curious as to um the styling guides for that oh my god i'm so sweaty i don't know why i'm so damn sweaty i switch deodorants whenever i switch deodorants that i'm a natural deodorant person and i'm over sharing right now i tend to like need to detox from the first deodorant and and go into the next one and i tend to have like a rough couple weeks okay and then here's the last item in here after my over sharing and we have like a little um it's cream colored my camera is is jacking that up it's not as white as it is and i do not know how to fix the white balance on this camera i apologize it is more of like an off-white and then it has some distressing all around where it's like purposefully paint chipped up and um little hammer nails in the side here but it has four little compartments on the inside very curious what we're doing with all of these items because immediately in my head i don't know what to do with them um because like i said i absolutely suck at home decor type things so let's scan it so all you do is you point you open up your camera you point your camera to the qr code you don't need a special qr reader qr code reader or anything like that and then it pops up right here to open up the website and there you go so it looks like we have all of our april styling tips wait a minute okay so the qr code might not change based on the month because all of these items are from the april box which looks super duper cute yeah and they just kind of have like um styling tips i don't know what to do with my stuff though let's see maybe it's in past inspiration oh they have a facebook group and you can share your style box in their facebook group or on instagram let's check out their instagram because i deleted my facebook i didn't delete delete it for forever it's just that i found that in my downtime i was tapping that app far too often and and i like legit just need to detox from it so it's not gone forever but habitation box aha okay so here are some pictures from this month this is an adorable little plant holder if we want to go ahead and stick um some plants in here and they did end up using this sign to mark their garden and i'm guessing it's just like um a permanent a white permit marker i have a silver permanent marker that would work on there as well the in this one see i would never have thought of any of these things basket they have this thing turned on its side so you can kind of see into it instead of actually putting anything in it and then they have the uh cotton thing kind of just like hanging out on the side and again in this one they have that piece with the cotton thing inside of it so um yeah there are definitely like style inspiration things that they have on their site oh this one too oh i might do something like this put it in my bathroom and just have like a bunch of different things in there that is that's a really cute one i love that idea and i mean i guess i oh god that was a terrible sound i guess i don't really need design inspo for this um i might ask uh reach out to them and just ask if it's weatherproof if i can also put it outside so this might actually fit into all of the porch decor that i bought today um this could be a really cool addition to it oh i'm excited okay if you're looking for professional design type things this kind of looks like at least in this box and in some of the other things that i'm seeing on the site that it does kind of fall a little bit more into like the shabby chic farmhouse um like natural organic kind of styling then this could
