Hi everyone, in this video I will show you how to make such a diamond. First let's create a model of a diamond in blender to do this, create a new mesh cylinder and select 8 vertices and type triangle fun Next, switch to edit mode using the Tab key and use the Ctrl + R key combination to divide into 5 parts. Then you can turn on the transparent editing mode and make S + 0 for the bottom side. then select these sides and press Edge> subdivide then select these sides and press control-t the same thing needs to be done from the top vertices then select the top sides and rotate them 22.5 degrees R+Z+ -22.5 This number = 180/8 Don't forget to select these sides, then press Select > check deselected Select top view and move these sides usind S button like this: then select these vertices and start making the diamond shape This you can move to the top At the end, move the bottom to form a diamond shape. After that go to normal mode and do: Shade smooth Set shading angle 6 degrees if everything turned out smoothly, you can export the model if not, continue to level it And before exporting the models to Unity, do this: R+X+ -90 Ctrl > rotation and scale + R+X+90+Enter Now orientation in Unity will be 0 0 0 Then export as FBX Now let's create a single texture for the diamond, any noise texture will do. copy it 2 times and divide each texture into a separate channel After that, do not touch the green channel. Go to Filter> Other> Offset, and shift the blue channel like this: - 3,- 3 Next move the red channel to + 3 and + 3 And we got this noise texture with gradient. Save this texture The texture is ready and you can already create a shader. You can choose the model of the diamond on the preview. go to shader settings and make Surface> transparent and turn on Two sides First add 1 value for Opacity now this diamond is translucent Then you can add some color to Albedo. Lets add out texture rewind the video to see how to make this texture Add Sample texture node for it Multiple all with emission color Enable HDR for color All these goes to emission now it does not look like diamond at all and the depth is not visible You have to add some other texture to distort the main one. the noise texture can be any, but not the same as in the main texture Then add parallax node If after connecting parallax you get an error: Just add clamp node before the emission. now it looks more like Diamond Set smoothness to 0.8 Set metallic from 0 to 0.1 Add Fresnel to make the diamond shine. Set power to 6 and multiply with 0.3 Fresnel effect should not be so strong Then add it to emission And it's all! Let's see how the material looks on the scene.
