Grooms Letter to his Parents Read by his Sister

now we have a reading I have a letter that my brother gave me I have no idea what it says a little nervous before I begin reading Josh's letter I would like to take this opportunity to get something off my chest and has been haunting me for over 25 years I just felt this was the right time making me read this verbatim when Josh and I were kids I was about 12 and Josh 10 we were playing baseball on the street in the front of our house Josh always the excellent baseball player got me out and won the game in my frustration I threw the baseball bat at the time I was afraid of getting into trouble so I lied I told you mom and dad that I tripped over the bat and flew up and accidentally hit Josh as preposterous of an explanation as that was I stuck to that story this outlandish lie I have perpetrated over the years last night I'm coming clean we'll finally my conscience before all of you as my witness in my frustration I threw the baseball bat in charge I did not need to be with an ex and I am deeply sorry we're the life okay I feel much better now here is the letter Joshua this is from Josh dear Mom and Dad as I am sitting down to write this letter the first thing that comes to my mind is how fortunate I am to have thrown out as if I was an only child of course back then there was always Jen hanging around the house interrupting asking nonsense questions like how come you all went on vacation for a week and another or how come you rented my bedroom to a gypsy family on it one year at least with an option where will I sleep remember how much fun we all had after Jen left the house for calling I always knew you loved me more I knew because you both told me so much Jen I really sorry yeah you weren't supposed to hear this part I guess that was probably not the best time or place but oh well you'll get over it seriously as I sit down to write this letter I immediately reflect on how fortunate I was to be born into such a loving and caring family and yes that includes you too Jen both of you mom and dad have always been there for me and supported my endeavors you have always tried to teach me right from wrong you taught me how to respect people by always showing me respect you always supported the choices and decisions I made even if you did not always agree with them you helped me immensely with my formal and informal education preparing me for this world and I am forever grateful thank you so much for welcoming Lauren into our family with such ease and affection it means so much to me I am proud to be your son one day I hope to be as good of a parent to my children as you have vintage mine thank you and I love you both very much by the way after I'm married I think we should try and stay in touch you think this is gonna be a fun evening there will come a time when you will give even Big Sisters always do you
