Grim Dawn | New Player Strong Start + Act 2 Tutorial | Full Guide | Nov 2022

hello welcome back to the channel what we're going to do here is we are going to do as much of Act 2 as I can cram into an hour I'll just get in normal difficulty what I'd say is have a look at the video description for links particularly the link out to part one of this series go and have a look at that if you didn't already because I'm not going to do a massive previously on intro it's a soldier it's got basic kit stuff that you can pick up easily stuff that a new player can go and replicate that sequest reward that's a quest reward that's well it's part of the quest but you don't have to even have to have the question go and pick it up the same place every time Target farmable item Target farmable item go and pick that up quite early on in forgotten God's area after killing Cree craft that craft that the blacksmith that's a drop that's a drop that's a drop that's a drop although saying that you can craft gloves and boots if you want to what I'm going to do is I've not got any toggle skills so there's nothing to toggle on always check that when you first go into the game on a character if you've got toggle skills toggle them on I'll get a toggle School in a bit so I can demonstrate that this thing needs six scrap and three thousand bits the quest I've got is repair the bridge okay don't worry about gather blood of the watches don't worry about assistive Bismol Cult Don't worry about find the Soleil or what's it and don't worry about anorex brothers that's all forgotten God stuff I will be going back to that eventually not now the only reason I went into forgotten Gods was to nip up to that Rift to grab the leovina's ring I'm not going back in there for a while what did I say six scrap three thousand Iron bits I've got 19 scrap and 49 000. if you've played normally done plan you've exploring running around got to level 20 before leaving Devil's cross and you'll probably have the same sort of stuff I've got you'll be able to do this if not you're gonna have to go back and find some scrap and if you've wasted all your money you're gonna have to earn some money just trying to remind myself what I'm doing here I've got moved to on left Mouse button I've got a spammable force wave on right Mouse button Blitz on one vanish which is movement skill that I bought from bismill that I put on there like I said all of this stuff's in the first video if you go and have a look at that war crying it's got a Celestial pad bull rush on it to give it some direct damage let's get into this Blitz these boys out right so so far what I'm going to say is with the most basic gear you can get if you followed the guide put all your points into physique built your soldier skills up the way I have that's a one pointer the other three points come from gear that's the one point of the other three points come from gear one pointer I'm gonna put a few more in there for some more resistances max State maxed out 1.1 point balls Rush on war cry I've got three points so I get a few more what I'm going to do is I'll just grab a I think I'll grab a complete constellation maybe we'll go a bit tanky and go with dried I don't know right let's get this boss it's a boss fight up here or a hero fight or something it's that guy there he's not even a boss is he so just running hit him and he's down get rid of these ranged idiots you can Blitz and vanish as much as you want take these out they're all going to get one-shotted because some some popular opinion out there is that soldiers bought oh let's just talked to that right you don't have to sold just boring because it doesn't do a lot of damage and you're just tanking around everywhere this is doing plenty of damage oh yeah there's a chest there with some stuff in it come in here and open that smash that and what you'll find here right so you come out of you come out of Devil's Crossing and you go through this area and you get this boss he's always hanging around outside that building sometimes this isn't blocked and you can go that way blocked when you get here do what I'm doing and run this way what I'll do with this video actually when it's a linear path and there's no choices involved I'll just Speed the video up and shut up and stop talking because it will be obvious what's going on but when there's a choice I'll record it and explain what's going on if you come around here this this guy actually just kill other enemies are hanging around first level 22. I'll do the level up straight away so you don't gotta hang around and wait point in physique now what was I doing who knows oh yeah I was continuing to level up on it yeah I want to Max this out and get um oberon's rage probably do I need anything there let's get that point on the end of Blitz just to give it a bit more power it does take a bit of extra energy but it should be all right right and then I'm gonna Rush up and get olderon's Rage which is like a it's a unique skill you can only have one of these so if you've got an exclusive skill on another Mastery as well as this one you can you have to choose what you want that's the aggressive one that's the defensive one and that requires a shield or two rounded melee weapon so I could use that hardcore maybe I'd go with that just to be safe I'm gonna go with this because I want to do a load of damage here's a thing read the thing that dropped from the cables I was killing if you're doing a any kind of a demolitionist build or something to do with fire that's great and it's got a nice effect if you put it on you get that thing where you your shoulders are on fire there's a similar helmet later as well so you can be like you know Mr fire guy with everything burning up so you come down here kill the local Wildlife look at that one go right so this bloke this house is always here how you get there you can go around that way or you can come around this way it's it's a loop so you end up down here whichever way you go the path might be blocked down there might be blocked there you come down here talk to this float so what he's going to do this is where you have consequences if you pick the middle option you'll be all right if you try and rage at him you'll go nuts and he'll kill his family and then he'll start fighting you so pick the middle option and then that one and then he'll say yeah I'm all right and then you Rift him back what you can do now I recommend doing this on this character get yourself back over to DC and go and talk to him he's in the prison you'll see he'll give you a ring with physical damage on it which if you couldn't be bothered going to get the leovina's ring this will be what you want to equip right so he's giving you this physical damage ring let's have a look at that thing it's that thing there I'll put it up next to the other Quest rewards that's you always get one of them I think the values on it might slightly differ but you know so that's doing plus 18 physical damage Health Pierce resistance seven percent Elemental resistance so your Elemental resistance will drop but your Pierce resistance will go up you have to figure out where whether you think it's worth taking the hit uh maybe let's have a look what happens to force race there's Force wave if you whatever skill you've got on your right Mouse button will appear up here that move two doesn't do damage so it's showing zero damage weapon damage always show Stadium I'm kind of ignoring that some more interested in more Force ways doing so if we swap this over 1788 7 18 45 actually does more damage with the leovina's ring than with that thing on I'm going to hang on to that just in case right we'll go back in there so that's that Quest that's that's an optional Quest you can miss that if you don't go near that house but you know you want to go and rescue and get a bit of XP feel free he's now gone right so where we're heading now we're heading north west but it's not exactly a straightforward route I'm just coming down here to do a bit exploring sometimes there's stuff pick up sometimes this enemies to attack you there's one there look I'd recommend exploring the whole area just go all the way around see what you can find lift Stones up go in buildings smash things fix stuff up when you finished exploring down here add up like I said Northwest many of these routes are blocked don't worry about it just keep exploring around and find your way up and eventually you'll get to this little detour bit off here by this Pond and there's a guy sitting on the side of the road here I'll get the math part there's the bridge out from Devil's Crossing and it's a bit of a maze already but if you explore all this area you won't get lost because the only way ultimately to get out of this area is over to the Northwest and you'll see this Drew Watson sitting on the side of the road so talk to him his quest's a bit iffy but don't worry about that I'll track down his partner of yours though he's saying somebody's left him for dead go and get him now there's a cave up here don't go in there yet well you can but I'm this is the way I would recommend doing this you can go up here if you want and go in that cave but there's another entrance and you will come back to this in a minute there's a shrine in there but that's just to let you know that entrance is there I'd say go and get the next Rift open get a few things sorted out start earning rep with Rovers if you're not already earning rep with Rovers because that Cave's full of Undead and the undead give you Rover's reputation oh right okay you're coming up this path so there's the dude the path you want to follow is this main path up here but if you hang up hang a left into the city you can tell us a hidden area because the map didn't show it properly come over this bridge there is always the first time you come in there's always a body and a crate and there's always a load of stuff in here you might get something useful might get a weapon upgrade it's always worth going in there and having a look and cowboys up here now that Quest that old Drew idiot gave you was to talk to this bloke you don't want to start a fight with him and you don't want to get funny with him so he he's got a bit of a strop on but if you pick the top option and then the I'm sorry option you'll get that what will happen when you get to Homestead much later is he will be there and you talk to him you'll get even more XP and then I think you probably get a discount at his shop because you were nice to him anyway carry on following this path the rift you're looking for has just appeared on the map there are cobium Foothills Rift get over there and activate that before you do anything else then head straight down almost directly south from there and there's a camp and there are two blokes in here going to give you masts that are nearby he wants you to find some guy and this bloke wants you to blow up a barricade you can't blow the barricade up yet because you've got no Dynamite to go and get the dynamite the different ways you could do this I would go this way coming up this hill watch out for Undead coming out of the ground about here possibly sometimes if they don't they might pop out of the ground in here yeah there they are war cry them Force wave them come up to here and there's a hidden path that you aren't going to find takes you up to there's always one of these medium decent chests you can get a bunch of stuff gunslinger's jacket all right I'll just take a break from Soldier stuff to talk about the gunslinger's jacket that's a great item level 20 if you get one of them hang on to it particularly if you're thinking of doing a gun build that doesn't feature The Inquisitor because if you look at what that gunslinger's jacket does in the toolted granted skills this is a range dual wielding passive bonus also enables the ability to dual wield ranged weapons so back in the day before the malmouth update Brought The Inquisitor in if you wanted to dual real guns you had to have an item that would let you do it and that's one of them there are others that's one of them it's a decent decent beer kit so I'm just going to go around here trying to trigger Undead spawns the enemy character types are color coded so if you if you see a yellow one it's a Healer I'll mentioned the other assassin when I see them but yellows yellow we will get them early on particularly a lot of skeletons yellow skeletons healers take them out these are lightning attack guys but watch this now horse waves doing a good job right so let me just clear off just clear right I knew I knew they were going to do that make sure there's no more lurking around so I can talk okay so the first Quest that guy gave you oh yeah I'm supposed to report back tomorrow night I'll do that in a bit that was because I killed that Shanks guy got to talk to him don't worry about that so there's two quests up here collect the dynamite destroyed abandoned barricade the other blokes had fined the Lost out and return to whoever at the thing so that camps down here and there's the portal so this is the last Elder up here so no matter whether you come running this way or this way it's a bit of a circular route you get up to a talk to this bloke and he says some old stuff find the loss Rover out what I'll do as you say what you can do now you can map back I'd recommend mapping back because if you're not already earning robust rap you start this Quest off you'll start learning rogue's rap now you've got a choice here you can you can lie to the quest giver and get a free Relic but I tend to not do that particularly if I've already got a relic see yeah so if you lie and say you haven't got it you'll get a free Relic to just boost your attack for a bit it's like it's like a skill you have to activate you give it him you get robbers rap if you weren't already earning robust rap battle started off and you get a bunch of money so I've got Devil's Crossings going well it's more than halfway between friendly and respected Rovers almost up to 650 I Mr bad I must have had some I do not know where that first bit of Rover's rack came from I think where I got that from there must have been something that I came across in that one I can't remember anyway map back to where you map down from and then come out and clear the rest of this area there's a totem I'd say kill everything around it first just in case you get overwhelmed there should be some more down here that will spawn out as well there they are it's a totem's not there for you don't worry about it it'll be somewhere else well I'm going to get out of that there's some reflective guy that's not so good Charlotte chaos damage yeah it's actually that's part of the set that's a three-piece set again if you're doing a demolitionist with a gun that's pretty good element oh we'll talk about that in a minute one of the things I was covering in the first one if you if you've got something that converts physical damage act to another damage type just avoid it even if it looks good yeah most of this stuff will just sell on actually some good results yeah well Pierce right yeah I don't really at this point I don't really want to lose Pierce resistance if you stand up here that's that's the bridge you've got to blow up you've got no Dynamite to blow it up so you look into this mine go into this mine staunting mine let's see it so there's your there's your Rift there's your big Village bit where you guys are giving you the quests there's one entrance into the Staunton mine there's another that's where the Elder was so you yeah you're just working around this area at the moment this brings you in at the top of the mine quickest route to get to the guy where the dynamite is hanger left just kill anybody who gets in your way and there's a little boss fight coming up just now Nicholas Balthazar try and get rid of his mates first there he is right it's getting into a bit of an open area so I don't get completely stunned you've got to watch him because he's he's a bit of a boyo you can face tank him but just keep an eye on your health particularly if the range ones are shooting you at the same time blueprint ranges sound yeah you'll start getting blueprints dropped what I do I won't use any of the stuff that drops as a blueprint because you might not get it although I will use stuff that drops okay that's got physical damage on it um might have to do an upgrade on that in a bit yeah if you if you get an area with bees have a look for breakable stuff because I actually I didn't get the dynamite okay so back when Nicholas Balthazar spawns so that's where I came down Nicholas Balthazar spawns down here by these tents that's not a tent it's like a covered shackling it's a bit Dynamite on the ground if you're lucky when you break that pile of rubbish because there might be a pile of rubbish there you'll get another bit of dynamite or you won't sometimes you get Dynamite oh those piles are scrapped in here if you want just do a circuit in here clear out whatever else is left what I'll do I'll shut up now and I'll speed this up just while I do the run rank pulls in briefly to mention that royal jelly that dropped you want three of them for quests that's coming up later on foreign level 23 and I've got three royal jelly that was a good run actually sometimes you can come in here not get any royal jelly it's a bit of a random current so I've got three so I need three requests that's brilliant point and physique multi-leveling up it was the Mastery bar wasn't it yeah I'm just going to rush up to the end now Max that out as quickly as I can yeah if you go back out of the entrance you came in come down here go straight to that Dynamite location don't worry that you've only got one stick of dynamite you will get loads more as you work your way up through the cowboy area on the way up here so blow that up now what I'll say now is go straight back to this guy who gave you the quest because one of the quest rewards is another additional inventory bag worth getting so don't forget to hand that question because what usually happens is new player you might blow that um gate up and just run through it and forget to come back so at the moment I've got one additional inventory bag when I talk to this bloke Dash this question I Get Money get a load of Rovers wrap I get an inventory bag so I've now got two there you go it's looking good in it what I'm going to do is I'm going to sell a bunch of stuff to this guy I'm just going to have a look through all this I'll keep the things that are decent I'll sell the rubbish and I'll just show you what it looks like after I've sold it all on okay I sold a bunch of stuff I'm just going to do a couple of things now that I thought I'd show you not that that's pushing the wrong button okay so go back to Devil's Crossing first thing I'm going to do is dump my components into shared stash as this one there's the dump components button these things are actually useful well that's not I just kept that just should I swap that out I'm going to lose that nine percent attack damage compared to how it's a shame but the the other one does more damage is pretty good I've kept that reason I kept that I'm going to take that chip claw off and I'm going to put it on that weapon because so you've only got one chip claw and you want to lose it I think I'm going to keep that thing I'm going to keep I think I'm going to keep and I'm going to hang on to those two things as well so if you want to pop a component over and you don't care about losing the original item actually to talk to Mornay that's that question report back to morning he's going to tell me to go and kill Darius cronnling right so I've now got this main quest kill Darius cromley Darius cronly is a progress blocker you have to kill him to get past a certain point uh on the map he's like the Gorgons in Titan Quest if you remember that you've got to kill him to put the grass to open a door right so Darla you rescue her from burritt's Village as part of a quest you know one you stick that in there you've got Salvage I haven't got dismantle or transmute at the moment transmute you pick up from a quest in forgotten Gods you won't need that for a bit you won't be transmuting stuff I'd probably say don't bother transmuting stuff until well until you've got End Game Gear it's not worth it really unless you unless you're doing stuff on a high level character for a lower level character and you want to create a low level set anyway we'll get back to that dismantling opinions vary I never bother with that so you're on Salvage it's going to cost you 242 at this point that's nothing keep add-on means keep the component keep item means keep the actual weapon so if you do keep add-on choosing to salvage the component will destroy the item in any augments yes augment's a different thing you can put on there right so I got my chip claw so I can do with that is I can put that on that weapon there so that's how that works I'll now go and sell to my alternative dude here right let's get back on track let's go back to yeah might as well a lot of the original rifter by the gate it doesn't matter it's like two seconds away actually right let's go back forget what I was just saying before we progress on I'm going to go and do this cave over here so head east until you start Crossing this row go straight acrossing up this hill and you'll start finding a bunch of Undead the crystals to collect here A bunch of Undead to kill sometimes you'll get a totem you can see it on the map up there clear everybody's standing around let's get this totem sorted out that Guardsman spalled as it dropped there it's quite nice actually I said decent low level set the chances of you getting all the pieces of it pretty limited look at that yeah I don't use Shield training Guardians will requires a shield okay so if you were using a shield that would be good I'm not so it's not like there's a law note up here and a bunch of enemy bad guys to kill this is a an optional area crumbling watch but there's a bunch of stuff to kill up here with something normal to come up here and there's usually a load one or two groups will come out the ground here some at the back as well if you're lucky so that was where's that Rift there's that bridge so the rift is sort of here somewhere so if you come almost straight across the east you can see a cave entrance I've got a I gotta figure I want to do arson issues gotta figure out what I'm talking about I'll get closer to that entrance that case so you can see what I'm talking about foreign oh yeah there's some Gear with stuff on it okay so the gloves have got battle fury on and sort of combat ready state of mind and the trousers have got Ring Of Steel all right it's piercing damage but it's funny enough early on I mean don't worry too much about what gear does you'll be swapping it out quickly enough okay so this is where we're going in all right so that yeah that's the one where that was the road down here where that guy gave us the quest to talk to his mate which is that here's the other way in up here there's a shrine in here there's a boss fight there's a One-Shot gold chest when you kill the boss and there's a load of Undead ghosts and whatever right well I can show you because they they drop back to plasm which is that of Serenity and increases your energy regen I'm going to put this Force wave belt on so what that's done is just put two more points so how many pointers to put in the force wave that's two and I'm getting three off that and there's the original Point that's in there so six okay so that's now costing 8.8 energy every time I use it so what I'll do is I'll see how bad that is and we might have to use the ectoplasm to sort the issue out right it's the boss fight so if you come in through that entrance the boss fights up on that there barross radlett Estonia where is he there he is right so there's your boss level 26. you can use the lumps on the landscape to avoid his ranged attack and you shouldn't have to but if you do have to cease behind that so his ranged attack didn't hit me so he's dropped a bunch of stuff and that gold chest was locked until I killed him you'd always get an epic item out of there once you get over the level 50 you might get a legendary item that's all right actually if you're doing a Vitality Bill bleed build that's all right it infects the enemies with a kind of a light version of bloody pops what I'll do I'll show you what happens with that where's it gone I'll put that on temporarily when you hit things right they're all infected now see they're all infected with that stuff if you're doing a bleed build or a Vitality build that's pretty good but I'm not buffing that damage site with anything so it's not worth it foreign with Rovers you start killing loads of Undead Roper's rap goes up really quickly I'd say rovers are probably there without any starter Buffs to rep like a mandate I reckon Rovers if you go a bit kill crazy places like steps of Torment they're going to be the ones that are going to get leveled up in rap the quickest and kind of ironically Devil's Crossing are a real pain in The Knack to level up because they only really go up on killing chronology scan as far as leveling on kills goes yes the other entrance this is the the First Central one I came up to early on didn't come in for this area like a lot of areas in Grim Dawn it's sort of it's a circle you can go around either way and you'll clear the whole thing I'm going to do the shrine the shrine system up here you can see it there's a fight one desecrated shrine following my own advice which I rarely do clear the surrounding area before triggering the shrine let's get ready make sure your stuff's not on cooldown get out of that all right so what I've got now I've now got four points or devotion points that I haven't used trying to figure out what's a good thing to show you because you've got all sorts of options if you're sticking with Soldier I mean you can look on here for physical damage that hammer things all right that's actually not bad I assume physical and bleed I'm going to attach it to an attack skill I could put it on four slave I could put it on Blitz tryouts blessing it's a heel thing to seek energy not bad poison natural resistance not bad energy Regen movement speed lowers your spirit requirement for jewelry that's actually going to be quite handy later on not four percent physical resistance get as much physical resistance as you can that's a good thing and then you've got that heel thing the build's doing enough damage at the moment without me thinking I need to go crazy on wrapping more damage constellations I mean I could but let's get a heal thing so what how does this trigger Blitz photo so you could put it on Force wave and it says it's got a 10 second duration and a seven and a half second skill recharge so you hit something you got a one in three chance for it to trigger off for 10 seconds you'll get in else restored you're getting a reduction in Poison duration reduction in bleeding duration and your armor goes up let's just get that so that's good in my opinion you can always change it you can always go back to the spirit guide and respect these things if you don't like the way they're working out or if you want to do more damage right I'm going to go out for that gate now I've done everything around here I've cleared that cave got the shrine done the Quest for those guys around here don't really want to farm anymore I'd go so there's an area up here with some more Cowboys on it if you want to farm some cable gear thank you one of these might drop the fiery hat or the fiery shoulders again you can see them wearing it he's got I think he's got both and even if they're wearing it that he's got the helm on he's got yeah he had the helmet on as well you could see it oh shoot to me oh that guy off some of that look at that go right so yeah so if you're doing a fire build that Hat's really good if you look at that 56 fire damage to fire strike plus 80 Chris damage crit damage to fire strike the main demolitionist attack seal that flames of ignify that's an Inquisitor thing and it Buffs puts three points into each of them to sort of the fire damage so you can get those those are really good items for a fire damage build purifier or something he's got them on as well but yeah he's dropped his shoulders so these things aren't that hard to Gap on back to where I started so I think I think that's that area pretty much explored so there's your bridge out of Devil's Crossing that's the initial area where you kill that Shanks Guy the Quest guy there's the two entrances into the cave with the shrine and Barros rattle if there's the rift as The Rovers Camp I swear the Elder is up there and this is where I've got to do that bridge thing what I'm going to do is I'll map back to that Rift and finally get out of here but yeah I mean I've shown you the whole map and all the little bits and pieces I'm trying to think although I missed any hidden areas I might have done don't think I did shout out in the comments if I missed anything I'll try and show all the hidden areas just in case anyone needs to go there to do stuff if you're into fully fully exploring it's a little bit of a detour up here you can go up here and just collect some stuff kill some bad guys there's not much up here just that little bit there the way you want to go is over this bridge Rocky Coast just ahead there's another brine it needs I'm trying to think what it needs foreign can't remember what it needs in Normal oh it's a frozen heart now good I don't have any Frozen Hearts in inventory well I've got pros and hearts in stash so I can show you that level 24 getting there aren't we pointing physique three points in the Mastery bar I know that's not the most thrilling thing ever but it's what I'm trying to do is get up to that as quickly as possible and then be doing all sorts of massive damage right that Cave's interesting because there's a boss in there that might kill me so what I'm gonna do I'm going to put a rift down here so I can quickly come back clear that cave out once I've got to the next World Rift right so this thing nothing up my sleeve I've got no let's just double check I've got no frozen heart there's no frozen heart in my inventory but I've got frozen heart and stash so when you come to do this it picks it up from your stash that is worth knowing you have not got to Lug all your components around with you so I can do now Loop in the eye okay what I've got now I've got this uh dryad thing and I'm going to stick that on pause wave actually what was the percentage chance unfortunately was it 33 yeah you can see when it triggers up it's on there dry it's blessing and then it runs out okay okay so it actually has a it's it's cooling down while it's up some of them do that some of them don't drive blessing looks like it does right so we've come here the quest that Mornay gave us beat to Quade at the Rover cam so it is Quaid keep your weapons yeah yeah he wants me to go and smash them and it forges up there's some other quests down here this guy wants you to kill something I'll do that and this is the guy that wants that honey anything I can do to help blah blah blah I want three royal jelly is this enough royal jelly so it's this stuff here you get Rover's wrap you get some health pot extreme Health pot thingies and you get the recipe to craft them go and read the recipe you can craft your own I'll read that as well these are Rovers shot actually gonna um I'm gonna sell some of this stuff I don't really need it yeah so as you get Rovers wrap up you you're able to buy all this stuff blueprints items augments later on you get these defensive augments with resistances on that can go on any armor piece trying to fill in gaps in your resistances if you've got issues later on right so that was where we broke the barricade for the first group we come up over here went right here did all this stuff what I'm going to do is I'll kill this Quest Target here then I'll go back and clear that cave act that I was talking about there he is look at my article he's put bleed on me Brian's blessings trying to fight her I'm gonna die right or I panicked and took a health pot maybe I should have coated him a bit that's a shame yeah those things are all right but they convert that and converts physical it's got corrosive on it convert and physical to acid all right so I'll do what I said I was going to do I'll go I'll go to the I'll go to the rift and I'll go back to that cave clear that out it's down here yeah it's there like right like I said there's a boss in here that's a bit iffy I'll definitely have to well I think I'll definitely have to kite this one if you were short on Royal jelly this is a good place to come and get some foreign dodgy boss it's down here I think where is it see if I can see it before it attacks me they're all glowing because it's nearby there it is right all them away there it is yeah it's poisoned me but I've got tryouts blessing kicked in look at that though look at all that stuff that's on me now right I popped the house potion not going to run away I'm doing with blitz finally and they dropped two Royal Charlie thank you I don't know if this is any good physical damage Pierce resistance either resistance no not really yeah it's just like a a small area and she was down here somewhere just go back now right there's an optional cave just here we're going to clear that out yeah this is showing the outlaw forges do I'll go out the way I came in because I want to show you a there's a quest that's easy to do actually let's just go right clear that out I'm just going to go back to that riff there's a quest that's easy to do and it's also easy to mess up if you come out you come out of that rip down here down by the docks there's this lady standing here that says she wants you to sort is this Blood he's the guy you've got to talk to so you talk to her first what's happening here this bloke's being a pratt anything I can do to help yeah and she said like don't don't do anything stupid we're the ones who'll suffer so don't fight him so you're going to talk to this bloke see no more scrap you die today you can fight him but then what happens is kids from this Village get abducted and stuck in chromley's Lair and it's all a right faff so if you say how much coin would it take don't give him the scrap because scraps like Quest items and stuff you know you don't give him that give him the money money doesn't matter not in the game right so 2500 which is nothing you better be gone when I return so you know you can act hard and then go and talk to her I bribed him thank you and she gives you three scrap anyway so if you gave him the scratch he gives you the scrap but if you don't give him the scrap it's a scrap profit and you can go and clear this area right if no one else who's really worth talking to around here it's just a few Cowboys to kill up this bit you can waste your Dynamite on that go in there clear some Undead and it's an alternative route into that cave we were just in so don't bother well I mean you know you've got loads of dynamite wasted on that it's worth worth doing right so finally I think I've done all the optional stuff around here let's go up here and get on with the main quest or the sword of the main quest for that ham a few mine entrance is just there where you want to go is through this gate Blitz is good for getting up I might vanish one as well getting up onto Bridges so you don't have to click on it and get stuck right we're getting either fighting pit I'm gonna put a rift down in case I die how many are in there oh there's two of them okay I pulled one out it's oh he's a right nightmare what's my health name he's probably the worst of the three but you can make him you'll turn around and go the other way and then what you can do then is you can Blitz up behind him vanish up behind him yeah don't get both of them on you at once look at my health health part I'm gonna die I'm gonna die get away from there so what you've learned from that don't try and fight both those idiots in that pit they're stronger than the vast majority of bosses you're going to encounter right up to the end of act one and halfway through act two they're really bad news you can avoid them well you can try and avoid them I know they've got their health back as well right I'll try and get past there without getting them dragging them out of that it again so yeah try and avoid pulling them out of the pit if they come out just run away to keep running away until they lose interest they've lost interest that's good let's keep an eye on them because if they come back out you want to get away from that right that's the first Forge there that I smashed up to it says over here where does it say it destroy the Bandit for which is one out of three that was the first one there's loads but you might miss one yeah that thing about the fighting pit it's not because this character's weak it's because they're just really strong you'd have a hard time fighting them on anything if you tried both of them at the same time it's the next Forge there right it's a nice little hidden you rotate the map it's easier to find it and come down here you can see that chest in there with the trick on that look at all that stuff and then reset the view this is just so you don't get completely lost watching where I'm going to get more Blitz up to him why not all right don't bother a bit more Dynamite here's another Forge here to smash look so I've now done three you can go back and hand that in but I generally just get carried away with rushing around killing things go back and hand it in later right because I'm using the rainbow filter you can see the prefixes and suffixes of stuff in different colors that thing has got two rare affix has just got a rare prefix Renegades it's got a rare suffix destruction and it's in a weird green color because it's a monster infrequent item but that's popularly known as a triple rare because it's double rare on a monster infrequent it's quite nice here's another Ford so if you haven't got your three I mean there's one there and there's one there's one just down here where is it there it is uh somewhere there it is that's five of them so I think it's another one as well if you miss one of them you don't have to go back number six is just down here on the left I'll get the map up in a minute so you can see where I've been going there it is near the entrance to Darius cronloos lair there's the old arkovia Rift there's the camp there's the road back down that's that Harbor area I don't know if your mine entrance that's where I am this is cronly's Lair chronically big boss fight ahead after a while level 25 nice okay point in there you could grab that reduce targets physical resistances that's pretty good chance to terrify I suspect that reduction of resistance is only happens on the terrified dudes possibly that thing disrupts the target skills reduces targets which is designed to put point in that Rift just up ahead trigger that get up here we could only get the shrine and then Rush on and kill cromley Theory there's also a secondary Quest targeting in money bags Martin when you go and hand that quest in to smash the forges Quade will say go and kill money bags Martin but if you've already killed him it will just say yeah okay you've done it yeah when you when you trigger that war cry now watch this because they'll get they'll all get that broken purple Shield thing over their head well some of them do most of them do shrines down here took a bit of a detour it's not on the way anywhere so you've got to come down here and get it then you've got this thing right you break those vases in the corner you get this thing come out it's a quest item it appears over here and it will say collect the animals of our Cobia it ticks we you don't get that Quest until you smash that thing no one tells you to go and get that bring the animals of arcobia to what's it she's standing near Quaid at that camp scavenged plating you should have loads of them there's loads of that stuff dropped but if it was in your statue it can't as well dryad's blessings leveled up as I mentioned in yeah one tutorial your your devotion skills level up when you gain XP it's nothing to do with them being used they've got to be attached to an active skill they've got to be attached to a school you can't leave out like empty like um like that where it's not attached to anything it won't level up unless it's attached to something and it levels up when you gain XP from any Source kills Quest rewards whatever I'll have a think about where I'm going to put these devotion points before I start populating anything else I'd like to go for another Attack One right so that animals of our Cobia Quest we'll quickly go back and cache that in because it doesn't lead to anything else it's just to find this hand it in quest down here I found some texts bye bye load of rap actually let's his mates foreign yeah you've got to watch those bombs that he throws you can dodge them you can make him throw throw it at an area and then run away from that area yeah some money bags markings down there's another mini area for getting royal jelly and bees and stuff around here yeah one royal jelly thing about royal jelly like a lot of the um best items in the game if you collect them in normal you can use them in a leaker ultimate they're not tied to the difficulty level so you can stockpile royal jelly in normal and use it in Elite oh yeah that was a hidden area through that wall there just in case now when you get to this bit what you might find if you didn't Challenge dereni and kill him at Devil's Crossing durani the bad guy boss will be here and you have to kill him before you can get through the gate if you've already killed him back in Devil's Crossing like I did in the at one video he won't be there foreign Relic blueprint and a bleed damaged blueprint potion I just pick all this stuff up and get the crumbly fight over with and check all the stuff I've picked up in a bit right chromley fight can be a bit of a pain it's not he's not quite as annoying as Krieg might put a rift down just in case I die and recommend doing that otherwise you've got to run all the way back now because he's a quest Target and I've got the quest active he won't do anything till I talk to him what I can do is clear all this stuff out of the way first wait for my dryads blessing to run out and cool down like all right let's go something like that die Blitz vanish war cry Force wave get away from him thank you yeah because because the attacks I'm doing do damage over time you can run in hitting with everything and then run away so once everything's cooled down it's like Blitz vanish war cry Force way then run away yeah you're gonna watch it if you try and face tank him because he's a bit of an ether boy then just clear up the rest of these fools they stopped spawning once he's dead but oh there's another blueprint rally there's a cold damage one that's not bad actually not for me but gold chest again that's locked until you beat him you see the vast majority of things that drop that do physical damage convert it out to something else oh yeah don't forget to come in here and smash that up as well because you get you get an optional other book out of there little books make XP right now whatever you do don't quit out now because it says reports or more and I do all this stuff report back to grade you'll think well I've killed I've killed chroni yay me you go back hash it all in and then you think oh I'm knackered I'm gonna have a break from this but guess what you haven't done you haven't opened up the next Rift yet so come out and open the next Rift before doing anything else foreign 's little room so there's the bridge across across there there's crumley's little room you come out of here throwing this little bit down to here and out through the cave entrance this will put you into the next area Twin Falls they were not safe go and get that Rift before you quit run past this ongoing battle activate the rift and then go back in and join in clear to read it because you'll sell it back to him come out of that shop and then do it boom you've learned how to craft well I haven't my friendly neighborhood blacksmith has so you go in here Devil's chord you need scrap you need a ward Stone you can create a ward Stone I think it's a default thing there it is ether crystals Shield steel serial number and that you will have loads of them by now they drop all over the place you should have plenty of them so you create your ward Stone I'm going to do it now I'll do in the next video when I'm 35. is it 35 yeah 35 so I'm going to wear it for a
