Green to clean!!

all right then i've got a little bit of a green pull here but custom i don't want to empty it i mean you don't need emptying to be honest it just needs shocking flocking chlorine granules so i'm just going to show you how i get that done i've got my bits here i'm going to need for today net brush shock flock and some chlorine granules um see how long it takes i reckon a few days maybe because it's only got an 18 inch filler probably not man enough for this pool anyway first of all get some actually gonna run the pump first do a back wash and then get some chlorine granules in so it's been backwashed i'll just stick it on rinse for about 10 seconds and what i'm going to do is put on recirculate because i'm going to be put using the flock and i just don't need any other chemicals getting caught up in the filter so i'm going to be turning the pump off after i flopped it i'm just going to leave it to run for like half an hour and then turn the pump off because that's what you need to do when you flock a pool a bit of netting first then goldie's leave off the top so so so now what i'm going to do start getting these chemicals in i'm going to go for the shock first and i'm going to do this before i brush the pool so when i brush the pool helps mix them up so then i don't have to pre-dissolve normally during the summer anyway you don't need to pre-dissolve because the warm's warm enough for it to dissolve soon as it goes in and also depends on what quality of um products you're using some stuff like really fine dust it sounds like really granularly takes longer to dissolve so 2.5 kgs of shock first let that mix up for a bit then we're going to go for some chlorine granules this is just what i do anyway so let's see how it goes two of these 1kg granules i will be putting in so after all that and then i'm going to put the [Music] flock in and i'm actually going to pre-dissolve that because it works a little bit mix our little brush so so now what i'm going to do is brush the hair pull and i'm going to use this 13-inch 360 brush first just to go around the steps so i can get around around the poland and then i'll use the 20 or 22 inch common water sizes 360 for the rest of the pool and what i didn't actually say before was when i checked the chemicals was making sure that the ph was at the correct level so your chlorine and everything else works efficiently it all helps so now it's been brushed shocked and flocked it's been running for around half an hour it's got chlorine granules stabilized glucagons in there um what i'm going to do is turn the pump off and just let the chemicals do their thing and hopefully within a day or two this will be nice and clear all the debris will be set to settle to the bottom and i'll get the facts out and just clean up and then it's ready to go again this lovely river that's the plan anyway we'll see what happens in a couple of days all right back here at this job then it's cleared up all the debris is on the floor you can see the bottom it's not 100 but i can start hoovering the pool to waste this is a couple of days later now so it's not done too bad but it could have been a bit better so i'm going to do is set up the back set i've got my own pump to hoover the pool um and then once i've hoovered the pool uh then i'll net the top because i don't really want to disturb all the debris that's settled on the floor so you've got to be really careful as carefully as i could i'd put the back set in the water but we did create some disturbance you see i'm just gonna get a bucket of water this is to prime the pump so so because i come from the pump i've gotta wait for the pump to suck out all the air from the pipe shouldn't take too long so just going around doing all the hard bits first all the corners and i'll do the steps in a minute [Music] so [Music] [Music] do so let's just get this last bit up then i can do some then it'll be looking quite good like i said it's still cloudy so you'll need another day of filtration some sparkle tubs maybe inside that's it all backed up so we've got the net out just gonna get all this i've got the pool running now um it's looking nice and blue i'm just gonna net off all the leaves poor knees filling up as the water's a little bit too low for the skimmer to run so that is the pool oh it's gone from green to clean slightly cloudy now but um i've netted it all out just needs to fill up a bit um so i'll put back tomorrow i'll put a couple of sparkle tabs in hopefully that'll make it go nice and crystal clear i'll pop back tomorrow and we'll see back here after another day then and it's cleared up a little bit more i've had actually used the pool yesterday as well which is good you can see the bottom because you can see a little bit of debris so you can see the bottom steps so that is job done for me green to clean in free three days not too bad [Music]
