what's going on everybody it's Brew dude welcome back to the channel today we're going to be going over some tips and tricks for beginners in gry zone Warfare so I know there's a lot of videos about this there's a lot of different tips and tricks videos but um I'm just trying to compile some of my own personal ideas that I've come up with since playing this game few things that I think are pretty helpful so uh let's go ahead and jump into it the first tip that I want to talk about is gear fear essentially gear fear means the fear of losing your hard-earned loot when you go in for a raid and not being able to retrieve it and and things like that but uh I'm here to tell you it's a good thing it is actually a good thing now a lot of people will tell you that you need to get rid of this gear fear but in my personal opinion it will affect the way that you play it's going to change the way that you play it's going to make you more careful which is important because this game needs to be played slow and that's another thing that we're going to talk about next so that is my first tip use gear fear to your advantage play like you have gear fear but don't let that affect your emotions don't let it affect how much fun you're having don't let it affect your experience of the game and your enjoyment the next tip I want to talk about is preparation before a raid so you're going to go into a raid you're going to jump on your helicopter and you're going to land in your LZ and 5 minutes 2 minutes in even you're going to realize oh no I forgot all my medical supplies or I forgot bandages or I have no food and water or I don't have enough ammo for this so it's crucial to figure out what you need to bring in before you go in and this is everything you need to account for the ammo that you're going to need depending on the area some areas are very highly populated and some are not so you don't want to bring not enough ammo and then have to pick up weapons from dead enemies you don't want to bring too much in cuz then you're not going to have inventory space to pick up vital key items uh such as for quests or loot that you plan on selling so when it comes to medical supplies you have to take into consideration the health system so you're going to need to be dealing with bleeding broken bones organ injuries General Pain a lot of these things so here you can see I have bandages I have gauze splints surgery and Sutra kits so these are all things that you're going to need to bring in especially if you're solo especially if you're solo I cannot stress that enough if you're running solo you need to have everything now the thing is some food and some water I usually just bring one item per food and one per water um that's that's a pretty common item to find unless you're in a heavily militarized Zone sometimes it can be a little harder to find food and water in those areas again you have your your ammo and your magazines I usually will only have two magazines plus the one in my rifle and then I'll carry some extra ammo to load the magazines I keep some grenades in my pockets do keep in mind that grenades cannot be thrown from your backpack you have to have them in your pockets in your kit I think in your belt too will work but if they're in your backpack you cannot throw them you'll have to drag them into one of those inventory slots that I listed before one of the biggest things that I see uh people forgetting to do is checking your armor making sure that your durability is I would say at least 90% I like to go in with with above 90% durability because as that armor degrades it's going to be less effective and you're going to take more damage and die quicker so be sure that you're inspecting your gear before you go in another thing is inventory and stash management this would be the next tip making sure that you organize things in a way that makes sense you don't want to be rumaging through your inventory especially in a firefight to try to find your medical supplies or say you die and you want to retrieve retrieve your gear and now you're rumaging through your your storage back at the base and you cannot find a starter kit to get you going so I always make sure that I organize periodically my inventory make sure everything is in a layout that makes sense for me next tip I want to talk about is taking it slow this is not Call of Duty you cannot expect to rush into an area especially solo and you can't expect to go in there and just dominate you have to take this game slow a lot of the things that I try to do are Recon the area before I even engage any enemies uh I usually stop in multiple points Recon the area look for enemies before I engage I need to make sure that I know where all my enemies are because if you engage and there's an enemy 20 M to your left and you didn't know about it because you didn't take the time to look well now he's shooting you in the face and you're done so take some extra time to just scope out the area play it slow and make sure that you have situational awareness another thing while you're on a raid is looting and selling so Gathering Gathering equipment and things to sell while you're out and about is a great way to make money so that you can buy pieces of gear for yourself so I always recommend before you get on the helicopter to xfill I always make sure my backpack is pretty much full all my inventory is pretty much full that way I can come back I can sell a bunch of stuff make a couple Grand there's no harm in filling your inventory as you're leaving one of the best ways that you can make money that I found is to strip weapons of their Optics there are some Optics that sell for over $100 and they only take up one inventory slot that's a great way to make some cash I believe the uh T1 optic is $111 takes up one inventory slot you can find these abundantly in Fort nareth but really any one slot optic that you can find you can even find them here in Bona you can find them you can find some in your starter town you can find them in bonai you can find them in the bunker ybl one uh Hunter Paradise things like that you can always find these small Optics fill your inventory full of them bring them back to the trader sell them you get thousands of dollars it's great it's the best way that I found to make money at a beginner or intermediate level next tip is going to be to PVP when you're ready and only when you're ready if you are hopping straight into bvp as a beginner you're going to get frustrated you're going to start to dislike the game because how many times you die there's going to be people who will team kill you for gear just play PVE until you get nice and comfy with the game familiar with the controls familiar with the areas I have no no shame I'm level 17 almost 18 I have absolutely no shame in saying that I pretty much exclusively play PVE at this point you know I'm not 100% familiar with all the areas I have enough to worry about with the AI so the AI in this game is pretty brutal at times so if you're not ready to have that added stress of also fighting players then don't do it just save yourself some frustration enjoy the game in PVE get familiar with it and then when you're comfortable you have some gear built up then you can jump into PVP and enjoy some of that excitement the last major tip that I want to give to you guys is don't sweat the small things don't sweat the petty stuff and don't pet the sweaty stuff I think that was George Carlin quote this game is pretty brutal at times the AI is insane they can glitch out they'll 180 turn around One Tap you in the head after you light them up with 10 rounds of armor piercing m855 it's brutal but this is a work in progress game it's an early access it's a pre-alpha you know this is stuff that'll get worked on the game will glitch out sometimes you're going to lose gear you're going to die and then your body's going to disappear this stuff is going to happen it's going to happen often more often than you'd like but don't let it ruin the experience for you you have to look at things in the big picture you can't take something that happens in an instant and let that govern the way that you feel about the hours the fun that you just had this game is extremely fun it's satisfying the gun play is amazing the stress and the excitement the adrenaline that gets going when you play this game is nearly unmatched it's a fun game you can't let a couple bad things ruin it for you especially when you consider that it's an early access game so that's about all the tips that I have for you guys today please enjoy the game have fun with it report your feedback to the developers they have a great Discord channel for all that this game is awesome and I'm very excited that we all going to be a part of it and our opinions actually help change and mold the way that this game is going to be presented when it's finally released so enjoy the game take some of these tips run with them give me some of your personal tips down in the uh in the comments sections below and I will see you in the next video thank you for
