Grandma FORCED us to DO IT! Back to School Shopping while on our Large Family Vacation

hey everybody what is up we are opening the blog actually very late into the day it's 6:20 p.m. where we are right now you guys we're opening it in the Bois in the car because we are heading on a road trip you guys it I don't know about you guys when you go on vacation but it takes us forever to get out the door get everything we need done and they are finally headed out but we weren't really in a rush today so we are gonna probably end up in California at about midnight so it's gonna take us a little bit to get there but we're gonna enjoy the ride we're gonna see grandma Blanca late this evening and we're gonna take guys with us on a road trip and just kind of all the craziness that's involved with driving a family [Music] calm down [Music] where the [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] hey what's up everybody so we are here we made us made our regular stop here in Barstow but the main like train gift shop area food area is closed so only McDonald's open right now so we're gonna come in get a snack whether we can get food or ice cream to the plate so I'm giving them a choice to get one item for the drive I'm not here to spend $50 at 9 o'clock at night so what are you gonna get huh what are you getting buttermilk crispy chicken sandwich okay snacks candy does all right what are you getting back see boom Elijah's customizing his order right here you said what you're getting excited to see grandma yeah Oh Nana will probably be sleeping so we'll see her in the morning yeah am berlin's been texting grandma on the way down here you've got a little gift to give grandma huh yeah we'll let everyone know what it is comment down below right now if you guys have an idea as to what M berlin's gift to grandma is we've mentioned it in previous vlogs alright so we got our food boom back to McDonald stroopwafels Braden was really craving it so he got to go I know it's me and dad's actually Kate got her food and now we are back on the road [Music] thank you sir thank you very much [Music] oh that's so nice well like asking everybody I finally got someone that gave me a binder there oh that was really nice good job sharing in Berlin and the last time I was gonna act she said yeah alright you guys ready for about another we've got about an hour and a half two hours something like that not bad it's been a pretty quick Drive it's been torture all right you guys we just made it to Grandma Blancas house Oh 11:15 at night but we're here we made it we're ready to hit the hay sorry there's not much footage on the drive here but it was nighttime and all that so not a lot going on just sitting in the car talking so anyways we're gonna head in take all our luggage in get unpacked get ready to go lay down Ashley has Ashlyn actually has a really early morning tomorrow for girls camp we were dropping her off at 7:45 so yep and then she's gone for like a week you guys so yeah we'll take you guys with us in the morning but first let's go see [Music] [Music] whoa welcome home everyone's just kind of unwinding and then give you a look at these guys already getting comfortable so Nonna's in their sleeping will see her tomorrow Ashland is got to get up at 6 hours and then drive for three boys totally settled em Berlin said I've got to get your jammies on right yes we got them yeah we got them all right we're gonna get settled we'll see you guys definitely in the morning when we take ashlynn and I've got to do a little bit of editing but I am tired I'm gonna go take a shower because I have not taken much today yes it's time I go to camp you ready to go five more minutes 20 more minutes [Music] let's go past you gotta get up it's time good morning ready [Music] and compassion [Music] we are taking Ashland messy hair don't care we are taking Ashland and she is leaving us to girls camp Blue Ash today today is Tuesday we're not gonna see you ash until Saturday my goodness you excited though a little bit that's awesome we're gonna go get her some food and we're gonna head on up [Music] take me out okay good morning everybody we are headed now right now what we're what used to be our hometown which is actually always kind of cool to go to and see like our old friends and stuff from there so Ashland I don't know if we've really even talked about this she is going to girls camp with our yes so our old church that we used to go to she is going up with them a bunch of her friends that she's still really close with and the leaders from there and she's going to be gone there for like five days or something like that or days four days it's actually okay technically four days so we're gonna say goodbye to our daughter she's so tired but they have a lot of fun awesome things plants you guys are not gonna see Ashley in the pod for four days at least good spiritual four days where can she kind of like connect with the girls reconnect with herself yeah have a good spiritual mornings yeah and they're gonna be doing a lot of fun stuff too and literally zero phones which I'm like oh yeah I feel like you can get the most out of your experience when you're not on your phone so he told mom Tina don't do whatever you do just don't lose your person Tina's like why and I'm like cuz you're vote her phone I gotta keep it keep it safe so anyways you guys we are headed up there right now and we are going to go say our goodbyes and it's what's right by where my old office you guys oh yeah it's always crazy like visiting where you used to live because it feels I was telling Daniel I said it feels so like normal and familiar yet you haven't been there for a while so it's just kind of crazy so we're excited for her she's gonna have so much fun if we get pictures along the way maybe we'll insert some of those pictures either on our Instagram or in the blogs so all right do it I feel the day is coming to an end and my eyes are drawn to southern sky and all the while I was trying to pretend the promised land we on the great TV but I'll be coming coming coming so take me out to California where the Sun is always well the streets of Paris [Music] all right you guys we just sent Ashlyn off we are so happy that she's going you guys she just like kicked off with those girls like just right where she left off yeah as if they've been together this entire time no it was awesome and it was so cool just to see some of our old friends who we consider like family and so who are a big part in mine and Tina's like spiritual growth and so it was it was awesome and look right behind me here you guys a lot of you know right there right there that's where my old office was now a pet supply it's now a pet supply shop oh man all these like bittersweet feelings it's crazy but we're excited to go to have this vacation guys we're excited to spend this time with Braden and see my family we're gonna show you guys Nanna you guys last night my mom had to go to the emergency room and so it's pretty crazy and we're gonna tell you guys a little bit more about that coming up but it it it was like whoa hey mom logging you go to the doctor yeah serious so yeah that's that's like that was that was at midnight yeah that was literally at midnight so we're gonna go try to just kind of relieve her let her rest and it'd be awesome she could take a nap and yeah we'll take you guys along with our day I think we have plans to go see The Lion King today you know we're gonna find somewhere good to eat I'll show you guys a little bit look at that there's a Los Angeles sandwich for you guys we are sandwiched in between between these trucks buses cars definitely confirms that we probably won't ever come back here again we know meaning like move back here because like this traffic is just it's just such a waste of time like and I know it it's just I don't like it at all and I grew up here you guys so I am so glad that we don't have it like this in Nevada cross my fingers because with the new Raider stadium being built we know that there's gonna be an influx of people moving coming there so I don't know I just get crazy and then we're just gonna have to keep going I guess a little bit more up north maybe to Utah all right so we are home Tina's hugging Ashlyn's blanket all right got these boys you guys ready for some breakfast grandma made some breakfast all right let's get up and start and start making your food whoa look at this you guys we've got some watermelon bacon sausage eggs we've got some pancakes waffles blueberries amberlynn so good so we are getting ready for breakfast Breeden is still sleeping we're letting him just kind of snooze away Nana just got up a little bit ago we're gonna go in a little bit say hi to nan out which I'm excited about it's been how long since we've since Lisa Nana which was like February Wow oh yeah Valentine's oh yeah so it's been about five months since we've been here yes from amber Lynn's baptism and so we're gonna go ahead and see Nana we haven't seen her in five months that's long Hong Rianna did not you didn't know amberlynn was here and Elisha and Ethan Wow were you surprised good what about me so during the day my mom watches a couple kids and she also watches my knee so my sister's working while she's taking care of Nana and so today we've turned it into the school of Tina Phillips Bam Bam so right now they're doing Simon Says Simon Says stand up boom we got some lunch going here grandma made some lunch with some dino chicken Dino nuggets so good but you got the cucumbers BBQ chips Ethan's got some pickle Dino nuggets BBQ chips cucumbers videos uploading right here you guys videos uploading got cousin Brianna here woof ooh ooh em Berlin you got your lunch all right you guys we're gonna be going out tonight we're gonna be going probably just walking over we're gonna walk yeah we'll walk over to downtown Burbank you guys you're gonna go see a movie Lion King and also my mom was telling me about this place that's got like amazing like cookie dough ice cream stuff whatever we're gonna check it out I don't know the name of it I've never been there before but I know it's gonna be amazing food they're inviting pigeons there's farting pigs in the movie tell me don't tell me [Music] all right so I guess we're heading to the movies right now with grandma Blanca my dad is staying here with not on keeping an eye on her and we're gonna head on over to downtown Burbank to see the Lion King [Music] with your breathing why are you alright oh man well maybe don't hold your breath you do I love it - I love visiting you guys you guys haven't been to downtown Burbank it's actually pretty cool today it's just a normal weekday but usually on the weekends you've got street performers you've got got a lot of action going on here tonight is like six dollar movie night it's almost like a matinee type thing so we are gonna go take advantage of that right now six dollar movies you can't beat that [Music] the time amberlynn who's your favorite Lion King character do you know Simba you like Nala ooh what about utilize we'll find out after the movie all right we'll see if it changes after about you mom boom who's your favorite character this brain brain who's yours scar George will see the Ethan is after so another reason why we are not moving back to California there's lines at the movie theater to get popcorn this just does not happen this is crazy got traffic you've got lines for movies you've got it's just not happening sorry California in never never moving back three hours later then BOOM so did you like it what did you think of it yeah lies what did you think of it yeah B what's your rating out of 10 yeah well what is that what did you read it it was good cartoons better though I thought it was really good I'm gonna give it I'll give it a 9 out of 10 I'll give it a 9 out of 10 yeah I actually really liked it it was really good here to wake me up oh yeah she was a poke in my belly what did you think of the movie did you like it yeah how many times have you seen it 2 times all my goodness guys this is our guy right here we've seen him every time I come down but that's weird every time he says that's crazy huh [Music] every time we come here we see this guy and we have Elijah if I'm not mistaken we have Elijah's singing with him you are my sunshine and one without even without us even telling crazy that's pretty crazy highway we're gonna go into the mall and we're gonna eat some Panda Express [Music] [Music] all right kids are eatin some grub okay all right so just finished up eating we are at Old Navy and grandma is making us buy clothes we're seeing us grandma says if you don't get an outfit we can't go to her house so oh so Ethan pick out an outfit did alright lash so Elijah gets to pick out his own outfit I'm curious to see what you pick okay so we don't want to break the bank so you got to make sure you have a budget all right Ethan - I'm breeding the bone boy shopping great and gets an outfit no but you would still look for a deal do you still look pretty well just look for what you want and then we'll see if it's reasonable so Elijah he's got his smile more camo and then he wants some camouflage shorts and I think we should go with the solid color shirt like a white shirt or black or blue okay let's check it out II what do you do - Ethan found some awesome shorts oh yeah nobody you could find the right size dude let's look for it that's awesome do you want a solid color shirt what kind of shirt do you want for that alright life's found what he's gonna wear let's always gonna try on all right you found yours you found yours all right dude let's find the dressing room Braden's just looking try to find some shirts now you boys are ready you guys want to go to the dressing room yeah okay all right we'll go take them to the dressing room okay boom so what do we get we get okay what about yours you like oh hey the boys are over here you should see what they got yeah oh let me see stand up straight I think the shorts we can go bigger so they're a little longer there's a little short yeah what do you think I think shirt yeah shirts definite I said we'd go a little longer on the shorts looked more comfortable what do you do how do you feel with the shorts dude a little longer you want you want bigger I like you try on the other shirt with that try the other shirt see those I think those are better what how do you feel about it those look better let me see they look way better let's have mom check right that's not awesome you like the tighter well you can get we'll get one for you and Grandma can get one okay we like the other one just a size bigger the other one but the size is bigger yeah
