Grain $ Down = Used Equipment $ Down

right and that rides gonna entail looking at some equipment you know the thing of it is is the markets down as far as grain I get that but there's positives to be drawn out of everything the one plus with three dollar corn is that nobody's jumping in the market to lose money so you don't really have to worry about you know trying to access land or acquire land for planting another huge benefit in in my opinion this is the time right now when you're going to find that tractor you've always wanted or whatever it is implements because they ain't selling you're gonna get them on the cheap so I'm kinda in the market for a few things maybe another tractor I don't know but I'm heading out I'm gonna take you guys with me but to go look at a local guy that sells equipment he's been into it for a few years you know it's not like I'm gonna walk for miles and miles and miles across this lot he just has a small lot sells used equipment and it usually has a white you know array of tractors there can be green blue or red I don't think I've ever seen orange there but whatever yeah that's what I'm doing today I am I'm exploiting the down crop market by going on a ride looking for correctly priced equipment wouldn't I get there I'll hit record again the road less traveled will take us there a field that will probably be converted into corn this year well we arrived we are here and we got a couple call to mulcher sitting here I've seen these things go for anywhere between five hundred and five thousand of course I will tell you the one that I saw for five thousand was at a dealership and it was a green dealership so no real surprise there this one here is a brilliant you conventional small farmers these are kind of mandatory if you're gonna run a bean head a floating head unique you need your field nice and level of course most of the guys that watch my videos are not new farmers it might be small farmers but they're not new oh look what we got here folks red out of ten eighty six and boy is that thing beautiful whoo yeah we got 18 438 on the rear that's that's okay we run duals on it anyhow we got the the doors that you can't leave open in the summer they flop shut I'm gonna crawl up in the cab here just because I can tas forward that's correct I like to see that well the only the only one 1086 I've ever driven was a factory ta delete and then how bogus was that secretly to get the hours on this assuming the tech works it looks like 5710 but it looks looks be in pretty good shape for me needs a headliner no big deal though I'm a field guy you know I I'm not a pre guy I'm gonna take a tractor do a show guy I don't care what it necessarily looks like on the inside but I do care how it functions or not in the field and if you notice you know you get on Craigslist or somebody selling some everything's filled ready yeah everything's ready all soybean farmer guess what 40 20 and she's got some new paint daughter there you go that is a nice tractor I mean 240 20 I am a red guy but I'll tell you about a 40 20 that is a bullet-proof machine right there I was just they did it right when they built the 40 20 no doubt about it but I take this 1086 over the 40 20 all right let's get down walk around see what else he's got here yeah most guys that I know that have an 86 series tractor they just take the doors right off and then the summer cuz the way they're set up it looks like a nice machine at Ford 7700 pretty nice machine 56 she looks tired looks tired I've seen worse seats I'm tired trackers of course most of the knobs are missing you know just rot them you know why would you place a knob this one's got electric tape on it that's it makes sense I guess that's safe to plug in I mean I wouldn't but that's just me 8:56 should die no around 105 horsepower definitely has some I wouldn't even call those iffy tires I would call those tires that need immediate attention and they are 18 434 s this they're undersized for the horsepower of this tractor well you know the thing of it is if you could buy this thing right you could restore it and have a lot of fun with it but that's the that's the keys you got to buy it right man you know I honestly looking at it right now assuming it starts and run well okay what do we have here that's kryptonite as far as I'm concerned for any tractor ether assist boo that's destroyed more engines in the farming history than any other element as far as I'm concerned destroys an engine I don't know PA farms what do you think assuming it starts assuming it runs assuming it drives okay and it's got the IH axial three point on it which is cool I'm at four grand okay let me explain what just happened the guy that owns the I guess you can call our dealership showed up and we talked and he didn't want to be filmed and I understand that so I I shut the camera off and we fired the thing up it did run it does have blow by surprise prize with it with the tires and everything like that the TA seemed to work I'd be more interested in and I'm talking about the a 56 I'm I'd be more interested in working in under load I think any any type of you know pull to it and you know he after we looked at it and I've kind of pointed this out that out and this out that out he told me one a fifty six hundred dollars for it and I was I'm thinking 4000 bucks maybe 4,500 it's like I said it's gonna need a rebuilt definitely needs all-new and not just tires needs new centers rims and tires that tractor should have 18 for 38 on it period so I don't know we'll see he you know I'd give him my number I told him if he changes his mind give me a call maybe well maybe he won't doesn't matter to me I'll keep looking the grain market is down so is equipment take full advantage of it all right well I'm gonna go and have a much better than average day even though it's raining out is least is warm rain talk to you soon
