Grail Funko Pop Shopping at Comic Con! (C2E2 2024)

what's up guys it is part two of my first day here at c2e2 this episode is dedicated to the $50 Funko Pop collection challenge the whole goal of the series is to buy a $100 Funko Pop from every single Funko Pop category starting with just a $50 bill so my goal today guys is to find a couple of different $100 Funko Pops here at c2e2 I feel that a convention is a perfect place to find some of the items that have been a little bit difficult to track down so now that my time at the Funko booth has been over and I've got a video about that I'm going to explore the whole con and uh see what cool $100 Funko Pops I can come across and maybe some other grills so let's do this guys here we go all right so I figured let's start off things at 7 Bucks a pop guys I feel like I can see some pretty rare stuff in these cases over here they might have some okay these are definitely going to be out of the range of what we're looking for for $100 pops but holy cow folks there are so many heavy hitter Freddy Funko Grails in here I think my favorites got to be the Freddy Funko as Bender what's that limited to looks like it's limited to only 196 pieces that is crazy guys I don't know if I've ever seen that in person but holy cow tons of Freddy Funko Grails that's insane guys you thought this first case was the only thing here oh my goodness they've got so many good Freddy's and like even behind me check out all these Chrome ones some oh my gosh the original Batman from ComicCon Green Lantern what the first ever Funko Pop in that weird clamshell yeah they got they got the goods over here I mean come on the original cereal monsters actually the metallic ones you're joking is this for real this is for Real all right guys the people at seven bucks a pop definitely hooked it up I got one of their pins and their stickers for you know the airline theme that's going on with Funko so these are sweet shout out to you guys all right I'm done at seven bucks of pop and I got to say guys this place is absolutely Bonkers there is so many people here but I mean as you can see this convention floor is huge all right guys I found a booth that is selling some pops looks like 818 comics and collectibles let's see what they got all right from what I can tell some of the top pieces are probably going to be up top right here you got like grad morron the San Diego Comic-Con whiz sting as well which is a good one and then there's a couple of other ones that are in here like that sweet tooth is really cool but I'll keep looking around so far that's pretty much what I've noticed okay folks as I'm going through this little wall right here I actually noticed one pop that I need to add and it would be this Conan zombie right here we still need the Conan category so that might be a possibility it is a little steep at 130 so but I'll have to remember that this is here because I still do need the coning category but overall guys other than that Conan I would say that they have some other really good grils in here you got like Indiana Jones which is red but uh ooh crusty the clown is a good one too and this is probably one of my favorites in this whole Booth would probably be this Freddy Funko buz light ear dang that's a grill for sure okay this next booth that I came across is in 1600 I don't know if it has a name but I'm seeing some good stuff so far so this is one of the categories that I have guys with pop holidays but we have bunny suit Ralphie and also the old man thing those are some old ones that you don't see very often guys I love the Christmas story pops original Wizard of Oz Big Bang Theory Big Labowski there's some good ones in here yeah from what I can tell it looks like their more expensive stuff is going to be kind of towards the top if you guys want to take a look at some of the other stuff they have with like some X Files pops some Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles o and they also got a couple of different Star Wars grills as well especially that jar jar that's pretty awesome is very important all right I know this isn't funco related guys but I found my way over to the Roosevelt Booth I do love me some Roosevelt shirts there might be one of these things that I buy today I have to kind of go through everything and see what they got but dang it's cool that they're here at c22 today all right guys I was told that I needed to come to the super plastic popping beards Booth so here I am and of course it looks like they got some Funko Pops in here so we're obviously going to check them out I mean if this is in indication if they've got some good stuff guys you got like the Freddy Funko werewolf the plutonium Marty up there also Pebbles Paul mcartney I think that's a good start looks like you got some more grils in here some older stuff like hardock from uh m of the universe but it's kind of crowded in this booth guys but if you want to take a look at some of the other things that they have in here definitely a lot of cool grils so I feel like the best things to look for guys when you're here at K is just massive pop walls and uh that's essentially what I'm looking for right now so let's take a look and see if they've got anything over here all right I am kind of ey in this Gonzo right here guys it's damaged for 40 bucks I did look over the damage a little bit kind of interesting and I say kind of interesting because the suit is a different color from what's on the front but the damage isn't too bad so I'm think thinking of maybe picking this one up today for my Personal Collection okay this makes sense guys looks like this is undiscovered realm oh my goodness guys they got tons of stuff to choose from so one of the things guys that is actually standing out to me is the 8bit category right there cuz that is one that I don't have but unfortunately it's not the ones that I'm looking for so these are the 8bit foot soldiers I think I'm looking for the Freddy funkos those are the ones that are closer to 100 bucks but I don't really see you know the more rare 8bit stuff very often so I figured I'd show it like I said folks another example giant pop wall right here there you go this is a good sign I mean there's tons of different grils that are up here guys whether or not there's anything that I'm looking for you know that kind of begs the question we'll see yeah folks unless I'm missing something I don't see anything that I need for the challenge but if you guys want to take a look at what they have plenty of good grils okay folks one thing that I do notice this one's priced at 60 but I am looking for the ugly dolls category looks like it's just one of the regular ones but I never see those ones out in the wild so I'm feeling C2 E2 has been pretty good so far as far as selection but I still got tons more to explore but that's a good sign you guys I saw this sign right here and uh you know I had to check it out so these are definitely way more than 100 bucks guys but there is a lot of good ones I'm just going to pan over so you guys can take a look at everything beis and buttthe head's pretty awesome original Disney in there breaking bag Back to the Future dang the other side is looking just as good guys plenty of rails to choose from all right guys if I'm going to find any of the Pops that I'm looking for it's got to be fugitive toys they have so many like four or five different walls of grils they got to have something right okay first thing that catches my eye guys if you remember in one of my last $50 Challenge videos I did find a broy out a box so I don't think I've ever seen one with a box so that's crazy but guys they have so many different grils in here one of the categories that I'm still looking for is MLB unfortunately those ones are a little bit higher in price with Ken gy Jr that's down there and also babe bru but I'm keeping my out for MLB this has been the most that I've seen so far but if you guys want to take a look at everything else that they have in here ooh that top row is absolute fire oh my goodness but you got a lot of really cool video game pieces in here some Disney aome Disney Parks Pops that I want to add to my Personal Collection sometimes with those Haunted Mansion ghosts maybe even some of those Toy Story pops are cool too and even some of these Muppet Pops that are down here guys they' definitely got a lot to choose from but I'll check out the other walls too okay folks after doing a little bit of research I haven't found anything that I'm looking for for the challenge but one thing that I found interesting right here guys is this vinyl two pack right here guys I didn't know chich and Chong was $165 that might be the only vinyl that actually has some value but anyways guys regardless they had a lot to choose from just nothing that I needed for for the challenge all right guys I found another booth looks like it's Dad toys interesting never heard of them before but it definitely looks like they have a good selection of stuff maybe they have something I'm looking for I got to say there's a lot of fun Pops in here guys I don't know if there's really anything that I'm looking for but I do like that Kratos that is up there also we got Leela from Futurama what is that one right there is that space sign or lost in space or something like that it's kind of hard to see with the glare but it's there but yeah so far I'm not seeing anything that I need but I would say they got some good stuff though okay guys I'm actually seeing something really good right there this is something that I've been wanting to add of my personal collection for a while the SpongeBob and Plankton like te Teenage Ninja Turtles tin lunchbox woo that is a mega Grail someday I'll have to add it to my collection oh and there's actually Fry and Leela down there too another one guys those both go for about $1,000 each so one day one day all right guys I'm here at Poppin Sun's they've got a really good gril wall in here one that I find kind of cool is this Elvis right here you guys remember I actually found this pop for a really good deal in a couple videos ago so it's kind of interesting to see you know one in a little bit better shape but I think I'm might be here for a second guys just kind of looking through everything that they got cuz they might have something I'm looking for okay this is a quick transition but there isn't anything so far that I'm seeing that I need but if you guys want to see some of the other really cool pops they got in here great selection of stuff and um I don't know a lot of good things just nothing that I'm looking for unfortunately you know funny enough guys I was just at this place not too long ago but plastic Empire do they have anything I need so some of the cool pieces that I'm noticing guys is like Danny Phantom right there I have that in my Personal Collection ASD from How to Train Your Dragon 2o I actually need to buy that one for my Personal Collection c as well to finish off the dragon set got a couple of other things in here guys like a yog Ab a Gaba pop we were talking about that earlier in the video kind of interesting to see another one here you got a Cartman which is awesome a couple of San Diego ComicCon Big Bang Theory pops looks like some pop Sports which is funny because we actually do have LeBron James for the NBA category so it's cool to see this one here right now Barney Rubble is one that I actually have for the animation category so it's cool to see it again but uh as far as I can tell guys I don't really see anything that I'm looking for unfortunately but I had to hide their Booth but I do feel like while I'm here guys I need to test my luck and maybe get a Handmade by robots Chomp I'm thinking about it there's also a Gold version that's a Chase that's tempting me well folks I am back at home here in Utah and I am sad to say that I did not end up finding any $100 Funko Pops well that was sad I feel like there were some decent options here and there but I feel like with how far I've come in the series and how little of Pops that I still have left it's pretty challenging even going to a conven I don't like doing this as much guys but I'll definitely have to buy a couple of $100 pops maybe on eBay or whatnot to help kind of complete this a little bit faster I will let you know guys there is another c2e2 video but I'm just kind of bummed that you know I didn't end up picking up any $100 pops even though we found some some decent stuff overall but in case you guys are wondering one of the last clips that you did see is I did go to plastic Empire and I did end up picking up one of the Chomps right here and uh spoiler guys I did not get the chase this is is one of my first Handmade by robots figures I actually don't have any Chomps in my collection either from abominable toys so I'll take this as maybe a double each one of each I guess but either way guys
