This is a longer version with "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life" sung at the end. So good to see people celebrating a life rather than being 100% serious.
He's not dead yet.
You can tell how much John Cleese loved him. No bullshit no holds barred loved him.
Graham's final interview aired 30 years ago this month. He passed on October 4, 1989.
Amazing and light hearted send off. Great way of paying last respects to a great friend and man, by making people laugh in a time of mourning. I'm glad I grew up watching those guys, I thoroughly enjoy their humour to this day.
On the best of dvds for each python member, there are little interviews set up between the sketches that are also jokes, like Eric idle playing his own mother and John Cleese talking about his 6th Polynesian wife. For Chapman they interview all the other members and my favorite bit was then talking about how Chapman would never show up on time and was therefore referred to as the βLateβ graham chapman.
Chapman's death occurred on the eve of the twentieth anniversary of the first broadcast of Flying Circus, and Jones called it "the worst case of party-pooping in all history"
